Bought this for my husband who regularly complains that his back hurts and was insistent that he didn’t want one……. I got him one. He loves it and now wouldn’t be without it!
Quality is excellent, doesn’t feel cheap at all. Powerful motor. Quick charging time.
Knee ligament tear recuperation, 2 days in…… unable to stand properly, walking/shuffling, stiff ,sore leg muscles……..Wow 15 mins on each leg muscle tissue only it’s not a gun, it’s a wand and it’s magic………Hope you don’t need to find out….. peace.
The long reach of this machine really makes this worth its weight in gold, there were many times when l needed my back massaging but no one to help me, now l can do it myself and it’s just another small step to my independence but a big boost to my confidence.
Its pretty basic, one button 5 levels but their sufficient and plenty poweful. Lightweight to easy to hold for long periods, the handle is a awesome. It easily reaches those cramps/knots in your back/shoulders.
Has saved me a trip to the masseuse many a time.
As you can see the box arrived quite damaged but the item itself was intact and appears of good quality. The user manual is easy to follow and understandable – although clearly not written by a native English speaker. I am using this for general aged-muscle aches and to some extent to see if the arthritis that is beginning in my hands can be minimized with some gentle massage.
So far so good.
The extension handle is easy to put on and take off even with Arthritic fingers and is great for getting to all points of the back and also getting to the calf muscles without quite so much bending whilst standing.
Overall – impressed.
I am a WFH IT Professional and I have two issues. The first is my lower back pain. the second is neck pain, as though something is trapped.
I’m 54 and I have had these pains become very pronounced to the point that I sought the advice of my doctor, who referred me to physio a year ago.
Nothing from the physio worked. I really did do the exercises. However, They did suggest that a massage machine MIGHT help. Now, I’ve spent quite a lot on personal massage which gave only respite from pain for about a day or two. So I searched Amazon and saw this percussive gun from Renpho and thought “It’s novel, I’ll try it and return it if nothing happens”; Good old Amazon Prime return policy to fall back on!
I have now been using this ‘gun’ for several months and it is truly amazing. Firstly, the back issue. Whilst there are several settings and heads, I use setting 5 (MAX) and the flat head for everything. Once applied to my lower back for 5-10 mins, it is like a rejuvenation treatment. Almost all of my pain and stiffness is gone. I have now found that if I use it for 5 mins each morning, I can manage my pain very well.
So, to my neck. this was a revelation the first time I used it here. To start with, when I applied it, on max power with the flat head, there was a really odd ‘squidge’ sound and a feeling of something being released. Next came a wonderful feeling of…freedom! I had discovered a means to massage myself and in a way that I could even manipulate the areas being massaged to maximise the percussive effects of the gun. You can’t do this with a masseuse – well, not the ones I was paying for!
This gun has seriously improved my quality of life. I know the names of the medical issues with my spine but cannot (quite rightly) put them in a review as I’m not a medical professional. I can report my personal impression of the kit though and I want to tell any person thinking of buying this to just do it. The build quality and materials used are top notch too. A full charge now lasts the whole week for me and I use it for about 10 mins each morning.
I paid less than a single massage session for a piece of equipment that does far more than I ever got out of these sessions. I may well still get a massage, but only when on holiday as a treat. For the reason I need massage, I’ll be using this from now on. My life is seriously transformed.

To anyone reading this review, I hope I’ve helped you to make an informed decision either way.
I have managed to use the massage gun which arrived promptly from Amazon. It does appear to give me some relief to my arthritic back so hopefully that will improve the more I use it. Unfortunately however, it didn’t come with the charging cable or carrying case as stated in description. I had to hunt around for a cable that fit, fortunately my phone cable did the job.
UPDATE: Apologies, have found the supplied cable, it was tucked down the bottom of the box under one of the larger head attachments. Have amended review and given the full 5 stars.
generally a great little machine a new fad everybody’s got one.. i put on charge overnight on initial instruction goes to the t shaped spinal jiggler adds the extra reach handle and starts it up.. the on button isnt very tactile, i feel my thumbs already benefiting, pressing for dearlife it comes on goes immediately to setting 2, confused i guess i press again it goes up 1 level ‘Great now how do i get back to 1’.. on pressing i get it back to 1 ‘Yes! right lets try it’ it goes off. There is plenty of charge i initially worried it wouldnt last but I think the off button is light sensitive, to switch it off i cup my palm over the power button.. it also has a cut-off to save over revving.. but once youve used it a couple of times it becomes alittle more predictable.
Easy to charge and lasts ages
Just watch few videos on using these type of massagers don’t go pressing on any bones with them !
Even use on feet (the sole)

Purchased after buying and retuning another brand which was 20 cheaper and sounded like a box of spanner’s.
Opted to pay a little more for this one and so glad I did. This one’s the real deal. Good quality build, easy to operate, quiet, super long battery life and nice design features like the easy on/off reach extension handle. 6 settings 1,2,3,4,&,5 with 0 as the slowest speed which increases based on how hard you press.
Only negative thing I can say is the minimum setting 1 is ample 2,3,4 are a bit too vigorous for both myself and my girlfriend therefore not used. If I could change something it would be to have more lower speed options like a 0.5, 1, 1.5, than higher one’s.
All said it gets used daily since purchase. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this item again.
There are five power levels controlled with the same power On/Off button. I stick with level three for my needs. I’m not sure it is as powerful as my old noisy Theragun but it’s not far short. Considering its price and the angled extension handle the Renpho massager is a no-brainer. Buy one now and release that tension you’ll be thank you did.
