When I first put it on it smelled a bit reading the instructions it says to put it on full heat for 10 minutes to clean it then will be ok I had to put it on 3 times to get rid of smell I had it for some time now still going good and the smell has gone
I purchased this lovely airfryer/cooker last week and was really surprised by how heavy and robust it was for such a compact appliance. I started using immediately and have cooked many different foods in it. I love that you can see your food cooking and the size of this is perfect for 2 people. Easy to clean and the best part is very simple dials to use. Digital ones I often find difficult to navigate so for some one on the older side this is great!. It even has an handle to use to pull out the hot trays. I am so glad purchased this, It will be used as my main oven. Definitely recommend.
I’ve recently moved house. Previously I owned a full sized gas cooker that was hardly used. I sold that prior to moving and decided on a table top oven for my new home. I did my thorough research to find one that wasn’t just an air frier and one that didn’t cost a fortune.
This one I decided to purchase based on description and reviews.
Well, I’ve had it a month nearly and I am incredibly pleased with it. I’ve cooked everything from a family sized Lasagna to fried chicken to toast and lots more inbetween. It has many functions that are incredibly simple to grasp. It warms and bakes like an electric cooker, it air fries and cooks a whole chicken. I’m so pleased with it and it’s look is modern and smart.
I also purchased a counter top 2 ring induction hob, which looks and works great two.
If you purchase this oven, you will in no way be disappointed.
This was bought as an upgrade from a smaller air fryer, and I am so pleased with it. Haven’t done too much, made brilliant chicken on the rotisserie, cooked a pie, baked jacket potatoes. It means I don’t have to turn on the main oven. As I live on my own with a very small income I would not normally cook with the main oven as it is too expensive but this air fryer has changed that. The larger size of the air fryer means a whole meal can be cooked in one go.
Very pleased with this would recommend.
I bought this air-fryer/oven combo May 2023 and although it was a great product it only lasted 8 months and had to be returned in Jan 2024 as it stopped working. I have found the customer service from Amazon to be excellent, although returning a product this size can be a challenge and costly.
For the last few years I have done a regular bake in my glass oven — two 700g (1lb) bread loaves plus a flat 500g cake. Being circular, it did not accommodate rectangular items well. I had to bake each of them in turn. The KeeGone oven enabled me to bake all three together (see photo), saving at least 25% electricity and time. In ‘bake’ mode, the cake at the top baked perfectly. On the lower shelf, the bottoms of the loaves were hard and showed discoloration where they sat close above two heaters. They tasted fine, of course.
In addition to the bundled roasting tray, a second wire rack would be welcome (the HYSapientia rack fits this model). With improved air circulation, my bread might bake better in ‘air fry’ mode when only the top heaters are employed. It is a good-looking oven, not too heavy to carry between a worktop and a storage space and, with practice, I think it will make a useful addition to my small kitchen. Mine had a sticky timer at first, but this issue resolved itself after some manipulation. On full power the oven rated about 1950 watts at 240 volts.
All functions work well, easy to use quite light for its size, does not make a lot of noise.
Must be careful when using as the heat elements are touchable common sense is advised. ( not for children to use )
Iv held of writing a review since August so that I had a true opinion The truth is, I find it to be a complete game changer in cooking quality and time’s! I find it so easy to use/clean that I have only used our gas oven on 2/3 occasions and that was only becauseI couldn’t fit everything in.
Joints of meat/roasted veg have all came out well (as long as you remember to wrap the meat to seal in moisture as it can dry it out). Beige food (chips etc) have all come out cooked to perfection. I tend to use the “bake” function and then finish off using the “air fryer” function……that’s just whst works for me.
If I were to be greedy I would request a slightly larger version to incorporate 3 cooking levels but that is only as I am a family of 5. I feel for a family of 4 or less it would be an adequate size.
***It should be noted that I have only now realised I am missing a rack – annoyed as it would have been helpful.***
I had one of the counter top air fryers with the pull out drawers and used it all the time. It just wasn’t big enough. So I upgraded to this one, it heats up quickly and is far more versatile. I can feed the whole family. Much easier to clean too. I Love it!
We’ve had this a couple of months and fantastic as a mini oven. Doesn’t take up too much space and is easy to clean. I just put the trays in the dish washer after 1 or 2 uses. Then wipe the inside with a damn cloth.
I’ve baked a sponge cake in it, made toast (was ready in less than 2mins) and made roast dinners. Timer is great so if you’re forgetful like me, you won’t burn your meals…. as long as you overestimate the times (it takes half the time you cook in an actual oven so i suggest setting short times and you can extend the timer for a little bit longer if needed).
Very pleased so far with this versatile oven. It did take a couple of introductory heating up sessions to get rid of the chemical smell but since then I have used it for baking, warming, dehydrating and even one attempt at air frying. I wanted an alternative to my (costly to use) propane gas oven mainly for small batch baking and simmering/dehydrating my herbal preparations. It seems to have an accurate thermostat and timer and the fan is quiet and efficient. I actually like the timer ticking away and the analogue dials (but perhaps that is just a reflection of my age!).
Although it is not a well-known make, it seemed to have less adverse reviews than some of the more expensive ones when I was researching what to buy. Very pleased so far!
It’s a nice looking appliance, larger than a microwave, good capacity. Great price at 95 with a 40 Amazon voucher. I like the dials, which are better for me than digital.
I have cooked Yorkshire puddings in it made from scratch and as you can see from the picture they came out fluffy and golden brown. It was so easy, though I need to get silicon moulds which will be better than the muffin cases I used.
I made Yorkshire puddings the first time i used it. They turned out fantastic, light, crisp and golden all in less than 20 min. I haven’t used my main oven at all since I purchased this. It’s a really good size, and you can see the food cooking with the in built oven light. I have no hesitation in recommending this.
Well, the oven/air fryer landed today and I thought I’d have a go at something simple to start off with. Roast chicken and roast potatoes. Went very well, I used it on the air fryer function, I also cooked it upside down for he first 20 mins, then turned it over, added parboiled potatoes and cooked it for another 35 mins, with the fan on high, and it was really good, very moist, with crispy skin, potatoes could have done with another 5 mins, but I’m new to this, so I gave myself a pass. Next to try is lamb chops, I will update as I and when I fail, or succeed. The recipe book is ok, in theory, but each recipe gives you the ingredients, then the cooking time, the temp, but not the function, which is daft, some are obvious, like broil, that’s the grill, but I had to guess as to whether to use the air fryer, or the oven, which is marked as bake, I will at some point try the oven with a chicken, and I don’t think I will use the rotisserie, it looks like too much work to put a chicken on, and a very small one at that, and it would make a hell of a mess on the inside. I wish it had given at least 2 shelves, but only 1, a basket, a drip try and a crumb tray, an additional shelf would have been better than the crumb tray, as the drip tray does the same as the crumb tray. Unless I’m missing something. It was a small chicken I cooked, 1.5kg, but its fast and economical, and as you can see I popped it into a roasting tin, a small one, so I will update as and when I think it needs to be updated, for now its a good 5 stars, this may change, we will see.
Update: well I am impressed with this, I’ve mastered roast chicken, so juicy, even when I’ve nuked it in the microwave 2 days after it was cooked, roast pork is good too, makes great crackling, I tried lamb chops, but they weren’t a great success, they were all different thickness, I prefer to fry my chops, but most everything else has been good, pizza, roast spuds, pasties, beef, I’m impressed
