This set is great! The nether portal is something my 11 year old son was after for a while so he was over the moon with this set.
He’s been playing with it constantly!
As expected with lego, easy to build and great for all ages
ideal gift for our son who is minecraft obsessed. genuine minecraft branded and looks realistic to resemble the game.
easy to follow instructions, all piece were there and fit together seamlessly as expected.
nice price which makes it ideal for a gift or pocket money spend.
Really good value for this Minecraft Lego set. Anyone who has played Minecraft would love this kit and can easily recognise the pieces included. Super fun and easy to build this set and can easily do it in one sitting.
Got this lego set for my 10 years old son as he is fan of minecraft. He built this set easy and was good fun for him. This lego would be amazing for Christmas gift or birthday present. Great quality and value for money. Highly recommended
I don’t usually comment on the price for items that I review, but I do feel that this set is a little small compared to others given the price.
The kit has three arches, one of them an obsidian portal. The pieces were easy to assemble, with the instructions being easy for my 10 yr old Son. He sometimes looses patience with large kits, but did this one and another small Minecraft one in one sitting without an issue.
There are a couple of minifigures included which helps to start the imaginative play. The setup of the pieces seems to be a good reproduction of the minecraft world.
If ever there was a combination of brands that seemed to have been perfectly made for their mash-up, it’s Lego and Minecraft: the construction blocks being the ideal way to capture the game’s iconic, blocky appearance in the real world. This neat little armoury set is an ideal addition to my 10 year-old nephew’s collection – the combination of Minecraft and weaponry appealing highly to his interests! The bricks are divided over two bags, with both characters and one of the scenery pieces in the first. The instructions are clear, easy to follow, and in full colour at all stages as you would expect from Lego. With just over 200 pieces to the set, which make up the characters, accessories, and three small room area pieces this is a small, fairly straightforward build that took my nephew about half an hour to complete.
This Lego Minecraft The Armoury Building set is one of the medium sized boxed sets and is currently on sale for 17.99.
This set is another set which can be added to other Minecraft sets which is shown on the back of the box and advises and age of 7+ for this one. Once opened it is in its separate white paper looking bags with numbers on which is a new thing I have seen as they are usually clear plastic bags and the instruction booklet is bold and clear being easy to understand how to build this.
After building this I noticed the detail into this is very good especially with the furnace and cauldron and my Minecraft mad son loved the portal, I did help with this as he is only 5 but he loved to find the pieces needed on each page and built what he could himself. This was definitely a hit with him and I would recommend this for any fan of this game, another great set from LEGO
The set accurately captures the look and feel of the Minecraft world, with iconic features like the anvil, furnace, grindstone, and crafting table. It includes a variety of fun play features, such as a working anvil, opening doors, and hidden compartments. This allows kids to recreate their favourite Minecraft scenes or come up with their own adventures. The set comes with two minifigures, Alex and an Armoursmith, which adds to the play value. Kids can use the minifigures to role-play different scenarios. It’s easy to build, even for younger children. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the pieces are relatively large and easy to handle.
This set attempts to faithfully recreate items from Minecraft and it does a decent job at most of it considering the limitations of the medium. The set is easy to build, the instructions are clear and the quality is great.
So at this stage in human evolution you will know what Lego is and you will know what Minecraft is, what you get in this set is a marriage of the two.
The set comes in a larger box than it probably should do, given how “small” the set is after building. However, it’s the building that is important, and it is a relatively simple build, and an awesome build, as watching my nephew’s (a fan of both Lego and Minecraft) eyes light up as each thing was built. The minifigs had him absolutely made up, he was SO happy with them, and the weaponry that are available which boasts the distinctive Minecraft style.
In all, this is a great set for youngling fans of the game.
My 8year old completely loved this set. Was a huge hit and quickly put together . Took her couple of hours.
Box did not miss any pieces. Colors were on point. The box came in together, nothing is missing.
