This LEGO Marvel Spider-Man set has proved to be very easy to assemble. It had 227 pieces in total. The instructions were pretty clear and the whole process was very straightforward. This was slightly different experience compared to previous LEGOs I built as this one is the smallest in size and it took me one hour to assemble it fully. It’s a good and easy LEGO if you don’t enjoy complicated and big structures.
As usual the pieces are well built, the colours are very vivid, and everything was accurate and well-fitting.
Very lovely experience.
Nice set – my son really enjoyed building it and I have to say that it’s got quite a few different items and it’s definitely worth the money. Quality is always top notch as with all Lego sets. A must-have for Spider-Man fans!
This is a children’s set and doesn’t have as much attention to detail as your typical lego set, but for kids it’s great: larger parts, easy to build, the instructions are straightforward and clear and the lego feels solid and is designed to be played with.
You get several items, each have their own action button turning them into a fun toy to be used after the building. The building was complete within the hour. You get a few extra bits like a web you can wrap the figures in. Overall, if your child loves spiderman and lego then this set is a must.
First impressions of this set were positive, it comes in a decent size box which had a wow factor with my daughter when she saw the Lego and Spider-Man branding!
Included in the set you get the Spider-Man car with his mini-figure, green goblins glider with his mini-figure, ghost-spiders skateboard with her mini-figure and then the things to shoot out, a pumpkin and the webs.
It’s aimed at age 7+ and my daughters only 5 so she did need a bit of help following the instructions to build it but I quite enjoyed that as it gave us a bit of bonding time!
Overall we really enjoyed making it together and she’s enjoyed playing with it since it’s been build, imagining different scenarios where Spider-Man could save the day! We had no complaints with the set so would happily recommend it!
Although advertised as 7+ my 5yr old mostly built this on his own , following the app instructions. The app does make it a little easier to follow the instructions compared to the paper but other than some fiddly bits, putting it together was relatively straightforward.
The car is pretty solid when built, withstands play without bits falling off so you can get into the game or acting out little scenes. The accessories with each minifig adds to the imaginative play you can run through, although you’ll want somewhere safe to keep it all as we already have a pumpkin bomb that’s gone walkabout somewhere after being lobbed across the room.
My son is a huge Lego fan and also loves Spiderman so this set was a no-brainer for him. The set has a generous 2 vehicles to build – Spidey’s race car and the Green Goblin’s glider, there’s also 2 minifigures – Ghost-Spider and the Green Goblin.
My son really enjoyed building these and always finds the instructions very clear, you can also use the online instructions as well. The builds are separated into 2 bags, making it very straight forward.
The set has loads of play value, the car and the glider have shooters and the figures are pose-able and there’s lots you can do with the whole set, recommended, perfect for Spiderman fans.
This Spider-Man, car, and Green Goblin set is great – the medium-small build size not too challenging for builders at the younger end of the recommended 7+ age group, but plenty of detail to appeal to older Spidey fans.
The build is split over two bags, with minifigs and smaller accessories the first things to be made in each – Bag 1 has Spidey and the Green Goblin in it, whilst Venom is in Bag 2. There are 60 multi-step instruction diagrams to the complete build, with everything clearly depicted and in full colour, as you would expect from Lego. There are some excellent details to this set, including the flexible spiderweb, clear blue windscreen brick, and firing mechanism at the front of the car (what look like headlamps fire single dot bricks, with 4 included with the set).
Great set that’s generous in its inclusion of detailed minifigs.
Recommended for ages 7 and up, the set is justified by the presence of smaller pieces and slightly more complex assemblies compared to 4+ sets. Inside the box, you’ll find instructions and two eco-friendly paper bags, as Lego is transitioning away from plastic bags. Building the set is a very enjoyable experience, taking around 30/40 minutes, and it includes three different minifigure characters. Playability is enhanced with various accessories like Spiderman’s web, brick-shooting guns, a skateboard, and more. Lego has included extra bricks, as usual, for replacing any pieces that may get lost during play. I give this a five-star rating. This makes a brilliant birthday or Chrismas gift to any young child.
My boy loves all LEGO Marvel series, this Spider-Man set is very nice and satisfying to build.
The instructions were easy to follow, meaning it didn’t take long to complete, more importantly, this continues to give enjoyment after being built.
This one was definitely interactive and fun. Cute details with the different characters. Great for spider man fans.
