I already have a regular treadmill that I paid well over a grand for. Well since I work at home I needed something not expenses, and easy to use when you are at your desk, watching TV or just doing nothing. I found the perfect treadmill for that.
The Mobvoi Walking Treadmill Plus Walking Pad was the perfect find. It’s compact, and the right size to do what you need it to do. It’s portable, you can put it under your couch, and where you need it to go. The walking area on the pad is the perfect size. It has plenty of room to get your walkout done.
If you need to walk or run the speed goes up to 3.8, and as low as you need it to go for waling. You also get a hand held remote that allows you to change the speed, and the pause the workout. Perfect for when you need to get off to answer the door or do some multitasking at your desk.
This is what matters:
It’s a very smooth walk, it’s starts off slow, and the remote is awesome. I can increase, decrease, and pause my workout. The distance, and calories are displayed very clearly. I love how it slows down before stopping.
Here is a breakdown of everything:
The digital display is very easy to read, and offers a lot of information about your workout.
The machine is very quiet, and does not take up a lot of room in your area.
Whether you are an Android or iOS user, you can keep track of your workouts on your fitness watch. It you have a Mobvoi TicWatch there are compatible option to use while working out on your walking treadmill. Mobvoi has a treadmill app in the Google Play Store.
This is a great buy if you want to stay fit why working, and doing your TV time. Just to let you know there is a weigh capacity of 265 lbs, and speed capacity of 3.8 MPH. Don’t forget your can store it easily. There is another plus to this deal, it’s not expensive, and it’s very affordable.
Having used this treadmill only 6 or 7 times it already has developed a squeak. It doesn’t alter the performance but is a bit annoying. I was wondering if I should use a little,of the supplied oil.
I am happy with my purchase. The treadmill is durable and easily fits under the sofa. The motor noise is very low. I’ve been using it for a month now and have had no issues. I would recommend this treadmill.
I use this treadmill everyday for an hour, so far so good. Very quiet, so you can use it in the evening too with minimal noise.. I can fold it and wheel it around to where I want with ease.
I would definitely recommend
I’m writing this review as I’m walking on the treadmill, it’s brilliant for what I want, good pace fairly quiet faster it goes loader it gets like anything can watch tv while using it I’m working up to walking for an hour a night while I watch my episodes, seeing as I did zero exercise previously I have a sit down office job I thought this would be a good way to get a bit healthier, easy to move but by no means light if you have arms like spaghetti like me but I can manage would recommend ignore the typical slider slap it the vid unit is surprisingly quie
My wife and I had the previous model from Mobvoi which has handles and is quite big. We switched to this and we can now fit a table in the conservatory! And we hide it out of view once we’re done, it’s light and has wheels.
We love the app integration and all the fitness features, it really helps us strive for more on any given day!
This treadmill allows me to persevere with my exercise regime on a more regular basis. It is stable and easy to use in conjunction with my ankle/wrist weights. It is not too loud and I highly recommend you try it out.
Had this for over a month now and use it almost daily. Really sturdy, easy to set up, great instruction manual and tool kit & has wheels for ease of moving around. No issues or errors at all so far.
I’m new to walking pads so the lubrication is confusing as you’re supposed to apply it at the centre but can’t get to it because of the belt, unfortunately trying to adjust the belt resulted in it slipping more often and it now needs adjusting weekly but that could also be because we’re new to this and have messed it up our end.
The control sometimes doesn’t instantly kick in when turning it on or off & if you have to turn it off to do something you’ll lose the progress you’ve done so far.
It was a little heavier than I anticipated – but then again it will help with the exercise regime. Great value and perfect for what I required. Easy read display. Nothing complicated about it. No set up needed – just a flat floor surface. Great for home keep fit.
As someone working from home I couldn’t ask for anything better. Not just for walking but if you get it from 4-6 you can actually start jogging and even running. The incliners make it even better making it slightly steep and making your workout more challenging.
Great machine 5/5
The good reviews for this treadmill are deserved. But there’s one irritant.
I have a Pixel 7 Pro mobile and a Ticwatch 5. I bought the mobile recently to ensure that my watch syncs with my phone.
The Mobvoi app on the treadmill records activity to the Mobvoi treadmill app on my watch. What it doesn’t do is sync with the Mobvoi Health app on my phone. Everything else does – steps, sleep, heartrate etc. As for the Mobvoi Treadmill app, that isn’t compatible with my phone and so cannot be installed on my phone.
