This is fairly easy to use – I’m rubbish with my hands but after watching the how to video I can get this on and the baby in it fairly easy. It’s useful for if you’re walking around with baby and don’t want to/can’t take the pram. This was useful after my C section as I couldn’t lift a pram or car seat but could carry my newborn in this. Whenever he is in the sling he falls asleep.
The sling is washable and comes in a little bag you can keep it in.
I absolutely love how easy this is to use and makes popping out so convenient as we live in a flat and don’t alway bring the car seat or buggy into the house.
My daughter loves being in this and seems to be very supported and comfortable.
Fabric is strong and seems to be well made.
I wanted a sling as the weather is getting nicer and can’t really take a push chair on beaches or woodlands, I’ve used this around the house and used to pop to the corner shop definitely easier when you’re on your own to just Nip out. I’d give 5 stars but I’m quite petite and think it could do with being a little tighter or have an extra strap to support baby, but nevertheless it does support my little one and she she falls asleep in i
I researched different slings and this looked like it would be easy to use and I’m really glad in chose it. It’s really easy to get the hang of and my baby girl loves it and sleeps comfortably in it. Definitely recommend.
This Koala sling was and is a life saver when our baby is fussy and nothing else helps him calming down. I cannot tell how many nights I have used the sling. The closeness of baby and mummy makes a huge different.
This is one of the best baby items I’ve bought so far.
Had to watch a few videos to understand how to wrap my baby safely into the sling but after a few trials it’s very easy and does not take long to do nor is it complicated.
Lovely sling really easy to use and wash. Little one seems comfortable in it, more so that more modern style baby carriers that I had with my first. Am able to move around easily and play with toddler while wearing newborn. Would recommend.
Never used a sling before so wanted the easiest first time sling, this looked ideal with it already been pre tied! I just say after having my 3rd baby I don’t know why I’ve just discovered them. It does exactly as it’s intended to do.
Still unsure if I have it done correctly but practice makes perfect. Deffo reccomend this to anyone who is after a baby sling
I ordered this before my baby was born as I wanted something easy and supportive. I have used nearly every day it since day 2, now 8 weeks. We both love it! He sleeps like a dream in it and it’s weightless to wear. He’s only a little 8lb, bit gutted it only goes to 9lb but would highly recommend it. Also I have an extremely refluxy baby and it holds up in the wash and tumble dryer very well!
I loved this sling. I needed one that I could use, easily, on my own, for my 10 week old Grandson. The Koala Babycare Baby Sling, ticked every box. Easy to put on and take off, unaided and he loves it. I can get on with jobs, or go out, while he’s tucked up, mainly asleep, but he’s happy in the sling even when he’s awake and is safely protected from his very loving, toddler brother. I can even sit down, if I have the time. Thank you Koala Babycare for making my life much easier.
I bought this because my baby loves being worn and often will only settle in a sling, but the stretchy wrap I had before was taking too long to put on and off (and I never could manage to work out how to feed him in it, so I’d have to take it off for every feed). This one is so much more convenient and easy to use. I was concerned that being plus size (18-20) it wouldn’t fit, but it definitely does and would fit someone a fair few sizes bigger than me too, as there’s plenty of fabric spare.
Super easy to use, ready tied. Easy to put on, our baby in and take off. Allows you to be completly hands free whilst baby feels very safe and secure.
Perfect for the newborn stage, great value for money.
This was a lifesaver at getting baby to sleep during the first 3 months of his life. Very easy to put on alone, only negative I doubted whether the position was that good for baby’s back. I wouldn’t use it out the house either as again worried about the support during long periods of time. It become a bit tight after 3 months and we moved onto a sturdy carrier but done the job for short while.
This is absolutely amazing and totally worth the investment. My little one fells asleep in 5 mins and loves it. It’s soft, cosy and very easy to put on (unlike the other bands it literally wears as a T-shirt). 100% recommend. I did a lot of research before buying and also tried a few ones this is far the best.
