The 3 package deal is a good price point. They are pretty cool. But the actual plastic and etc is pretty cheap. But they get the job done. Everything else that matters seems quality.

My husband has an SLR camera, which he has used these pens to clean the lens of. He also has a Dwarf telescope (also known as a smart telescope, it’s a compact version!), and he’s used these pens to clean the little lenses on it too.

He finds it much more nimble and easy to use that’s cloth, and it can get into all the harder to reach areas.

    Recommended.

For what it is, it’s okay, does what it is made for. The brush is the best part, gets into the little nooks and crannies. Maybe a little over priced, only time will tell.

The set came with three brush pens, so I have one to use on my camera lenses; the second one I am using to clean my small, delicate ornaments that have too many small details to be able to effectively clean them with a dust cloth; and I still have one left unused for later.

The pen design makes these cleaning brushes very practical, as they can easily be carried around with your equipment or clipped to your clothes and are very comfortable to hold. One end of the pen has a suction pad. It is not entirely obvious what the pad is for, but I am assuming it is for safely removing, selecting, and attaching lenses and filters without risking fingerprints, oils, etc.

The brush is hidden inside the pen, below the removeable suction cup lid. This is handy for keeping it clean and safe when in storage or transport. It can be accessed by pushing the red dial forward, either fully or partially, for a firmer brush head. I am very happy with the quality of the soft and gentle bristles. The bristles are all attached well, firm enough to be effective, and soft enough to not damage my camera screen or lenses.

At the other end of the pen, there is a plastic pen cap, which helps to protect the suede carbon cleaning pads inside. The double-ended cleaning pads, one circular and the other triangle, are handy for cleaning the curved lenses and flat camera screens thanks to the individual shapes. The nano-level activated carbon pads are perfect for removing oil, fingerprints, and dust and allow you to apply a little more pressure for more stubborn dirt.

This is a super handy gadget, and I am very happy that once again K&F Concept has delivered a quality product that has made my life easier.

I am really pleased with this product and you actually get three in the pack so if you have multiple lenses you can have one for each. Very compact and comes equipped with the brush on one end which slides up and down. The lens cleaner comes in two shapes so you can swap it round. Cleans my lenses very well and more than made up with this product, it is handy to clean my drone lens too.

I have a digital audio workstation with midi controllers and a keyboard and they are prone to collecting a lot of static dust – a cloth just can’t get in to the small gaps, so these brushes were a real bonus find. I can’t see a reason for using the suction cap at all so it seems a bit superfluous and the most used feature, for me, has been the retractable brush. It has been perfect for me to move the dust from between faders, knobs and midi keys so I can vacuum it away. I would have been happy to just have one of these pens but as my partner is about to purchase an SLR camera then the three pack will be more useful. Recommended.

Its convenience, portability, and effectiveness make it an essential tool in my photography kit. This pen combines three cleaning tools in one: a retractable brush for dust removal, a soft cleaning pad for fingerprints, and a carbon tip for stubborn smudges. The brush, pad, and carbon tip seem durable and can be used multiple times before needing replacement.

This is the second item I’ve reviewed now from K&F Concepts and it’s safe to say that I’ll be keeping an eye on the brand in future.

The set of three brushes has allowed me to keep one in my camera bag, one in my desk and one in the workshop so they are superb value for money.

They’re plastic bodied with a push out brush at one end and a double sided head at the other. The listing states that one end is round and the other square, but on my brushes it’s a round end and triangular end. The triangular end really helps to get in to all the nooks and crannies and the round head does a great job on larger areas. I’m not sure if these tips are replaceable so need to look in to that.

Between the pads and the brush, this really is a well thought out cleaning pen (Although I’m not quite sure about the suction cap) and a very welcome addition to my cleaning kit.

These pens are a great alternative to other lens cleaning products where there are 4 different options in one. There are 3 in the pack, which is perhaps not needed but I like knowing I can take one away on holiday with my camera and not worry if I lose it or break it.
One end of the pen holds a mini double ended cleaning pad- one has a circle shape and one a triangle shape which helps depending on what you are cleaning, especially getting into any corners (eg. the viewing port of camera). This little item slots into the end of the pen and a lid clicks on over it to keep it clean.
The other end of the pen has the brush. Half of the brush is already extended and can be used when you need it to be a bit more stiff, but then there’s a slider that moves the rest of the brush out so it’s longer and more flexible for dusting. There is a lid that clicks on over the brush to keep it clean. On the end of the lid is a suction cap for pulling off more resistant dust. My main niggle is that there is no lid/cap to go over the suction cap when not in use. I’m not likely to use that because I can’t prevent it getting dirty wherever it’s being stored or kept during transport. Additionally, the suction cap is slightly wider than the rest of the lid so if not kept in a suitable place, it’s likely to get bent/warped which will impact the suction ability. All this needs is a secondary lid to cover the suction cap.
All of the options seem to do their cleaning job well and I’d feel confident being out for a day with my camera with only this and maybe a couple of lens cleaning wipes.

