My son’s previous Mongoose helmet was getting rather long in the tooth at about 7 years old so I got this as a replacement. The fit and finish seems good and the adjustment system makes it easy to size to my son’s head. Overall the quality seems good although at 21.99 it should be as that’s probably double what the Mongoose one cost.
This is a nice looking helmet, it’s easy to adjust, fit’s my son nicely and feels very strong and solid. Confident it provides a good degree of protection, price is high, but a good quality product.
Fits perfectly on my two year old boy . We love the helmet. Especially my little boy who wears it. He loves the bright white and blue / red stripes colour and it’s comfortable for the time he wears it. Really easy to adjust as well. Good size .
A cool lookimg bike helmet for 5-8year olds which could be used for other sports including roller blading/ skating too. Nice design all over white with a speedy looking red and white stripe down the middle.
Within the helmet there is plenty of padding and some as a chin protection, it does say that it adheres to some requirements too which is always important to keep an eye out for.
Fits my nephew who is 6 really well and are able to adjust around the face to ensure it is sitting correct and tightly enough too.

Ensuring a child’s safety without compromising on comfort can be challenging. This helmet, worn during numerous cycling adventures and skateboarding attempts, has proven to be both secure and comfortable. Adjusting to fit as my nephew grew was straightforward, and he never complained about it being too hot, thanks to the ventilation. It’s peace of mind, wrapped in a simple design.
The helmet has a very nice and polished finish with a white carry bag that you can use if it gets dirty and needs to be put in the car
Unlike cheaper brands, its got a very strong padding and I feel safe in knowing that my children can use it without damaging their head. Another plus is the fact that you can was them, no more sweaty hand me downs.
The blue and red striped in the middle give you that ‘evel knievel’ feeling which I am sure will be passed over this generation but the thought was nice.
Got this for my son. He’s 6 and it’s a bit small for his head right now, but should be fine in a year or two.
Really cool Mod design, in terms of the colours and shape. Feels robust and very cushioned inside.

I must be honest and say that my expectations were pretty low for this relatively inexpensive helmet. So upon arrival, I was thrilled to find a really well made and well finished helmet complete with “Herbie” style stripes.
The helmet has a nice solid hard shell with comfortable padding on the inside. It also has a rather nice matte finish and has plenty of adjustability in the chin strap and head circumference. This fit my two girls (7 and 11) absolutely fine (Medium) with ample room for growth so I think this will last until they are much older. In fact this helmet fits me and my wife so we might use this helmet ourselves when out and about.
It’s pretty much a standard BMX / skater helmet that’s reasonably well made and has the usual adjustment features. What makes it stand out is the design, the clean white matt finish with the blue and red stripe makes this helmet stand out both aesthetically but also, and importantly in a visibility sense so it’s a win win for parent and child alike.
The dense polystyrene inner is solid enough to give confidence that this provides adequate protection and the outer shell appears thick enough to provide an adequate first line of defence. It is adjustable by way of chin straps and a rear tension knob. Either side of the inner are 2 pieces of plastic trim that don’t appear to sit well in the indentations of the foam. You may need to check they are in position before fitting. It’s not a major problem, just a minor quality issue that might cause discomfort if out of place.
This helmet offers good protection. And looks great. My son loves it because it looks cool and he wears it so that’s a plus. Easily adjustable and fits a 8 yr old. It also comes with a handy storage bag to keep it in good condition
Great quality, great protection very good value for money
Protection is the most important thing when wearing a helmet, and this one really is. It’s also easy to spot as it is bright white, which helps when you are out and about and it is getting dark. It has a nice style and look about it. No kid wearing this would feel like they are going to be bullied or laughed at, more likely to make the other kids jealous. It is adjustable and comfortable to wear. It comes in two sizes, one of them ought to fit you well. I know adults wear them sometimes despite them being advertised as for kids. You get a solid item with a lot of features at a low price.
There’s lots to like about this helmet.
It has a nice design and looks really nice new, super clean in bright white. Not sure however how long it will last like that!
The small size is 51-54cm adjustable, which would be around 5-8 years old on average I think and this seems to match up with testing on my niece.
There’s removable padding, which is great for washing.
It is stated to have ABS foam protection which matches what it looks and feels like – it’s quite hard. There’s also (removable) chin padding to keep the strap padded at the point of contact with your chin.
All in all there’s nothing really to complain about with this helmet. It would suit skate, scooter, BMX etc mainly but would also suit biking (although it’s not as ventilated as some helmets if mainly being used for biking).
Having tried the standard skate helmet from the well known outlet bike/motor store I have to say that, that is very similar and retails around 15, so it does seem a little expensive at the current price.

Right off the bat I have to say I really like the helmet. It has a slightly retro appearance and is well made.
The sizing is spot on. I ordered the medium which is large enough for a young adults head. The inside padding is comfortable but supportive. There is a small rotating mechanism at the back for further adjusting the inner fit. Overall its protective without feeling overly cumbersome.
At the time of writing this review it cost just shy of 25 which is in my opinion fantastic value for money. If you need head protection for casual cycling, roller blading or similar activities, this helmet is perfect and comes highly recommended.
