About Us
When we tried to move away from single use plastics, we were shocked to find no reusable bottles really worked for us on the move. They were leaky, inconvenient, and tough to clean.
We realised a simple truth – and found our mission – the only way to stop single use is to make refillables more convenient and desirable to use than disposables.

This is a great water bottle for kids. It has a good spout to drink from,easy to clean too. The lid is completely leak proof. The capacity is 500ml and good for a school day without making it too heavy to carry. The design is cute too. It’s dishwasher safe but a big long for a small dishwasher.
This is a really good water bottle. My daughter loves using this water bottle at school. It fits into the school bag side pocket. The lid is secured when not in use, and the quick press catch enables rapid opening. No leaking at all even when left on side for prolonged periods & handy loops for carrying.
Very lovely looking water bottle. It’s kid friendly. It has a triple lock on it so it don’t leak. We have a few of these bottles and they hold around 500mls.

The bottle has the most wonderful dog design which i love and has become my favourite and most used water bottle for work.
The bottle has a nice wide mouth which is easy to clean and a loop/handle for attaching to your bag or buggy with a carabiner, not provided.
I have quite a few ION8 branded bottles and they all perform well, none of them leak and the designs are what makes them eye-catching.

It has a triple lock system which is good for keeping it closed , but my grand daughter cannot open it herself at the moment , but that isn’t a problem as I would rather have control on the opening ! , so there is no mishaps .

What’s not to love about this water bottle. The size is brilliant – not too big, nor too small. I have a metal bottle from ION8, which is larger – it’s fab too, but this has the added benefit of being able to keep an eye on how much is left inside, which I personally find really useful.
The print is great. It’s funny and pretty at the same time. The locking mechanism is perfectly designed and really useful too.

I really like these bottles, they are so easy to clean as they can go in the dishwasher too! I find the plastic versions better than the metal for leaks. They are tall so can fit plenty water in but slim enough to fit in backpack pockets. The pattern on this one is full of dogs. The light pink colour is not super bright but still easy to spot. The lock is easy to use. These don’t have a straw, so do need to be tipped up to drink out of..
Very good looking, children especially like, no odor, easy to clean, for children to use very rest assured. The quality is also very good, and it is also very thick and strong to hold
We’ve used a number of Ion8 products before and been happy with them so were interested in trying out this 500ml bottle.
The design was attractive to the kids as we are a dog friendly household, so we thought we’d give the bottle a go for school.
As with many bottles in the Ion8 range the lid has a double loc, this is important for us as we have had leeks into school bags with other bottles. It has a locking loop that hooks over the top of the release, and it can also be locked by sliding the lid release upwards.
The lid also has a fold away loop for clipping on to the school bag, but it fits in the side bottle pocket of the school bag well enough.
The bottle is lightweight but very good quality, sealing tight as expected and the 500ml capacity means there’s plenty of water for the whole day without the bottle being too big.
Very happy with it and no complaints at all.
When this bottle arrived, I liked its appearance immediately, but it’s also a very useable bottle, with a few points that I really found impressive.

* Good sized (500ml) bottle.
* Easy to open, and close.
* Has a wide neck to make filling and cleaning much easier.
* You can easily see the water level through the semi transparent bottle.
* Dishwasher safe (according to the listing, as I havent tested this)
* Fits in the car cup holders.
* It is made from BPA free plastic.
Overall its a lovely, bright, fun water bottle that is also very practical, with a few useful design features, so I’m happy to recommend it.
Absolutely love ION8 water bottles. They are built to survive going to school, so I think they are worth paying that little bit extra for, because they don’t break easily.
This 500ml water bottle has a pink body and lid, and is covered in the most adorable dog designs. The images on the product page give you an excellent idea of what the bottle looks like. Love the triple lock system – nothing is infallible but this is pretty close. It has a flip up lock which holds the top part of the lid to the bottom part. When that is released you also have to lower the switch into the bottom position and press it to get the lid to open.
Very well made, you can put it in the dishwasher but I do prefer to wash my water bottles by hand. Be aware it’s not suitable for carbonated drinks.
Overall – absolutely love this and recommend it as well.

