I like these flights from mission darts, I ordered the clear longer versions as I prefer to play with a longer dart I find they fly better. The flights are strong plastic yet also flexible, they are able to bend, and haven’t damaged from being dropped either which is a great bonus.

The thread is well made and engages really well onto my current darts. They fly really well and feel better in my opinion then the traditional two piece design. The only downside is when trying to group your shots it can get crowded as the flights aren’t able to pop off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice one piece flights

I am a fixed flight user and have most recently been using K-Flex so I have been looking forward to using these since seeing the Mission launch on YouTube.

Unlike other reviews mine arrived nicely packaged and in perfect condition. They screwed in without issue and are nice and straight with a good amount of flex.

They appear to be a two part moulded system as you can see where the two parts connect on the stem. I’ve not found that this causes any issues with the trajectory or flight of the dart.

The wings of the flight are seem ever so thinner than the K-Flex and this is where opinions may be divided – as they’re thinner they won’t suffer so badly with deflections but the flip side is that they will damage more easily – so it’s a decision on what is more important to you. As of yet I’ve been playing with them for nearly a week without any noticeable damage.

Throwing wise I normally use a No 6 but found the No 2 to be decent – predictable flight path that leaves my darts in the board at the right angle for my playing style.

At the current time of writing you also get more choice than other competitors with you being able to get a No 2, No 6 and slim all in the 3 different lengths. As such theres something for most dart players.

Colours wise they’re limited at the moment to black, white and clear. I’d really like to see some other colours and preferably different ones to competitors.

I’ve tried both separate stems and flights, and also integrated stems and flights, and they’re both good but I do like the convenience and ease of use of the integrated ones.

I tried these on a set of Harrows Rage steel tip darts. The shafts screw in fine without any problem. All the flights are perfectly formed. The flights on these have a bit of flex and a soft feel. Hopefully this makes them a bit more durable but the flex also allows them to move slightly for closer groupings. By their very nature flights don’t last forever but I’ve had few games with these and they’re holding up well.

Overall I’m happy with these. They fly well and are easy to install and use.

These integrated dart flights and shafts are a wonderfully innovative, and well-made solution to a problem nobody has.

Really. Why do these exist? I have tested and reviewed several sets of darts, most of which were endorsed by championship-winning players. Professional darts players use screw-on shafts with separate flights, not these integrated systems. If separate flights and shafts are good enough for Rob Cross, Dimitri Van Den Bergh, Nathan Aspinall and Phil Taylor, they are good enough for me.

With that out of my system, what’s the product like?

Very nice, actually. Although they look a bit like the flights you screw onto toy darts, the quality is very high. The fit onto my darts is very good, and there’s a light knurling so you can unscrew them. As a product in its own right, it’s great. Even the packaging is nice.

It’s fair to say that these flights are much more accurate than conventional ones. The angles between the vanes are an accurate 90 degrees, more or less. And that’s the thing – they are still not perfect, despite the massive box they come in. And, unlike conventional flights, you can’t tweak them by hand. They are solid and set in a fixed position. If they get bent or squashed in your case, that’s it.

They are also made of a fairly hard plastic. Regular flights bend or even fall out of the shaft if they collide with each other in the board, and don’t really get damaged. These will actually cut into each other.

I’m marking these down specifically based on their poor value for money, which I am required to mention in my review. They are not cheaper than conventional shafts and flights – you can get THREE sets of player-endorsed flights and shafts for the price of one set of these. You can also buy differently-branded versions of these for less.

No matter how well made these are, I wouldn’t buy them over regular flights and shafts.

I’ve been using K-Flex from Target as everyone has become obsessed with darts and the worlds gone darts mad. I prefer a fixed flight for sure, no messing about making sure stems are tight and flights are pushed on. Just simple but effective fixed flights. I was excited to try these offerings from Mission which are their take on the fixed flight bandwagon. I’m pleased to say that they’re very good, a negative review I saw said they had some that weren’t straight and didn’t screw in well. These ones were fine, I think there is a bit of residue on the thread for the flight but if you’re half minded with mechanics like me you’ll screw the thread the opposite way until the thread bites and then screw it in the normal way. I didn’t have any issues screwing them in and they appear straight as can be. I’ve photographed one side by side with Kflex and there isn’t a massive difference in appearance. I can say that the actual wings of the flight are maybe a little thinner which I don’t think is a bad thing as they’ll give more when it comes to deflections etc. Whether they wear the same we’ll have to see. The cut slots down the shaft is slightly different but looks to be trying to achieve the same thing and guide a dart to its target than than away from it. They look good with a little ‘m’ mission logo etched in too. I’ve tried the number 2, slim and number 6 flights and they’re all top drawer quality! Feel great weight wise when throwing and I’m happy to keep using these and would rate them as highly as others.
