I bought this so we could sleep in the spare room when guests stay. Felt rather good, if youre on hard wood flooring you can tell but with a duvet or something on top it should be fine. Good weight distribution. Look forward to taking this camping, it is rather lightweight, certainly lighter than our self inflating camping mat. We can also use it in top of our sofa bed which is handy too. I decided to try placing it on top of our mattress, we have a new one but I am not happy, it doesn’t support my body in the way I need, even with a topper… let’s just say it’s made my bed actually feel comfortable, like floating on air, every bit is supported! It’s amazing and not too warm either! Shame our mattress is a king size, this would otherwise be a perfect long term solution!
Bought this for the spare room to sleep on while taking shifts looking after our newborn. I was a bit skeptical about how comfy it’d be as it’s so thin compared to our previous futon (which was huge and not practical to easily put away).
This turned out to be surprisingly comfy, and then for storage it just rolls in on itself and zips together. It’s got handles too so getting it in and out of the cupboard is so much easier than the old futon.
I went for the second smallest size, although I think I could have got the smallest and it would have been enough space for one person.
I was very nervous about making this purchase as I had been researching a lot of different futons/casual roll up beds/mats and had gotten a bit of choice paralysis. I like to lay on the floor each evening stretching my body out after along day at work. I needed something more than a yoga matt as I spend hours on the floor and sometimes even fall to sleep. I’m a heavy human being (250lbs) with lower back and hips problems. It was important to me that the futon is thick enough that I cannot feel the floor through it. This product is perfect!!!! It is super thick and sturdy but still soft. The cover is high quality and thick, it feels like it will last many many years. It rolls up and zips for easy storage and I colour is lovely. I’m so so happy with it.
Looks great and provides us with a bed roll for visiting grandchildren, a mattress topper for the single spare bed, which allows us to store it simply, and a play mat for the baby. Quite sure this will be used Alfie play inside and out in the future too.
It’s like a thinner futon mattress, pretty comfortable and rolls up/zips up neatly. Great fabric and a quality feel. I got it on offer too so particularly good value. Great for guests, car camping, camping, extra padding. It’s quite classy looking and seems like it will last very well.
Really pleased with this. I used to own a mattress cube which took up a lot of space. This mattress does also take up space, but nowhere near as much and it’s light weight to carry.
Although it takes some patience and core strength to roll this mattress back up – it’s totally worth it. I use it for myself on occasions when I give up my bed for my guests and it’s so comfortable to sleep on. I place this on my carpeted floor with only a bed sheet on top. I don’t have much space in my room (and I’m 5″2) so it’s nice to fold part of mattress to fit length wise, which gives my legs a bit of a boost and it’s good for aching legs – or you could fold the mattress to use as a prop up pillow.
The longest I have slept on this mattress is for about 3 months, and I have are no complaints.
This is surprisingly comfortable. Worth spending more for this kind of quality. Doesn’t make a noise or deflate like an air bed. My son’s friends were arguing about who got to sleep on this mattress at a recent sleep over. You literally cannot feel the floor through it. It is so comfy.
I use this on the pull out bed in the motorhome on top of the settee cushions and it makes for a comfy
Nights sleep. During the day I fold it and put it on the over cab bed, it’s easy to store and light. You can just pop it in a duvet cover and then you won’t need to bother about a shee
I researched many bed rolls and camping mattresses before deciding on this one. I am very happy with it. 3 days camping and I find it very comfortable. I’m going to buy another one for my son.
I think this is a good item, but the quality is not quite up there for the cost. I’m going to keep it, as it will serve its purpose, but I’m sure if you looked harder you could possibly find better for less. Sadly I’ve bought a product from China which I usually seek to avoid.
I wanted an actual mattress for occasional guests rather than an airbed that requires inflating/deflating and smells like plastic. This is firm yet comfortable and makes sleeping on the floor feel the same as being in bed. I found I couldn’t roll it back up as it slips/unfurls, but folding it into 4 equal sections works. I like that it can be zipped up and easily carried about. You need a decent about of cupboard space to store it though. I bought the smaller size in dark grey for 99.99 which is more than I wanted to spend, but it really is worth it for a good night’s sleep and no back pain in the morning. Perfect for small spaces or when you don’t want to buy a sofa bed. Highly recommend.