On first seeing this product I noticed it’s made by K&F Concept. A company which makes good wallet friendly products beloved by youtubers. So I instantly knew this would be a good and I wasn’t downhearted when I got to play with it.

Especially as this is a 3 pack for just under 15 quid (at time of order). So I can afford to buy one pack and stick these in different kitbags and flightcases. That way I’ll always have a lens cleaner to hand.

What’s even better is these do a really good job. Simply pull of the rubber cap, extend the brush using the red button and (along with a puffer) you can remove loose dust in seconds. One nice touch here is the red button locks into position after being moved.

At the other end, protected by a hard plastic cap, is a very flexible dry cleaning pad. I’m not sure what material it’s made from, just that it doesn’t need any liquid. Mainly, even when the lens has a protective coating, I know each brush will do a grand job of cleaning fingerprints and smudges off lenses.

After I’m done getting dirt off the lenses, I can easily retract the brush and add the caps back on. Then I can use the side clip and store this in my jacket like a big pen. Which makes me happy and if I’m happy I take better photos.

And these work on more than cameras, they also work on binoculars, telescopes, mobile camera lens, action camera cases and even spectacles. They also do a good job on the rear screens of DSLR’s.
So if you need to clean your lenses, this one is well worth trying.

I do street photography on mobile phone, and it is so easy to no realise your lenses are properly clean, only to notice the telltale signs when you bring back your roll to your big screen for editing.
Well, with one of these pens in my pocket, no fear to have any more.
They come as fat pens, with a pocket clip. On each side there are caps (weirdly enough, on the brush side there is a sucker, haven’t found a single use for that), remove them and you have access to a super soft, slide out brush for dust, and on the other you have the cleaners (a round and a triangular one, just pull the element and switch to the other side).
it’s simple, highly portable, and super effective, and as you get three in the box, you can easily keep them in your varied kit bags.

This pack of three K&F lens cleaning pens are the perfect accessory for the photographer with multiple lens and camera bags. You can leave a cleaning pen in each camera bag so it’s always available.

The lens cleaning pen has a retractable brush on one end, and a carbon lens cleaning pad on the other. To use the pen start with the brush to remove any surface dust or particles from the lens element, then gently go round with the carbon lens cleaning pad. I’ve been using these types of pens for several years and find they work well for most common kinds of dust. However if you get sand on the lens or caked on mud you need to remove that and the grit before using the carbon cleaning pad.

As shipped the K&F lens cleaning pen has a round carbon cleaning pad, but it can be pulled from the body to reveal a second triangular shaped pad that is great to get in to the corners of viewfinders.

This is a review for the K&F Concept Lens Cleaning Pen.

I ordered this set for two specific purposes. Firstly to clean my camera and binocular lens and secondly for cleaning components inside my PC. With lens cleaning, I used the pens as the manufacturer describes and they did a good job. They proved particularly useful on a pair of compact binoculars which had previously resisted all attempts to be cleaned. With the PC, I only used the brush head, using it after using an air blower.

I think the design of the pens is clever. What would be ideal for working with the PC, would be built in LED light.

I hope you found this review useful.

Great to have a set of 3 cleaning pens as invariably they get lost easily.

The cleaning pen has a set of bristles and felt tips (reversible) to ensure a good clean of your lens or viewfinder.

The bristle brush is exposed by using the red slide button on the side.

Each are protected by a cap to keep clean.

The pen also has a suction cup on one end to help it remain upright or away from dusty/ dirty surfaces.

Also the cleaning pen has a clip to clip it to your pocket or in your camera bag.

Great set for all camera users.

At the risk of sounding like a fanboy I can’t fault anything I have ever used from this company and simple through they may be these are no exception.

Whilst I did receive them for free to review I wouldn’t hesitate paying the 14.99 asking price for these, I have paid similar for 1 in the past, let alone a pack of three..
If you value your kit then these are a no brainer, I shoot both still photography, video and aerial work, keeping my lenses tip top is always a priority and these go some way to wards that, there is absolutely no reason not to have one in each of my various kit bags!

Highly recommended, the simple things are often the best.

