Lego definitely delivered by releasing this Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E set.

This is a very accurate set and everything goes on smoothly. The final results are absolutely fantastic but the fun part is the actual build of course.

Great quality pieces, everything is packed and nothing was missing from my set. You get the whole F1 experience from a very detailed set and an adult version of this Lego piece ( they do it for kiddos as well).

Assembly took a few days but I was glued for hours doing it and I am probably not as advanced as some other Lego fanatics. I loved the complexity of this set and definitely would love to do more at this level.

Everything from fine details to F1 labels make this Lego reproduction of Mercedes bolid made it worth every penny.

If you love Lego and added bonus you are a fan of F1 this is a must have.

I bought this alongside the McLaren F1 model, but have yet to get around to building it.
I have a number of sets to build, the Millennium Falcon, the Space Shuttle, the HD Tow Truck, both F1 cars and I als bought th frighteningly expensive Lamborghini Sian (don’t tell the missus)
I’ve actually bought these models as an investment. I have terminal cancer and will likely peg it within 12-18 months but, as we all know, LEGO sets tend to double or treble in value once they’re retired, and I can’t see LEGO leaving this set on sale for long.

I may build it, I may not, I’ve not decided yet. It’s mega though!

My son is still I’m the process of building this with his dad. It’s a lovely weekend activity they have together so it hasn’t been finished yet. I’ll update the review with photos once they’ve completed it.

The kit itself is great quality as always with lego. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes with loads of stickers. It has over 1600 pieces and is a complicated build so will give you plenty of time to get it done.

A really good quality kit and ideal for any F1 or lego fan!

An article that does not disappoint from a brand that is so well known all over the world and has been recognised for decades for its quality, fun and timelessness. This one is in the medium price range and has a large size. Therefore it has a large number of parts which makes its assembly challenging and therefore we will have many hours of entertainment.
As for the final design of the F1 car, it is quite faithful to the model of the beginning of the season, although some licenses are taken, I suppose due to manufacturing and assembly limitations. F1 is a world that is constantly evolving during the season so you can’t replicate the final car.
The damping is ok but could be improved, although I like the way the steering wheel can be turned. Another aspect I don’t love are the tyres, I wish they sold separately other types (intermediate, extreme rain…) so I could change them. They also don’t look top quality and I’m a bit disappointed by the (non) drawings of the tyre manufacturer.

Really pleased with this as will be any Lego fan that likes a challenge.
This is a full on Lego Technics build of the AMG Mercedes Petronas F1 car.
There are 1642 pics and a very detailed build manual (even with that and numbered bags it takes some understanding). As such this is definitely focused at an older audience and it’s not low cost.
But for that you get to build a 63.8cm F1 car with full F1 sticker sets and terrific detail.
If you are into Lego this is an ideal challenge – just make sure you have somewhere to display it when it’s done.
Several hours of concentration needed to complete it.
But it’s a great set to work with.

This is quite a complex build which took a few days on and off to complete. The finished build looks great but the parts are quite intricate and can be frustrating to fit together at times. The slick wheels look awesome and it’s a fantastic display piece for F1 fans.

The build was both challenging and fun, just what you’d expect from Lego. The attention to detail is unmatched, with some seriously impressive features. The instruction booklet is thorough, making it easy to follow along. Overall, it’s a sophisticated and enjoyable Lego experience, perfect for adults looking for a rewarding build. If you’re a fan of Technic sets, this one’s a winner!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSince review below..FINISHED. Have it on display on my tv stand underneath my tv. As in upladed pic.

Addition to my review below…DON’T build this with a few drinks down you…I got to the part built in pic…& dropped it!…no more numbered bags..just a heap on the floor….however…I managed to put it all back together again & finally finished it…as in other pic. The last module to put in place comes back out overly easy…I thought I’d missed something to keep it secure…then I clicked on…it’s supposed to be easily removed so you can rotate & see the engine pistons underneath….keep that in mind.

