Quality product. Purchased 12 inch model for motorcycle trip. See photo with dimensions. Used in tank bag to add USB ports for charging devices; iPhone, Mifi, Cardo intercom, etc. Would buy again.
Choice of color, I got black to match my clock radio. I used this to make a single USB outlet into two so I can charge my cell phone and smart watch at the same time.
I needed to add another power cable for my “wireless” Arlo Cameras. This was perfect, as I split off the power from the other camera, in to two lines, and now I have a fully powered (No Battery Needed) Arlo Pro2 Camera. Having full time power allows other features to work, such as Activity Zones, Etc.
The only complaint I have, is that the connection sockets are loose and I needed to use electrical tape to hold the two cables together. This also allowed for better weather protection.
Straight to the point. The Hramax USB splitter “Y” cable is the absolute best I’ve used and could hope for. It’s strength, durability, versatility, connectivity and most important; fit is the best for our industrial purposes.
Charging is faster than any cable I’ve used, be it a splitter or straight cable: power is accepted and transferred.
Again, an excellent choice.
gleich vornweg… es Funktioniert im Auto als Hub, auch wenn in der Beschreibung steht das das nicht funktioniert. es Funzt Tadellos…
Ich habe einen ProCeed GT bj 2024 der leider nur 1 USB Port hat (wie sicher die meisten Autos)
ich bin kein Freund von Stecker rein, Stecker raus.. Stecker rein usw usw… also HUB vom PC getestet wo die Ports einzeln Schaltbar sind… dort ging es tadellos USB Stick mit Musik UND Galaxy S24 (Android Auto) zeitgleich.
Es gab vielleicht mal Fahrzeuge wo es wirklich nicht ging, und sicherlich gibt es auch noch welche wo es nach wie vor nicht geht. in meinem Fall geht es Perfekt… wer also mit dem Gedanken spielt… kauft es euch einfach und testet es individuell selber obs geht oder nicht, und wenns echt nicht geht, schickts zurck 😉
I was looking for a Y cable to connect a wireless mouse and wired Xp-pen tablet to an Iogear KVM switch.
I could have spent less but this one is very well made. It’s working great. I’m Glad I spent the few extra dollars.
I was running out of USB ports in my vehicle so this came to the rescue. It does mean more cords in the console but at least I can run my music and charge my phone as GPS at the same time. It’s good. The braided cable is nice too, it’s flexible and strong.
Can’t really review this item as it simply didn’t work for what I wanted, to provide power from a single USB socket to two devices. The power was simply insufficient for two devices. I didn’t attempt to measure if the device ‘split the full power’, and so I cannot comment if this device causes a problem. I accept that the Virgin TV360 USB socket is not expected to provide ‘twice the power’.
On the positive side, the build quality appeared to be very good.
I use this in the lamp at the side of my bed as it has as USB port for charging. I keep my CD player lead in one port all the time so the second can charge my mobile when necessary. Also charges my Fire tablet when needed. Well made and very reliable lead and the length is just right for bedside use.
Not much to say when something works. Solid feel when plugged into my laptop, and solid feel with each device plugged into it. I bought red because I am the color coordinated type. Stays in place even when I throw my laptop into my laptop bag! Fast, too. Would recommend for expansion of less than a full docking device.
Just what I needed for My gaming PC. Goes with Everything. Nice braided cables, and the ends are very thick and nice. Works Great for My wired controller, and My RGB headset together.