You get three identical pens in this set. Each comes with a concave end that is great for getting into the edges of lenses where it may be hard to get a lens cloth. The other end has suction tip that is removable and reveals a retractable brush controlled by a red slider on the pen.

The whole unit does the job well and helps keep your lenses and optics clean.

Note that I personally wouldn’t use the pen on the sensor itself. Also, I’m unclear as to the purpose of the suction end cap.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Value set of Lens Cleaning Pens

  21. Anonymous says:

You get three of these in the box. Each pen has two capped ends, one cap protects the very useful little brush that pops out using the slider on the side. This replaces the soft clean tiny artist’s paintbrush I kept in a little pouch in my camera case for dust and hair. The other end has a little triangular cleaning pad designed to be used dry. On my Canon EF 100-400mm old trombone mk1 lens this appeared to make no difference. Perhaps the lens was already clean though. It did clean my phone camera lens well. These are well-made little cleaning pens that don’t take up a lot of room. The price isn’t bad. They are a handy size, and the brushes will get used. I’m not so sure about the pad for my camera lenses. For phone lenses and other smaller-sized ones they seem to be OK. For my camera lenses, I’d be inclined to stick with my specialist soft cloth and lens cleaner solution.

I shoot a lot of motorsport which is sometimes in dusty conditions. So having a device like this in my bag is essential (along with an air blower).

Quality wise these are fairly well made, the brush moves in and out easily and the double ended tip is simple to switch around and can help it a variety of situations. I did find the tip to be a little unstable due to the fact that it is removable, my old lens pen was a solid design and didn’t have this issue, they’re still usable but just feel a little odd compared to what I’m used to.

The suction cup lid is a little odd, I’m not exactly sure what scenario that would be useful in if I’m honest. Either way it keeps the brush clean and safe from damage when in your bag.

Overall these are good value, especially being a 3 pack as you can keep one in your bag and have spares in case you lose it.

I got the K&F Concept Lens Cleaning Pen, 3 PCS Two-in-One Function with Cleaning Brushes & Carbon Tips, Suitable for Camera Lens and Filter Cleaning product from this page – a 3 pack of their entry level, plastic body, pen cleaning tool kit. There’s a one pack as well listed above when I write this.

This is the multi-tool you can carry in the UK and the police can’t really complain much. You’re getting a three pack of these and as far as I can see, they don’t sell replacement heads for their range of similar pens so it feels like these are considered disposable. That screams single use plastic and I’m not a fan of that really, especially as they sell a higher end aluminium pen with more attachments/heads. Why not just treat the pen like a screwdriver, get yourself a pen that stores and mounts heads, and sell replacement, recyclable heads? You’d think that would go down well with a lot of photographers who spend a lot of time in natural environments.

Anyway, this is a three pack so either you recognise that these cleaning tools are going to get dirty and you can’t clean the tool itself well enough to guarantee it won’t damage your lens, or you need enough to have one to hand in multiple spaces. If you’re cleaning a lens, the last thing you need is to transfer dirt back to it because the cleaning item itself is now dirty and greasy, or worse, scratch it, so disposability makes sense from that point of view. It’s also the type of thing you might want in multiple camera bags, to be sure you don’t go out without one.

It’s got several tools in this version – the 3 PCs Lens Cleaning Pen. There’s a suction sucker on a cap that conceals and protects the brush. I honestly do not know what that’s for, it feels like they ran out of ideas, put it there and their picture shows the pen hanging off a window. So… maybe it’s for precisely that so you can stand by windows, take photos, and quickly grab your pre-prepared cleaning pen while taking a lot of photos in a dirty environment next to a window? I couldn’t find an explanation in the description when I wrote this review, so yeah, maybe they should add one.

Anyway, as a cap that does protect the brush, which is also hidden inside the pen by the sliding switch. I really didn’t get that combination, because it makes no sense and they haven’t explained it in their description. There is no manual to explain it either.

What’s the point of hiding a brush with the weird suction cap/pen cap combo, and also retracting it? I could not for the life of me figure it out until I spoke to my father who has a similar one. He said, if you push the slider out a little way, the bristles are effectively shorter and therefore stiffer. Extend it fully and they’ve got more play. So that’s the explanation and kudos to him for figuring that out because they did not explain this themselves. To me, it just looked like a totally redundant mechanism that did nothing useful. If I were them, I would make that a selling point and at least describe it.

While they’re at it, they definitely need to justify the suction cup. Perhaps there’s a thing people use that for? Without a manual that explains why, how would anyone know? I don’t see a reason to stick it to a window. There may well be a reason for it to exist, and if so, it’s a selling point they’re not really using. Even if it’s just fun to stick things to smooth surfaces with suction cups when you’re that bored.