When I first opened this kit & saw how many small parts there were….I thought it was going to be a nightmare…but I’m actually enjoying putting this together..very therapeutic! Everything in the booklet is well laid out (almost!) so you can differentiate between parts via colour…

Having said that….I didn’t understand a lot of the number meanings or reference diagrams but managed regardless…I’ve uploaded a pic which shows a couple of parts that need to be added next
.but no indication of where they should go…(circled in red). Also the packs are numbered as to what to empty next….& you think there’s something missing only to find the parts needed are in the un numered packs….I think this is symbolised by a lego brick!

This is going to be a long haul…I’ve uploaded a vid of how far I’ve gotten so far…two evenings worth….Everything is so intricate & detailed. Two bags out of around 12?

If you want Lego…there’s nothing at all that screams out lego….It’s tailored for one job only…..but it does its job nicely….a beautiful model which you wouldn’t think in a million years it was lego! Everything is sleek.

The stickers…..it’s not a case of building this model then putting them all on….The VERY thick instruction manual introduces where to put them along the way.

I’m an Airfix fan & didn’t think I’d get along with this…but every step I take feels rewarding….& as I said earlier…You’re putting something together but it’s not your usual blocky Lego….this has pure class.

There is some history in the booklet regarding the building of the real f1 car..& also the collaboration between the f1 makers & Lego to produce this amazing model.

It doesn’t stop there though…If you put the model name into Amazon seach bar…you’ll find there is an acrylic display case for this…also a wall mount where you can hang this vertically..& also some neon light for the underside! I think this can be converted to RC as there are parts available to accommodate this. But don’t quote me on that.

Anyway…can’t wait till it’s finished…at the same time a really relaxing & satisfying build ..Oh & my favourite sticker is AMD 😉

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely model

I would not expect any less from Lego; as always they have delivered a great technical model, challenging and enjoyable to build. The attention to detail that Lego put into their technic sets is unrivalled and this set has some fantastic details. I am only half way through the build (my fault, not theirs) but I find it greatly relaxing as it really does distract me from the stresses of everyday life in my down time. I can’t wait to come back and show off the finished product.

You can’t go wrong with lego and I know lego is a lot of money but the quality is great. This comes well boxed with full instructions which are reasonably easy to follow for your avid lego fan. The price is on par with other places so its neither lower or higher in price. it’s on point. This is a large set and will take while to complete but will be worth it.

This Lego Technic replica of the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance car is sure to impress and delight all F1 fans. I was concerned initially that it may be too difficult to attempt but I am super impressed by the thought and attention given to each and every aspect of this construction. The contents are all bagged and numbered which means you can concentrate on one bag at a time without the worry of getting pieces mixed up or mislaid. There is a substantial, yet very simple and informative, 357 page instruction manual which walks you through each step of the way showing you which bag to open and gives clear diagrams of which parts you are constructing and where they go. It’s all broken down into small tasks so it’s not the slightest bit overwhelming and you can progress through the instruction manual quite quickly I should imagine.
Although this is for Adults, I’m sure dedicated teenagers could follow those diagrams too. This is a fantastic kit and an amazing gift for any F1 fan. I’ll post an updated picture once it’s completed but for now, I’m just excited to get it started.

This set is glorious. It comes in a wonderful box with a premium booklet that feels more like a 1980s department store catalogue in size. It’s glossy and well worth keeping in itself. There are 12 bags to house the pieces and an absolute stack of stickers over 2 sheets.
The set itself is easy enough to put together, and I put this down to the app that Lego has developed, that makes it a cinch to do when everything is animated through the iPad. In fact I would go so far as saying this is essential for big sets, as it keeps you focussed on where you are, especially if you’re doing it over more than one session.
The end product looks amazing with the sleek Mercedes black look. each bit articulates well and the whole build is very solid. Amazing for anyone, even if you’re not an F1 enthusiast.
