i have not had a chance to use it yet as it only arrived last night but from what i can see it looks very well made and good for purpose
I’m doing some house renovations and am using the timelapse camera on an old phone to document the journey. The tripod is OK – I think if you’re a keen photographer you might have issues with it, but for what I need it for it does the job.
I like its automatic pop-up design, allowing quick and easy setup. You just need to gently knock the tripod on the floor, and the legs pop out. It’s versatile and compatible with a range of devices.
The built quality and finishing are good. However, it’s lightweight, and its legs are short, so it is unsuitable for outdoor use in windy conditions.
Overall, It is an excellent option for those looking for a lightweight and versatile tripod for indoor use.
Tall and it fits! I’ve used the tripod a decent amount and it can go pretty high up so that’s a plus. It is sturdy and won’t fall over unless you’re in some disastrous weather. Would recommend.
The innovative design, combined with a durable build, makes this tripod a reliable choice for amateur photographers. The automatic pop-up feature allows for quick and hassle-free setup, saving time and ensuring that I can capture spontaneous moments without the fuss of intricate assembly. The detachable head and adjustable phone holder offer flexibility in capturing the perfect shot. The tripod’s compact design and lightweight nature make it an ideal travel companion. It easily fits into my camera bag or backpack, allowing me to carry it wherever my photography adventures take me. The portability is a significant advantage for on-the-go shooting. But, while the tripod is stable in typical conditions, it could benefit from added stability features for windy environments. A more robust design or additional anchors would ensure steadiness during outdoor shoots in breezy conditions
This camera tripod is extremely light, and to be honest not all that stable,
unless it is on flat ground, but it is still quite top heavy, this is due to the long pole on top of the short tripod
when it is at full height, if you plan on using it for a full camera set up it is very likely to fall over with a horrific outcome, it is ideal for a phone, and when it is short, but that really isn’t the point of having a tall tripod, if you cant use it,
not from me I am afraid,
plus points are that it is extremely light, perfect for travel,
cons, likely to fall over when you add a heavy camera.
This style of tripod is more suited to studio/desk work, it’s short legs combined with a long extendable neck give it a much smaller footprint than my other tripods but at the expense of flexibility in that neck. I might use it at full extension as a light stand but with a camera on it, stability is an issue so I wouldn’t take it outdoors.
It is however well suited to indoor uses where it will not be required to fully extend.
I am also happy to see the inclusion of aluminium in the construction (I’ve seen some truly terrible all plastic tripods), unfortunately this does not extend to the head itself which is all ABS plastic including the plate and all of the adjustment screws.
As a short tripod for indoor video/product photography it is functional.