The brush is quite fat, flexible bristles which seem a good balance of stiffness and therefore can flick dust and specks off things and I see no reason why it should scratch anything. As above, it turns out you can control the length and stiffness so that may help with your dusting.

The other end has a pen cap style lid and a reversible insert with a circular carbon tipped pad on one end, and a triangular one on the other end. You just pull them out, and since it’s silicon it’s a friction fit.

There is a pen clip so you can clip it in a pocket if you want. Which is fine, not that I imagine many people using it.

I would prefer to see a more environmentally friendly version of this, with a tool body for life, and replaceable heads with relevant recycling instructions. As it happens in my area such stuff would get incinerated, which is better than nothing but in many places I suspect it ends up in landfill. But realistically since they have all these heads in their various products, like screwdriver bits, that’s how this should work. One range of heads, works in all their pen bodies, recyclable, available as spares. Heck, you can sell the cleaning case that holds pen, cloth, liquid, wipes, heads etc.

It’ll do the job you want it for, and other than the dubious recyclability it’s basically fine. Not a standout product but it should do the job. At the time of getting it, the three pack offered a big discount per pen over their single offering, which is good. It’d make a good stocking filler for a family who all have cameras I suppose.

I suggest they do the following. 1) explain what the sucker is for, and if you can’t ditch it, it has to have a function or it’s manufactured waste 2) sell attachments in packs so people can replace dirty ones 3) provide recycling information/encourage that 4) point out the mechanism lets you adjust brush stiffness because no review I could see mentions this and I feel like I’m not the only one who didn’t figure that out themselves, not all the customers will realise this is a deliberate feature 5) give some information about the heads – are they disposable when dirty, or can you clean them and should you, or do you not because at a certain point they become a risk to your lenses?

This is fine for the basic version though, and their other ones do offer a wider range of heads for cleaning stuff like earbuds which need different heads and probably get a lot more disgusting than lenses. If they do sell those separately, great but I couldn’t see it on their store page or this multi product page.

Wow I am dazzled writing this as I have just used it on this screen and it is now shiny clean.
At first glance I thought three of the same in one package but actually when I think how many items I have with screen and camera it will be good to have this compact but multi function lens pen nearby to each device. I tried each head on my screen and it was amazing to see the difference and to have particularly the triangle design to get right into the rim of the lens. I found the dirt collected easily wiped off the heads with the aid of a soft cloth. It was so easy to use and on a large surface too. The little retractable brush soon whisked away any fibre and dust. I am very pleased with the results and the product a bargain at the price and for three pens.

    PROS
-super-useful double-ended cleaning head (concave for lenses, flat & triangular for filters, LCDs, viewfinders)
-brush a useful tool, and it at least gets covered by the weird suction cup (my earlier lens cleaning pens didn’t have any protection for the brush, not that they needed it).
    -pretty good value

    CONS
    -random suction cup is random

    NOTES
-I’ve been using cleaning pens like this for well over a decade, they are an excellent tool (along with a blower bulb). This double-sided version is particularly useful, and I’m very happy to have ordered a triple pack.
-I have no idea what the suction cup is for. To act as a pen-stand, maybe? (but what am I going to stick it to, my monitor, a close by window, a filter, my coffee cup?). I can’t see how it would be involved in cleaning anything (you can’t suction-cup dirt or oils off a lens).

    MY STAR RATINGS:
    1* substandard, mostly cons
2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros
3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros
4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons
5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

According to the box label these are “air blower.” In the product details on Amazon it describes it as “Air Blower*3.”

There is no air blowing at all.

Some reviews state that is has a metal body, mine doesn’t, they are very definitely black plastic.

So, you get three of them and they have a retractable soft brush on one end, covered with a cap that has a suction cup on the end. I am not sure what the point of the suction cup is! There is a picture of it in the product details sticking the “pen” to a window, why?!

On the other end under a cap is a felt pad for getting into the crevices around the edge of a lens. This is reversible to give a larger one. The large one is pretty small so using it to clean the lens surface is a bit tedious.

It works, does the job, but I can’t help thinking I am better off with my blower brush and soft cloth. Where this scores I guess is the small felt pads to get into the edges.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis cleaning pen is great at getting my camera lenses back to clean again. Using a cloth and other cleaning materials just didn’t get into the corners or edges of my lenses or viewfinder, the shape of the tip of this cleaning pen gets right where the cloth couldn’t get.
It removes any marks and fingerprints and also great on the rear display. Highly recommended.