The Ion8 water bottle is fantastic. The bottle flips open, the cute dog themed prints look very appealing, especially to my six year old granddaughter. She can’t wait to take it to school.
The lid cover has a small latch to keep it shut and secure when not in use. It’s easy to flip open the lid by sliding down the button on the front. Closing the lid you just push it down manually. This bottle is a good size and encourages my granddaughter to drink more water, which is the most crucial part for me.
There is a good flow of water and my granddaughter manages the spout with no problems. Water tastes fresh and not plastic-like. The bottle is solid, well constructed has a lovely smooth finish with good grip. It is also easy to clean, dishwasher safe however I would recommend hand wash to keep it looking intact.
Overall a cute bottle. Lovey design, leakproof and also comes with a carry ring attached for extra convenience.

The bottle has a frosted soft feel to the plastic. A funny dog print which looks like stickers stuck on but it’s printed. I also like the extra catch on the lid which gives that extra security from accidentally opening it. A flip open finger hold which could also be clipped onto a bag. It’s a tip to drink rather than straw and is completely leak proof even shaking it hard upside down. My daughter has drunk more water since having this and has already replaced her old school bottle.
This is a good quality water bottle with a fun dog design. I think the dogs are just so sweet, especially the sausage dog which bends around the other dogs
I feel like we have had hundreds of water bottles for our children and they all seem to end up leaking in the end. However, I have high hopes for this one as it seems well deigned to avoid leaks. The seal feels strong and then it has a double latch to keep the bottle shut. I think little children might struggle to open and shut the latch but it’s probably fine for kids ages 6 and upwards.
It is lightweight and easy to clean.
This is a really fun and attractive water bottle for children. It’s tall and slim so looks a little more ‘grown up’ than the short, wider ones which my 5-year-old has had previously. The design is still fun and appealing to her though – all different types of cartoon dogs in bright colours. It does look lovely. It has a lockable lid which you press a button and it flips open. The only real negative is that it doesn’t have a straw in it so to drink it you have to tip it up, which is fine, but it does mean that the odd spillage will happen with little ones. In terms of it being leakproof though when not in use, it’s so far holding up to the claim, which is a nice change!
Unlike so many other drinks bottles, this one has been designed without forgetting what a bottle needs to be.
Children are forever dropping their water bottles — this one has a lovely grippy texture to it, so it won’t easily slip out of smaller hands.
Bottles that constantly leak inside school bags because the lid isn’t clipped closed — this bottle has a twin-lock feature (a clip and a sprung latch), making leaks less likely to happen.
Having to pour water into your mouth because you can’t suck — the addition of an air hole along side the spout, allows you to drink without having to stop to let air in and liquid out.
It’s a delightful bottle, in a pretty pink shade, with animal decals one the main body.
I will definitely be ordering additional ones. Superb.
Got this water bottle recently as my old one keeps leaking. This bottle fits 500ml of water, it’s dishwasher safe and as you can see it’s pink with dog stickers all around! I especially liked the sausage dog sticker that’s so long it goes around multiple other stickers. The cap itself has a lock to prevent the bottle from opening itself while in your bag and to be fair you do have to press quite hard to actually open it. The bottle is quite slim and it fits easily into any of my bags. My only worry at the minute is how long will the stickers last but so far so good and they look untouched and the bottle hasn’t leaked.
I ordered this 500ml pink see-through plastic ION8 water bottle because I loved the cartoon-style dog pattern, including the woolly sheep-like cockapoo. It’s a fun but practical design which is leakproof, even when held upside down, and easy to fill.
To open it, you have to lower the clasp, push the button down and then it flips open. You can’t have it partly opened so, every time you want to use it when sat at a desk, you have to click the button. You also have to watch what angle you drink as the water pressure hole means it can drop water onto your face or clothes if the angle’s too far. Or you can just unscrew the lid completely and drink straight from the bottle if preferred.
There’s an inbuilt handle that tucks away when not in use but it’s a great bottle and a fun way to stay hydrated. I love it!

This is a very pretty water bottle that hopefully will encourage any young person to want to carry it out with them and keep up their hydration. It holds a good 500ml. It has a triple lock system so definitely not going to leak. I found undoing it a challenge till I realised you have to push the lock down and push in as well to pop open the lid.
It’s dishwasher safe so a bonus to keeping it hygienic. A nice wide mouth with no worries about bacteria buildup around the mouth piece.
There’s a good integrated carrier handle in the lid. The rim has a nice silicone seal around it and it has a lovely feel to it and provides a good grip.
It’s eco friendly as it’s made from BPA free, non-toxic and carbon neutral Recyclon plastic. So it’s a sustainable choice that helps reduce plastic waste and is good for the environment.
The price is at the higher end for a water bottle but you certainly get a good quality product and is most definitely worth the extra cost for it’s sustainability and practicality.