So to see the treadmill activity I need to look at the Mobvoi Treadmill app on my watch – because the data isn’t travelling onwards from my watch!
So to keep track of treadmill activity I’ll have to record it manually, reading off the data from my watch or looking at the (very clear) digital summary on the treadmill dashboard. The activity on the treadmill doesn’t appear to be added to the Mobvoi Health app as Steps. But I noticed that (today, at any rate) if you run Ticexercise on your Ticwatch it does add the basics to the Mobvoi app.
Not a deal breaker but a bit irritating.
Actually much better than expected. easy to setup and not heavy to move. Speed increments are good enough for a very brisk walk and certainly gets the blood pumping enough for me.
I do a lot of running and am very big on fitness and health. I bought this machine because I was looking for a solution to help me stay active during the day instead of sitting at my desk. Sure, I love going out for a run, but sometimes that’s not practical with work and weather. So I thought I’d I could increase my daily step count in the office, it would be a big help. I needed a machine that was small, quiet and practical. I chose this mainly because of the great price and the Mobvoi brand.
Pros:
Great size. Fits nicely under a stand up desk or just next to your desk in a small office. I would say it takes up the minimum room or could while still being practical.
Quiet. I light purr of the motor and your own foot steps are all you hear. Doesn’t disturb anyone else and easy to keep working while walking.
Well built. The quality of the build is great. Very solid and well put together
Not heavy, mobile. This is very easy to move out store vertically. It has wheels to tilt and move it room to room. It’s really not an annoying object on the room at all.
Good value. For what it is, I couldn’t believe the price and discounts that Mobvoi give on this.
Simple remote and display. I really love how simple they have kept this machine. The display cycles through simple metrics, distance, time, calories, speed. The remote has a big stop start button and speed up down. That’s it. Really simple, easy to use and no faff.
Speed. The speed range is well thought out. Maximum is 6km per hour which is a fast walk. It goes down to 1kmph which is perfect for stands up desk working and walking.
Cons
Honestly, none so far. I really can’t think of a negative on this one. It’s really good and does exactly what I wanted it for at a great price.
If you’re working at a desk all day and want something to help your fitness, I would strongly recommend this.
The Mobvoi Home Walking Treadmill presents itself as an innovative solution for those seeking a blend of convenience, functionality, and compactness in their workout regimen. After spending considerable time with this product, I’m ready to share my insights, juxtaposing my experiences against the manufacturer’s highlighted features.
**Unpacking and Setup**
My initial encounter with the Mobvoi Treadmill was notably positive. It arrived securely packaged, eliminating any concerns about potential transit damage. Remarkably, the treadmill required no assembly — a refreshing departure from the norm, allowing me to dive straight into my fitness routine without the usual preamble of setup frustration. This aspect alone makes it an attractive option for those who dread the complexity often associated with home fitness equipment.
**Use and Performance**
Equipped with a remote control and boasting a variety of speed settings, the treadmill offers a tailored walking experience. I found the speed settings particularly beneficial, as speeds around 1.5 to 2 km/h proved ideal for maintaining a steady pace while working at my standing desk. This feature addressed a specific need; it alleviated the discomfort associated with shifting weight from hip to hip during prolonged periods of standing.
The treadmill’s design strikes an excellent balance between compactness and usability. Despite its slim profile, the walking surface feels adequately spacious, ensuring a comfortable and unrestrictive walking experience. The device is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, yet it feels robust and durable, further enhancing its appeal for everyday use.
**Manufacturer’s Key Features:**
1. **2-in-1 Walking & Running Capability:** True to its description, the treadmill serves well for both walking and running. The speed range is sufficiently versatile, catering to various fitness levels and activities, including multitasking at a desk.
2. **Powerful & Quiet Motor:** The 2.25 HP motor supports a maximum load of 120 kg and operates quietly. My experience confirms the low noise level, which allows for an unobtrusive workout, suitable for shared spaces and office environments.
3. **Smartwatch Connection & Virtual Training:** While I haven’t fully explored these features, the potential for integration with a smartwatch and engaging in virtual training sessions adds a modern twist to the indoor walking and running experience. These features promise to enrich the workout experience by providing detailed feedback and interactive elements.
4. **LED Display & Remote Control:** The user-friendly LED display and the remote control enhance the usability of the treadmill. Being able to monitor key metrics at a glance keeps motivation high, and the convenience of the remote control for adjustments is invaluable.
