    quasi perfetto....

Very nice, compact, light tripod for excellent price.

I wanted a portable tripod for carrying on walks that would also work with my camera carrying clip (Peak Design Capture). This wasn’t stated in the tech details and the K&F website is a bit vague. I need not have worried. The other clip fits quite snugly, although it is a little larger (~ 1mm).

Weight in its bag is a shade under 1.2kg. Bag is 40 cm long.

As a professional photographer, I recently invested in the Heavy Duty Camera Tripod, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer for my photography ventures.
First and foremost, let’s talk about stability. This tripod is built like a tank, with sturdy construction that provides rock-solid support for my camera gear. Whether I’m shooting in windy conditions, uneven terrain, or crowded spaces, I can trust this tripod to keep my camera steady and secure, eliminating any risk of camera shake or blurred images.
But what really sets this tripod apart is its versatility. With adjustable legs and a multi-angle central column, I can easily position my camera at any height or angle for the perfect shot. Whether I’m shooting low-angle landscapes, high-angle portraits, or anything in between, this tripod gives me the flexibility I need to unleash my creativity and capture stunning images.
In terms of durability, this tripod is built to last. The heavy-duty materials and robust design mean it can withstand the rigors of professional use, from regular shoots in the studio to adventurous outings in the great outdoors. I’ve put it through its paces in all kinds of environments, and it still looks and performs like new, making it a reliable companion for all my photographic endeavors.
Another standout feature of this tripod is its ease of use. The quick-release mounting plate and intuitive locking mechanisms make it easy to set up and adjust on the fly, so I can spend less time fiddling with my gear and more time focusing on capturing the perfect shot. Plus, the padded grips and ergonomic design ensure comfortable handling, even during extended shooting sessions.

I love this tripod. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and has all the essential features you’d want out of a tripod for a great price. My only complaint is that the legs feel slightly cheap when using the clamps and extending them, but for the low price I really can’t complain. It’s nothing that feels like it’ll break soon, but just doesn’t feel premium like a higher-end product.

The mount for the camera is the same as many other accessories, meaning I can keep the same mounting plate on my camera that I use on other mini tripods and monopods and it works just fine with this tripod. There is tons of adjustability with the legs, with 3 extensions and multiple angles you can choose from for each leg. This comes in super handy if you want the camera to be mounted low to the ground, because you can angle the legs to be very flat. It also comes in handy if you’re on very uneven ground, because you can adjust the lengths and angles of the legs to work however you need them to.

Overall this tripod is fantastic, especially for the price. I highly recommend this to anyone, especially those new to photography. This tripod packs lots of useful features for a very affordable price!

This is the modern version of the tripod that also comes with a clamp for phones. The clamp fits my iPhone15 Pro perfectly, and it can hold a bigger phone as well because the clamp can expand to a really wide opening (not to the iPad size of course). There is leveling indicator, which normally does not exist on cheap tripods. The knobs for various angles and positions all work perfectly. I have not found the knob to stop the “rotation” of the head, but I can live with not having one. The extension of legs and the center piece can extend to a very long/high position. I am happy with that. The only thing I would complain is the Desiccant packages. One of the two has broken and I am worried about kids swallowing those little gel-balls that can cause poisoning. But, this could be just an incident of using cheap Desiccant packages in the bag.

This is a very lightweight tripod. Perfect for throwing in a pack to take on hikes, etc, BUT—and it’s a big but—it’s not that stabile. If you’re willing to completely forgo the center column, and leave it in the full down position, but with both column locks tightened down, it gets considerably better—and I would consider it usable. It also improves (again, with the column fully lowered) if you hang a weight (say, the backpack it was in) from the hook under the column.

Now—this means you get a maximum height of about 47 inches, not the 64 that is the full maximum. On the other hand, that’s about what I get with my 6x more expensive travel tripod also—because again, it’s not fully stabile (although it is a good bit more stabile that the K&F) with it’s center column raised. Note: if you really only look at your photos on a phone or tablet, and want something for group shots, etc.—then this may be all the tripod you will ever need, and even with the column at full height, it’ll be fine.

With that warning aside, this is what you do get:

A case! Not mentioned in the ad, or photos.

The ball head locks down well. The clamp range (for the Arca compatable clamp) is not wide, but it is wide enough to work with most rails, etc. The head has a pan feature, with a lock, but it is very stiff to turn when unlocked. I do not see this as a major problem, but a bit easier panning would be nice.

The writeup mentions the tubing design, and it is indeed clever, and smart engineering. Besides keeping the telescoping tubing from rotating, the crimps allow the tubing to act as though it is thicker walled, so a bit more stabile. The flip locks are all very tight, and do a good job. The rest of the hardware—pivots, leg angle stops, etc. all work fine.

For $60, you get a functioning tripod. But, a very lightweight one, that is just not as ideally solid as you want a tripod to be. If you do need a tripod, and you think you’ll be taking pictures for any length of time, tripods are one of the few accessories that you don’t need to keep updating—basically, a good tripod can really be a lifetime investment. If K&F can do this for $60, I’m sure what they offer at $80 and $100 are good options. This is the first K&F product that hasn’t wowed me—but I also didn’t expect a $60 tripod to be even as nice as this one is. (I currently have my hiking tripod in use with a music studio set up, as a very adjustable support stand, and am planing on using this as a substitute for that one, so I can get back to using it with my cameras.)
