Lovely wee light. Lovely vivid colours. If I were to be critical, a bit too bright to have as a night light as I intended but if wanting for other reasons I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. Longevity is unprove
My daughter loves her light. We only have one so not hooked up to the app, but very happy with it and have bought for her friend as a gif
This light module is bit of an unusual item, there is the whole upper case alphabet available plus a heart and ampersand “&” versions available so can be used singly as a monogram or spell something out. It should be noted that if spelling out a name or other word that buying all the individual letters will add up. Usually they are 10.99 but currently on offer (at the time of review). The one of the good things about these individual modules is that they are interconnectable so can work together, they come with connecting wires for this option.
The light module itself is pretty good even though the physical build does feel a bit cheap and plasticky. Features RGB lighting so lots of colours available as well as colour chang, there is also sound activation which can work with music. There is a corresponding app for operation interface which is easy to download and use. Requires USB power via mains or power bank and if i’m honest, the wiring is a bit ugly, definitely looks better working and in low light conditions. A very effective item but very specific and limited.
I was very pleased when I ordered this letter S light for my daughter and her new room. We were both very surprised at the great quality this letter light is. Has several modes to change the light to flashing or still. Lots of colours. Rainbow was our favourite. You can link more lights to the letter to make a word or phrase! Can be hung on the wall or stood on a table.
Needs a usb socket or plug. Great quality and value. Would recommend.
This is a really fun item that is perfect for my daughter’s room. It is smaller than I thought, but that’s my fault for not checking the item description.
It is powered by USB and creates a most excellent colour changing light display. It can be synced to music, it has a timer function and I really like that I can determine the speed of change. Its a perfect night light!
Overall, this is a fun and good value item at the very reasonable price of 9.99, and I can recommend it.
I recently acquired the RGB pixel light to adorn my gaming desk, and I must say, I’m enamoured with it. My choice of the letter “G,” representing my first name initial, turned out to be a delightful experiment. I’m seriously contemplating ordering the remaining letters of my name to complete the set. However, I’ve encountered a minor setback as I couldn’t find a few letters in the same store. I’ll patiently await their return to stock.
Setting up this pixel light is a breeze. All you need to do is plug it into a USB charger and use the controller to cycle through the various effect modes until you find the one that suits your mood. The best part is that the letters can be interconnected, allowing them to share the same power source and effects seamlessly.
While there is an accompanying app, its functionality is limited to turning the light on and off. I could not find any extra features by using it on an Android phone.
I found the music mode to be the most captivating option, as it synchronizes the light with the beats of your tunes. However, it’s worth noting that the microphone’s sensitivity may not pick up medium-volume beats effectively.
In conclusion, this RGB pixel light makes for a fantastic piece of decoration that can add a personal touch to your gaming setup. While the price is reasonable, it could be even more attractive given the size of the individual letters. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend it for those looking to elevate the aesthetics and ambience of their gaming space.
I do product photography as a hobby, and always on the hunt for interesting props for it. When I saw this O on Vine I knew I had to have it, as it would work brilliantly with a few project I have on at the moment.
The letter arrives well boxes, along a mounting kit (screws and wall plugs), double sided adhesive pads, the manual of course, and a cable to link letter together to form words (without having to plug each one)
The power comes from a USB A plug at the end of a cable that carries the controller (5 buttons that change colours, modes, intensity, etc).
Altogether very easy to set up, it lights up well, has enough colours and modes (including one that reacts to sounds) to cover all of your needs, and though quite light, doesn’t feel flimsy.
Why not 5 stars then? Well, if you look at the store selling these, they don’t carry the whole alphabet, so unless you need to make some limited word, you’re stuck, and of course if you get another model you’ll miss out on the syncing via the serial cable (and you won’t get the coninuity looks-wise) . So for my projects, I can spell the brand’s initial but nothing more, which won’t have the same impact.
This comes with sticky pads, a screw/plug, connector and instructions.
The light has a hole on the back for wall mounting or the pads can be used for wall or mounting or securing to a surface but it was stable enough not to need it.
The connector is for connecting several letters together and it says that you need to use the app if connecting more than 4 letters together but I couldn’t test this.
I didn’t bother with the app as I only have one letter and the controls on the wire are very good. You can control the brightness, the mode between flashing and stable and the colours from single to multiple. It also has a music mode so it will react to music/sounds and the flashing speed can be changed. It remembers the last mode you left it in as long as you turn it off with the app or controller and don’t remove the power.
If you want to use it as a nightlight the brightness can be lowered to be fairly dim if needed.
Overall this is very nice and only 10 per letter.
Packaged and presented with good giftable high quality craftsmanship and setup is a breeze, also links flawlessly to a dedicated app which is user friendly & this app auto detects the light straight away which to be fair was effortless.
The app has some great features and colours to suit, also modes are fantastic to maximise the letter lights potential & blending in with pretty much any room.
I particularly like the size and also how you can link other letters to this one with straight forward guided instructions included. However upon searching for more letters to purchase, there wasn’t a full catalogue of letters available at the moment which is a shame to complete my name.
At 9.99 currently, i am very happy to recommend this one as its really good value for money all in all.
