This is a great little camera for kids. My daughter has hardly put it down since she got it and took loads of instant photos of her & her friends at her birthday party. Don’t expect outstanding quality picture but it’s certainly enough for a child and their friends/family to have great fun with. Definitely worth it in my opinion!
The Kids Camera is a delightful addition to any child’s toy collection, earning a solid four-star rating. Designed with young photographers in mind, this camera offers a range of features that make it both entertaining and educational for children aged 3 years and above.
One of the highlights of this camera is its 1080P HD resolution and 16x digital zoom, allowing kids to capture crisp and clear photos with ease. Whether they’re documenting family outings or exploring their surroundings, the camera encourages creativity and imagination.
The inclusion of a 32GB memory card ensures ample storage space for hundreds of photos, while the three rolls of print paper allow kids to instantly print and share their favorite snapshots. This instant gratification adds an extra layer of excitement to the photography experience.

While the Kids Camera offers plenty of fun and entertainment, some users may find that the print quality of the instant photos could be improved for better clarity and color reproduction. Additionally, the camera’s battery life could be longer to ensure uninterrupted playtime.
Overall, the Kids Camera is a fantastic toy that encourages creativity, exploration, and imagination in young children. Its combination of functionality, durability, and entertainment value make it a wonderful gift for birthdays, Christmas, or any special occasion, earning a solid four-star rating.
Pictures come out black and white
Great for the kids to stick on a pin board with friends and family
Had for birthday so all friends got a picture
Extra paper aswell but still not used first one loads on it
Wish I had one as a child
This children’s camera is very robust as it comes with a protective cover which helps to make it bounce prof.
When you take pictures you are able to instantly print them or select the ones in your gallery to print.
Like the majority of children’s camera’s this one come with games on it. Great to keep little ones entertained.
The quality also isnt half bad.
Unlike traditional cameras, this one prints photos instantly. Seeing her creations come to life right away fuel my child’s imagination and encourage her to take even more pictures. No more waiting for downloads or printed photos-the magic happens instantly. The 1080P HD resolution ensures crisp and clear photos, capturing all those precious moments in detail. Even close-up selfies with the front-facing camera look fantastic. The included 6 colour pens allow for instant personalisation and artistic expression. My child loves drawing on her printed photos, turning them into unique keepsakes. The 2.4″ screen is just the right size for small hands to comfortably hold and view photos. Plus, the intuitive controls make it easy for kids to navigate and operateindependently.
My child has had great fun with this camera. We were able to get it up and running really quickly and were printing photos within minutes. Being able to print photos is the main joy, but also using the different filters/backgrounds available, and the various simple electronic games included.
The printed photos are in black and white and clearly made up of dots – these are not photo quality like the Fuji Instax but they are also not as good quality as other cameras like this for a similar price, perhaps slightly more – so worth comparing with others. It hasn’t stopped my child from liking it though. One advantage of this type of camera over the Fuji Instax is that this uses thermal paper rolls, which print loads of photos and are much cheaper to replace than the specialist photo paper for ‘proper’ instant cameras that produce more photo-quality images.
The style of packaging says it all…’FUN’!!
Simple setup, a quick read of the instructions on how to turn the print feature on and off and away you go!!
My 4yr old spent a whole afternoon taking pictures and printing, he ran out of paper!!
He was slightly disappointed the pictures don’t print as stickers, rather on flimsy receipt type paper.
You may need to adjust settings, the first few pic were very grainy, almost illegible! A tweak of a setting fixed this to slightly better quality!!
Overall a fun little camera that you’ll not be scared of them breaking!!!
The kid’s camera comes ready to go with a 32GB memory card already inserted in the slot and the 3 thermal rolls for printing the photos. Two are in the package and One role comes fitted in the camera. It’s easy to install new roll.
It’s easy to operate, works well, and has intuitive controls, but a small manual is also included, which is precise and to the point. It also has four easy games for kids to play.