I loved my koala wrap, or the parts I received should I say, the material was great for my small newborn but I did only receive 1 part, when I messaged them to rectify they told me to buy it again and they’d refund 10%, meaning I’d of spent 85 total to get the same thing I should’ve received first time, but other than that, the wrap was lovely and I imagine very supportive with all the correct pieces, shame really as I use my current carrier daily so it would’ve been well used
Edit : they have since messaged me and it turns out I bought from a company called BWSUPPLIES which apparently wasn’t selling genuine products, I have since received a wrap directly from them and the quality is 10/10 and design is a lot different, this wrap feels good quality
I have tried wraps before, but as this one seems to be a ‘pre made’ wrap and it goes over your head like a teeshirt, so so easy to use when you get the hang of it. When my little one is unsettled, I pop it on, pop him into it and settle him easily, he falls asleep almost instantly and I even cooked dinner before with him in it. Went to a zoo and walked the day wearing my baby. It’s what I go to if I need to hold him and do something at the same time. So glad I found this wrap. It’s comfortable when fitted properly, not too tight, not too loose. Instructions are good to understand. Still I needed some practice to use it but I’m now a pro! I would really recommend this wrap to any parents I know. When I was walking a lot wearing it, my back didn’t get sweaty. Baby had a lot of air pockets and it was a win win for us.
Bought this for our baby who is suffering Colic – Making lying down very uncomfortable for him.
With this we can keep him upright while he sleeps which helps reduce the impact of mucus and the side effects of Colic. He loves the carrier and falls asleep almost as soon as he goes in.
It’s easy to set up just a case of pulling it over your head. My only concern was with the back support piece that ties underneath baby’s bottom, I was concerned it might be too tight across baby’s legs when tied but you really don’t have to tie it that tight for it to support the baby.
I am able to get jobs done round the house while holding our little one in this and I would highly recommend, I’m so glad I chose this type of carrier rather than one that you have set all up everytime.
The side rings work perfect and are stable so they never come undone.
I am really impressed with the quality of this baby carrier and with the ease of using it, so much so that I will likely purchase a second one as I find myself wanting to use one at home and have one always in the bag with me for when I go out. When baby is fussy in the pram, having this carrier at hand means I can pick baby up and hold her without needing help with the pram, which is very important for me. My baby is very comfortable in there, as she is secure but is as the fabric is not rigid she can comfortably put herself in a comfy position.
What’s useful to know if you’re considering buying this, is that if like me you don’t want the strap to be too tight on baby’s head, the carrier will allow you to decide how tight or how loose you want to have it, withiur cimpromising on safety, which is great, just keep in mind less tight means if baby falls asleep you may want to keep a hand on their little head (or tighten up, I personally feel baby is more comfortable when there is a little bit of room).
I love this baby carrier and definitely recommend it: it’s perfect if you’re considering what to get and are not sure whether to go for something rigid or for a sling, as this is the perfect compromise: as many have said, it is soft and comfy for the baby, so they’ll likely love it, and it’s super easy to put on without need for help. Just buy it, you won’t regret it!
Koala Babycare Sling-
This is an absolute essential with a newborn I would be so lost without it! I bought this when my second baby (8 weeks old) was a week old, as my first born son is only two and it gave me my hands free to be spending my time with him, cooking, cleaning and just getting about around the house, I also use it on the food shop and have used it outside for a couple of small walks to the park, and taking my toddler to his usual classes.
I previously had a wrap sling which I had to tie around myself which I was uncomfortable with as I wanted baby to feel properly secure and I just wasn’t confident with doing so. That’s when I purchased this ready made wrap, it is so easy to put on, just wear it like a t shirt and so easy to put baby in, and most importantly I feel confident she is well supported in there.
Another great thing about this as soon as my baby is popped in she soothes so quickly and can sleep in there for ages comfortable happy and close to me while I can carry on doing other things while still cuddling my baby.
I’ve recommended this to other mums already it’s been amazing especially when having another young child it’s allowed me to ease the mum guilt and give both of my children the attention they need at the same time.
It’s very comfortable to wear and has a good padded back support, it is a comfy stretchy material for baby to be in, and can be washed in the machine.
5 stars from me I couldn’t be without it. I would score this 100 if I could!
I really love this carrier, its fit me since day 1 postpartum and i’m a size 22/24, its really stretchy, and baby loves being in it. If you haven’t used a wrap before then it’s tricky the first time trying to figure out how baby actually goes in the wrap, it took me a few tries to get him in there correctly, once he was in right though it was really comfy and he went to sleep within a few minutes, and he has done every time I’ve used this. I wear the wrap almost every day to do household chores and have recently started using it outside the house to go round shops. I much prefer this to a normal baby carrier but in contrast my boyfriend prefers a normal baby carrier to this, so make sure you know what you like!