LEGO Minecraft The Armoury proves to be a standout addition to the LEGO Minecraft series, offering an engaging building experience and endless role-play possibilities for kids aged 7 and above. The set includes character figures like Alex equipped with a Diamond Sword, adding to the immersive gameplay. The construction process is well-detailed with clear instructions, ensuring that young builders can create the Armoury independently. The attention to detail in the weapons set enhances the overall gaming experience, allowing kids to recreate scenes from the Minecraft universe. The durability of the finished product is commendable, enduring the enthusiastic play that comes with the territory. This set not only provides an entertaining building challenge but also sparks creativity and storytelling as kids dive into the pixelated world of Minecraft. LEGO Minecraft The Armoury is a fantastic gift for young gamers, seamlessly combining the best of LEGO and Minecraft for hours of imaginative play.
At 17.99 you get a surprising amount for this little Minecraft set. It probably feels like more as it isn’t one big set, but rather 3 separate builds with 2 characters. It feels like the circle has closed with Minecraft mimicking Lego and now being actual Lego.
There are few things that can keep a child (or adult, for that matter) occupied as well as Lego. My 8-year-old niece is a huge fan of both Lego and Minecraft, and she absolutely loves this set.
It’s not the biggest of sets, but still has 203 pieces, which was enough to keep her busy for a couple of days. Once complete, though, it looks amazing, and contains a variety of weapons to play around with. Makes for a great little display piece.
Top quality, as always, from Lego.
This little Minecraft set is ideal for fans of either the game itself or just lego in general its a quick and easy one to get started and assemble in no time at all, instructions like always with Lego are super easy to follow along with and you can then get playing away with this set.
It took my nephew no time at all to have this entirely made up and since he is a fan of both Lego and Minecraft he loved it, I would go without saying its on the smaller side of sets in general and would make a great little filler for a present around easter or a birthday.
Would recommend.
Lego is timeless. Everyone knows Lego and the longevity it has it due to always keeping up to date with current trends. Always one step ahead, they create wonderful sets for everyone to enjoy.
This set is no different, if you are a fan of Minecraft this will not disappoint. Fantastic for adults and children alike, this was easy to put together and the young ones really enjoyed playing with this set too. Will look forward to adding to this set to create a larger Minecraft universe!
The LEGO Minecraft The Armoury Building set could have absolutely jumped out of Minecraft Dungeons and it’s great to see the dungeon sword in LEGO form.
It’s an admittedly very quick and potentially too simple of a build that won’t cause any problems for even the most beginner LEGO builders but the quality is great and there’s some quite neat Minecraft additions here.
In particular it’s the first set I’ve personally come across an Alex on, and the Minecraft utility weapons bits just fit so well into the LEGO pieces that it’s hard not to raise a smile.
As a parent of a huge Minecraft enthusiast, this set has proven to be a big hit in our household. The Lego Armoury Building set is an absolute gem that combines the imaginative worlds of Minecraft and LEGO seamlessly.
When put together it looks great. It might only be a small set but the attention to detail in this set is truly commendable. The Armoury boasts a good, albeit limited, set of character figures, including the iconic Alex equipped with a Diamond Sword (as well as an assortment of weapons) and a blacksmith, and the individual rooms have enough detail to be engaging (the nether portal is especially nice).
Like most Lego sets the instruction booklet is clear and concise with easy to follow instructions. My 9 year old had no issue with following along to completion. He found it to be a relatively simple set but challenging enough that he was kept busy for a while.
If I had to nit-pick, it would be the recurring presence of Alex/Steve figures. We seem to have acquired quite a few already, and some fresh additions to the Minecraft character base would be welcomed. I realise this is a personal gripe though and other people won’t have any issues with receiving yet another Alex.
Overall it’s a great addition to the Lego Minecraft universe and they’ve delivered on a lot of fronts. The quality, attention to detail, and play value make it a five-star addition to any Lego builder’s collection. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Minecraft and LEGO.
We are a family of gamers and fans of Lego so this collaboration was a marriage made in heaven. We have a few other bits from this series so it was a great addition to the collection we already have. Really fun to put together and to play with and now sits on display.