The camera has photo and video modes where you can switch the photo mode, filters, zoom and experiment with the camera. It also has some cutout photos of parks, rides and many more. Kids can instantly print the photos on thermal paper. It doesn’t need ink.
It comes with a strap so that kids can hang this camera for a long day out. Six colour pens are included to fill in the colors in the photos. The photo quality is not as fine as I would expect from a 1080p camera.
The display is reasonably big in size. The photos are thermal prints so I don’t expect them to be finely printed.
Considering the fact that it is also a photo printer, I would not mind the size (which I felt was big for kids) of the camera and I think kids would definitely love to carry, use and play with it.

I originally ordered a kids instant print camera for my granddaughter as a Christmas stocking filler.
When she opened it she immediately fell in love with it as did my wife which then saw me ordering a second for her, and now we have a 3rd for me.
Why?
My wife and I are both photographers with many thousands of pounds worth of equipment yet this camera offers something that can’t be had from any of our others, a bucket load of fun.
The images produced on the thermal paper are very low quality and, obviously, only black and white, but they do have a charm about them, so much so that we are now working on a project with a view to exhibiting at some time going forward, if you think fine art as opposed to documentary you may understand what I’m saying.
That said, if you want this for kids then they should be more than happy, not only can they get instant gratification by printing, they can also save the images to be printed on photo paper if required on the included TF card.
The camera has a bunch of stuff built in that I will never touch that is aimed at children, you can read more about that in the product description.
One thing of note, my first image had 3 parallel lines running the length of it, this is common and easily fixed (hopefully).
If you check the print head you should find the source of the problem, in my case 3 specs of dirt, as soon as I cleaned them off the lines vanished.
Have fun, I will.
Insant cameras sure came back a couple of years ago and a lot of brands are bringing out new models that were thought extinct a few years ago. This camera is joining the party offering a much lower price compared to big brand options with the additional benefit of saving the photos digitally.
The camera is designed for kids and the size reflects this. It’s a compact camera, but offers a decent size screen to help compose the image. The actual sensor and lens combination is nothing to write home about. It can take passable photos in brightly lit conditions but once the light levels drop picture quality suffers greatly. It is unlikely to bother children though. The video quality is similar, it’s okay to watch these videos on the camera screen, but watching them on the tv will reveal the issues. Then again I doubt many would watch these videos on a big screen. The ergonomics are good, the buttons are logically laid out as well as the menu. It’s easy to navigate and the screen has a good resolution for the intended purposes. There is a 32gb memory card included as well as 3 rolls of thermal paper for printing. Printing is only possible in black and white. A couple more accessories is included, like a lanyard, coloured markers etc.
The camera offers an mp3 player as well as some games, so it can become an entertainment powerhouse especially for kids who don’t have other devices. All in all it’s a fun little camera that can be had for half the price of a big brand alternative, although the picture quality will be lacking. An appealing proposition for children.
Like other reviews say, it is not the best, not the worst, yet for me (and little person) this will do us just fine. Said little person is obsessed with seeing a picture when it has been taken at the moment, so I figured it may be fun to do some picture taking himself, and then print some pictures too, and this ticks all the boxes for sure.
It comes with the memory card installed, at the front where you charge it, as well as one roll of printing paper plus 2 more, and some felt tip pens, (nanny is in charge of them me thinks),and a lanyard (not breaksafe FYI, but easily changed as you don’t need to use it), and charging cable and info booklet.
After a brief play about with settings, I was off and printing kitty, and he did come out well, but then decided to hunt it down and shred it (data protection I am guessing).
I really do look forward to seeing the expressions I get at the weekend when little person comes to stay, frankly cannot wait (we will be sharing the camera me thinks….)
I like the concept of this camera,it great for keeping a momento or a diary entry. It’s very pink !
I’m not sure who it’s actually marketed at its definitely a novelty picture quality is reasonable once you get the settings right .
I’ve had clearer pictures without the lines ,I think the camera was cold .