A bonus with this is when correctly adjusted I don’t get back pain, my little one was 4kg at birth, and is now 5kg and it’s still pain free, I also used this straight after a c section as it doesn’t sit near the incision and I feel it doesn’t put any additional pressure on it either.
I’m so happy I found this sling!! Our baby suffers badly with silent reflux and wants to he held upright all the time… this was really starting to drain on me so I went on the lookout for a sling. I borrowed various different ones from friends but the material went on for miles and they were so complicated to work out how to put it on. Then I came across this on amazon, it had great reviews and unlike so many others on the market was reasonably priced. I thought I would give it a whirl and I honestly haven’t looked back!
This sling is sooooo easy to put on, you can do it quickly by yourself (even with a crying baby!) Literally, it is so quick and easy and completely uncomplicated, exactly what you need it to be. Then once it is on baby slots in nicely. Our son is so comfortable in it, it holds him in position well and feels totally safe. For me, it has seen the return of my sanity as I now have hands free to wash and sterilise bottles, do some household chores and more importantly sit down and eat some lunch! For our son, it pacifies him as he is held close to me, keeps him comfortable and safe and allows him to fall asleep peacefully.
Thankyou Koala, you have created a real winner!!
If you are looking for a sling, I promise you, you won’t be disappointed in this one.
In sum, I think this is an excellent product and it’s been greatly beneficial to our family and needs.
From a more detailed view, I needed something to help me carry my baby (6 months old) due to living with a widespread and severe fibromyalgia (particularly affecting my back, hips, knees and arms/hands), I needed something to aid me holding my baby as comfortably as possible. I needed lightweight and easy to get on with minimal knot tying/clasps/buttons etc. If the product could also be worn by my husband that was a bonus.
When born, I used a kangaroo care top which I loved as it held her close and took much of the weight off my hands. She’s now longer and heavier and while she fits in the top, she is really too long for it so I was looking for something to wear over my own clothes and grow with her. We have an ergobaby carrier which fits my husband but feels to too bulky on my shoulders and I cannot get the back clips done up on my own and it’s also very padded and hot for baby as we come into summer. Slings look comfortable but the formation of wrapping fabric would be difficult for me and I’d be concerned at tying secure knots.
I’d seen an ad for a wrap and thought it was an ideal mix between the sling and bigger carriers. The one I saw was literally two loops of fabric so needed to be perfectly fitted to the wearer so whilst it was best for ease of use it would be no use for my husband and I to both use. It was also 60 so would be a lot for us both to buy one. That’s when I found this product!
This was 30 so half the price of the other one. It comes with a ring pull tightening system so it’s easy for me to use and feels very secure. I’ve not found it to loosen at all when wearing the wrap. It means both my husband and I can wear comfortably (I’m 5’8 size 12 and he is 6’2 and a large T-shirt size). So easy to get on, breathable fabric and cooler and comfortable for baby. Love the additional pocket piece for convenience to place of small items but also as an additional support to baby – this does need a knot tied around but as it’s not the main part holding baby, I’m not fearful of it loosening and compromising baby security. I’ve worn the wrap both with and without this extra part and even without, she feels secure.
The back padding is comfortable even with my condition. I wanted something that could make holding my baby as comfortable and least painful as possible – I’m always going to have a backache but this wrap means I’m able to hold her for longer and more comfortably in terms of back pain and without getting additional pain in my hands/arms. Also leaving hands free to manage another task if needed. I don’t think there is any product on the market which would eliminate pain for those of us with physical difficulty so it’s more about what can be used as an aid – this ticks all my boxes and had been a massive help already.
I noted comments before I bought about concerns using with a baby over 12 weeks. My baby is 6 months and weighs over a stone. She’s not particularly big for her age but also not super small. I find she fitted in this so well, both my husband and I felt she was as secure as in the big bulky carrier. When bending over, I’d always use a hand as added support on her back for safety sake but I generally feel I will be able to use this as she gets bigger and older as it’s flexiable with fitting.
Really really pleased I purchased! I hope this review is helpful for anyone else like me, whose looking for a product not just for style but for a complicated set of needs that’s not easily catered for on the baby market.