5. **Shock-Absorbing Structure & 5-Layered Running Belt:** The comfort and support provided by the treadmill’s structure and running belt are evident. These features contribute to a more enjoyable and safer workout, reducing the strain on joints.
6. **Easy to Move & Store:** The compact and lightweight design of the treadmill is not overstated. Its ease of storage and movement is a significant advantage for those with limited space. It fits seamlessly into the home environment, ready to be stowed away after use.
7. **Adjustable Foot:** This feature, while minor, underscores the treadmill’s attention to user comfort and personalization. Adjusting the height for optimal ground contact enhances the overall user experience.
**Conclusion**
The Mobvoi Home Walking Treadmill is an exemplary product that marries convenience with functionality. It addresses the needs of modern, health-conscious individuals looking for an efficient, unobtrusive way to integrate more activity into their daily routines. Whether for use in a home office, apartment, or any living space, its design and features make it a commendable choice for anyone seeking to maintain an active lifestyle without compromising on space or disrupting their work and living environments.
At first I was unsure about this treadmill, it seemed too small to be taken seriously, but having pondered I decided to get one. When I tried it my hesitation was gone immediately. It really does feel solid and well constructed, and is great for walking or jogging, the belt feels very comfortable underfoot, while still giving a sense of firmness and strength.
It is small and light, and can easily be slid under a bed or settee without any need to dismantle anything, which for me is an enormous plus. The motor is nice and quiet, and can be used while watching TV or listening to music. The adjustable feet are great, allowing one to adjust the steepness, and it sits really nicely on all the surfaces I tried. The remote control works well, giving fast and precise adjustment to speed, and the display shows everything I need to know and more!
I love this treadmill, and the price is a bargain. I cannot fault it!
I’ve had the treadmill for around a week now, and I’ve been using it on a daily basis. I don’t normally leave reviews but in this case, I’m sincerely happy and impressed enough that I feel one is warranted.
I should note that it is designed to be a walking treadmill, and to that extent, it doesn’t have handlebars, and this is one of the reasons I really wanted this type of treadmill. I work from home and have a standing desk, so the treadmill, with is simple design ease of use (a remote controller) and ease of storage, is perfect for me. No chunky handlebars getting in the way.
There’s a wear OS app that, once linked, will keep track of your sessions with the treadmill, and I’ve also linked this up with the App on my phone for proper tracking of my sessions. I’m trying to get an hour at minimum in during my working hours per day and so far, it’s going great.
The treadmill keeps track of the time you’ve exercised, the distance you’ve powerwalked and the est calories burned. This is also updated to the watch app if you have an appropriate exercise watch (e.g. a Ticwatch / other Wear OS watch) and can also be viewed as individual exercise sessions on the record.
The manual comes with some recommended warm up stretches. The treadmill box also has some spare lubricant for the occasional maintenance (all treadmills that I know of need this type of easy maintenance) and the needed tool to do so. The manufacturer has also offered a service commitment guarantee for a year for issues not caused by human use.
One thing I was very surprised about was how quiet it is. The treadmill is for humans, not cats, but it’s so quiet that after some consideration, I’m comfortable the cats aren’t going to get stressed from the noise it creates. I’ve included a short video of how quiet it is after sharing it with my fitness loving brother.
In summary, I bought this Treadmill for its simplicity and ease of storage. It tracks my sessions in the background and doesn’t require constant fiddling around with like the ones I use at the gym. It starts when I hit the button and stops when I hit the button. I can make it go faster or slower at will. There’s no drama or overly complicated steps that would just distract me from work, which is why I love it. Considering its excellent build quality and low price, I’m delighted with this purchase, and highly recommend the treadmill if you’re in a similar situation to me.
As someone who works from home most of the time, having a walking treadmill is excellent – the obvious benefits are the exercise but it also encourages me to get out of my chair while working.
The quality of the treadmill seems good – the deck is not too firm but not too soft either, and the belt seems hard-wearing. Time will tell if it holds up well but I have high hopes.
The smart watch integration is very helpful and seems accurate from what I can tell. If you don’t have a compatible watch I think it would be fine, as Google fit treadmill tracking seemed to be within a margin of error also and I’m sure other providers will be close.
The treadmill isn’t too loud but I’d recommended having it on foam or carpet if you have downstairs neighbours as the weight transfer to the deck can cause some noise.
Remote is useful too for controlling the treadmill and the display is clear and easy to understand. I thought I might miss having handles to grab onto but at walking speeds I found they weren’t needed.