Overall it’s a good camera
Complete with memory card 3 rolls of thermal paper and pens.
This little camera and printer all in one is a great idea for kids to play with taking photos then printing them out and colouring them in.
The camera/printer is a really good size with it being easy for kids to hold in their hands and yet still have a big screen and a printer all built in. I love the screen design with the easy-to-read icons and options so kids can move around to take, edit and print photos with little guidance.
The colour screen is good for seeing photos you are taking and have taken while the buttons below it makes moving around the menus quite easy when you get the hang of it.
The front facing camera is good enough quality for kids although I question its 1080p claim for videos, but the pictures do come out quite clear and good colour reproduction.
It’s charged via the modern and universal USB-C port and cable which is good, and I did find battery life to be pretty good with about 4 hours of use per 1hour charge but that all depends on what mode you have it in or how much printing you are doing.
Printing is fun and easy once you have got the roll loaded up and in place, it’s all black and white so some images don’t come out that well, but most are fairly good, and I like the fact that in total you get 3 rolls of printing paper included along with some colouring pens so that can colour the pictures in.
Overall, it’s a good fun digital camera and printer, which priced at 31.98 is good value as it is a printer and camera which comes with 3 rolls of paper.
Arrived as part of the Amazon vine review programme.
My friend’s little girl would not put this down once she realised what it can do.
Pros:
Pictures images are actually quite good (I mean it’s no Pentax but is quite good).
Arrived charged and ready to go.
Games (snake, breaktrhu) were particularly popular – a real bonus.
Print quality ok (is B&W thermal) but kids didn’t care – they loved colouring them in AND you get two extra rolls!
Cons:
Is a little heavy (and bulky for the smaller hands) for the littler ones so was dropped a few times (hence 4*) but it survived to live on!
Conclusion:
For the money, I think it’s a good kiddy camera. It’s neat, prints ok but the colouring pens were the real hit with the youngest ones.
Thanks AMZ
This is like a polaroid camera that prints out pictures through its thermal printer directly at the back which makes it cheaper than a polaroid as most films that i can find locally are expensive. Although, a downside to this is that all the pictures would come out in black and white which in my opinion gives it a certain charm
Came with a total of 3 thermal paper rolls with one already in the camera and in the correct orientation so all i had to do was pull the paper towards the opening to set up the printer properly. Putting in new paper is very easy that even kids could do it all on their own
Has multiple functions aside from the camera like video, mp3, and even games; though none of them get used as the kids do have their phones and those have better cameras and games. The ability to immediately print out a picture and post it on their walls or collages is what they use this camera for
Lanyard is strong and isn’t too long for a small child’s neck which nicely drops down to around their stomach area. It even has a button that detaches part of the lanyard which turns into a keychain ring to quickly hook up to a carabiner on the side of a bag
Added coloured marker pens were a great addition that they used on their collage. The pens were small but had lot of ink except for the green which was somehow completely dried up
Included are a photo of our cat and a photo of the photo of our cat. You can see that the quality of the JPG is quite good and the print is very nice! However, when you use the zoom function the quality drops sharply, as the third photo shows. Video quality is ok at best, it looks a lot like my phone’s videos 16 years ago but it does at least handle lower light, and the built in light can make a difference to both photos and videos. There’s no zooming with the video but that’s not a bad thing – not only is the zoom a bit ropey but the microphone picks up every single click of the clicky, clicky buttons.
Speaking of the buttons, it’s hard to figure out what they all do, as they have moulded legends that are completely invisible when you look at them straight on. You have to hold it at an angle and peer at them for a moment to make anything out – I think we’ll have to add a bit of acrylic paint to make it easier to understand.
And as far as we can tell, there’s no way of preventing the time/date from being in the corner of every photo and video. I’ve scoured the settings and we’ve looked through the (actually quite good) manual but there’s no way I can find.
But when it comes down to it, this is mainly for kids to take photos and print them out, and it does that really well, so it gets four stars as a result.