Great Lego set for a Spider-Man fan. This is a really good set for children to build on their own, the instructions are really easy to follow. My daughter loves spider man so she really enjoyed building this. All great quality and good value for money.
This Lego set is great, the quality of the material is great and there are multiple options on how to play. Green goblin has a glider with 2 projectilesbon aswell as having 2 possible faces. Spiderman has a variety of different webs including some that can be used as projectiles. The car also has space to fit the skateboard inside aswell as both mini-figs and also has two projectiles on the front. Easy to assemble and the instructions are clear.
This was taken over by one of my little people, and completed independently; I didn’t even get to help. It’s a cool set with an interactive vehicle and an assortment of characters for creative play. It’s a little bit overpriced at 25, but if it absolutely has to be Spiderman, give it a go.
I was sent the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin set to review and handed it over to my son to test it out.
The set includes two buildable toys: Spidey’s race car and the Green Goblin’s glider, each have stud shooters for added action. The inclusion of LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Ghost-Spider and Venom Green Goblin minifigures, along with weapons and accessories like hand web shooters and a skateboard for Ghost-Spider, make this set feel good value and that there’s plenty to play with after the set is built.
My child was particularly fascinated by the car’s opening cockpit and the pumpkin bomb, so the set does a good job of capturing the imagination and keeping them engaged with it. He also loved the flexible web ‘rope’ and the bendable web element, which can wrap around a minifigure, which is a clever design feature.
The 3D instructions available on the LEGO Builder app are really good and we have used it for other builds. It, making the building process more interactive and engaging by being able to zoom in and rotate models in 3D helped my child understand the assembly better. It is and really good if your child struggles to follow paper instructions, too.
Overall, another great set from Lego. 5/5
This LEGO Marvel set has 227 pieces, which is good value for a 24.99 set. The set is Spiderman themed and includes Spiderman along with two other minifigures. The set includes a skateboard and a Green Goblin hover board vehicle. The main vehicle is a Spiderman race car. The race car could be a bit better though – the canopy/roof/windscreen isn’t hinged, which would have been nicer. The race car and hover board both have firing mechanisms. Overall there is a lot of scope for varied play and the set is very gender-neutral.
This set is good value, you get 3 mini figures included. Spiderman, Green Goblin and Ghost Spider. You also get web shooters and accessories with the pack. Then there is the main part, the car. The car was a great build. My first spider-themed car. I also tried the lego builder app which makes building even easier using 3D however you still get the coloured instructions in the box. My son loved it.
Such a super build. It was fun and interesting to make and shoots small lego bits out of the cannons! Bit worried i will lose them but a great set. Three minifigures too. All round a great set!
Fantastic product arrived immaculate in original packaging , easy to build clear instructions and great gift idea The inclusion of Spider-Man’s iconic web elements adds a dynamic touch to the overall aesthetic. The build process is engaging and caters to both novice and experienced LEGO enthusiasts. The set’s compatibility with other LEGO sets ensures versatile play and display options for collectors. The attention to detail in the characters’ costumes and accessories adds authenticity to the Marvel storyline.
I didn’t really like this set, but my 8 year old nephew loved it, so to be fair I’ve given it a four star rating, especially since it’s really about my nephews enjoyment anyway. As a Marvel set, this is pretty lacklustre I thought, you don’t get much to build and the build is especially easy. The age bracket is 7+ and that’s fair, a younger kid could probably manage it I think. I make these sets together with my nephew when I look after him but he didn’t need my help at all with this one.
Once it’s made I just thought it was kind of rubbish looking. My nephew, on the other hand, thought it was awesome. The minifigs are cool, you get three, spiderman, ghost spider and venom green goblin, the last of which is especially cool. I also did quite like all the little additional pieces, like spidermans webs etc. The car is pretty basic, though it does have some nice, unique little design elements, but it’s mostly just a brightly coloured looking sports car type thing with a couple of little cannons on the front that shoot the little Lego plugs. As I say, I thought it was all a bit uninspiring but I guess it’s a cool looking car and that’s fun for a young kid. Throw in the Marvel figures and I guess I have to admit it does work and is an enjoyable set for sure. If you’re looking to buy for a kid that’s into Marvel I do recommend this set overall, my nephew is a pretty good test of stuff like this rather than me and he though tit was great.