Will try to update this review with my long term findings.
What I love about this treadmill is that it’s easy to move and store. It feels really well made. Maximum speed is 6km/h which is enough for a relaxed run or fast walk. With the winter weather it’s a great way to keep active. I think I’ll buy another one for my elderly parents
I try to keep myself fit and healthy and to that end I do attend exercise classes and also use the local gym regularly. But I still spend far too much time sat in my home office which results in back ache and a general feeling of not moving enough during the day.
I have prior experience of Mobvoi products and have not been disappointed yet. Seeing the new treadmill with specific design features for use under a desk sparked my interest and I decided to order this to use at home.
The box arrived and whilst it was relatively heavy as expected, it was actually easy enough for me to move into my office to unpack. The treadmill was well packed in a strong outer with neat internal padding to keep everything safe in transit.
After around 10 minutes work I’d unpacked and plugged in my new treadmill. It’s neat and well sized for a home office environment. The front wheels allow me to wheel it under and out of position under the desk. When pushed back it does not get in the way and it literally takes seconds to pull it back into position to actively use.
I was able to link to my WearOS watch and automatically capture detailed treadmill exercise and the remote control that comes with the treadmill allows easy start/stop and speed changes. Talking of speed, the treadmill will go up to 6km/h — however for me at least, working speed is more like 2-3 km/h at which speed I am able to undertake Teams calls etc. I don’t have a height adjustable desk at the moment but have ordered a laptop stand to sit on my desk which should allow me to type still at slower walking speeds.
I do feel the benefits of moving more during the day and even walking for an hour or two through the day at relatively low speeds should have benefits, particularly for my stiff back and knees.
So, in summary I find this treadmill to be easy to manoeuvre, easy to use and overall it makes it easy for me to keep my daily step count up whilst working. I highly recommend
I recently had a work related injury which has caused me to not be able to get out and about as much as I’d like. This ticked the box for me to be physically active whilst at home where I’m currently best suited. The range of speeds is perfect for use if you want a strong walk or a light pace instead. I’ve downloaded the Mobvoi Treadmill app which is compatible with all WearOS smart watched, and it’s very accurate giving me much more detail after my workout.
The treadmill is as expected a little heavy, but pushes underneath our spare bed very easily to be out of sight and stored neatly.
If you’re in the market for home exercise equipment but don’t have the room to give up like I was, this is ideal for you!
Expectations
When I was looking for a walking treadmill for lighter exercises my goal was to purchase something that is good quality, doesn’t take up space, is easy to use and nothing fancy. Both my wife and I have delicate knees (including knee replacement) and we needed something for our basement that allows us to exercise during bad weather seasons. A feature that is advertised is the connectivity to a smartwatch. I was not able to pair the treadmill with my pixel watch. Still trying (update below). The adjustment height of the front legs is limited, but based on the design this is something that can be adjusted with longer bolts or pads that can be placed underneath if an increased incline is desired.
Setup and Ease of Use
It comes fully assembled. It is very easy to set up and straightforward to attach the front legs. It is also very easy to move it around and position. It takes up no head space like other treadmills. I use it while listening to music and at my standing desk to read papers.
Performance
It delivers what it promises on the website. I have not measured the mph, but it feels close to what is listed, anywhere between crawl and jogging. It is definitely not running or fast jogging. Perfect for me and my wife. It is quiet, with the occasional squeaking of soles on the pad. The display is easy to read, and the beeps help in addition to the visual aids of e.g. the countdown before the treadmill starts. Changes in the settings are responsive and acceleration and deceleration are great (not abrupt but not too slow either). The built of the treadmill seems solid and there is no creaking or moving during exercise. You can “feel” this also when taking out of the box, there is no flexing, and the weight is ensuring.
Convenience
A great feature of this treadmill is its size and ease of moving around. It takes a minute to store it upright between some of our shelves in the basement and you wouldn’t notice it. I hope that bluetooth capability will function in the future.
Recommendation
My wife and I are happy with the purchase and the current $40 discount make it an easy choice. You are not buying a heavy-duty exercise machine. It’s a very good walking treadmill for people with limited space and who want something simple for easy exercise during cold and wet seasons.
Bluetooth update: After connecting with support via email and the initial checks and still not working, the Bluetooth is now working after an update to the treadmill app on the watch. Works as advertised now with my Pixel Watch 2. Photo added.
