My daughter has always used a Neti pot, hers was like a small watering can, and I always thought this was a gross practise. I saw this one which is much more up to date, and decided to see what all the fuss was about. I’m very pleased I did. The Neti-Pot Kit comes with a temperature strip and contains the 300 ml bottle and 60 packs of nasal wash salt, which is specially designed for rinsing the nose. The whole kit looks so modern compared to my daughters one. I have decided to up grade her and buy her one of these. The neti pot couldn’t be simpler to use and once you get the hang of tilting your head and the sensation of the rinsing, it’s actually quite nice. I found this invaluable when I was sanding a wall prior to painting, therefore it’s 5* from me folks.

I like this Neti pot kit. I have used the pressurised saline water rinse in the past but, because the water comes out at room temperature, I thought that perhaps I should try rinsing with warm water. It’s very messy doing it normally, but using this neti pot made it much simpler.
Easy to use, just empty the saline sachet into the bottle and add warm water. The kit includes a temperature strip to test the temperature, but I used a ‘point-and-go’ digital thermometer to get the correct temperature.
Once I got the hang of using the neti pot, doing a saline rinse was easy.
note – give your nose a good blow first.
For any nasal rinse to work properly (in one nostril and out the other), both nostrils must be clear. If one or both nostrils are bunged up, such as when you have a cold) you may be able to rinse a nostril out but it won’t be so effective.
I was very sceptical at this being tricky and new age mumbo jumbo, so this sat on the side for a few weeks, I’d had recommendations, hence getting, but I was reticent.
Last night I gave it a go. Took less than 5 minutes from not knowing much to WOW. Rare is it you change your mind so quickly!!!
There’s a temperature sticker in the box, I applied this to the side of the bottle along the length roughly in the middle. Used some warm tap water, balanced the cold to the right 37 degree temperature and 300ml mark. Added a pouch of special salt (60 included) and shook, dissolved quickly and then I prepped myself over the kitchen sink, pressed the button on the bottom and away I went!
I thought 300ml was excessive but in maybe 10 seconds i was 3 quarters down the bottle, switched sides and used the rest, which the nozzle holds a fair bit and it was closer to 60/40 split.
IMMEDIATE effect of clear sinuses, probably better than I’ve had in decades, even better than showers or saunas.
Clean up required a towel, maybe a hankie would suffice, but not tissues due to water. Quick rise of the bottle and so forth and done.
Now i don’t know if this is the same for all Neti pots, or the simple spout and air button on the bottom makes this hassle free, but this certainly worked wonders for me!
Unsure if the temperature is critical, but the salt dissolved well and it was surprisingly comfortable to do, and easy enough to get right. Also unsure about warnings not to use water on it’s own and only special salt, saying that 60 packets included and I can’t see replacements being that silly.
I can’t believe I waited so long before trying one of these. I’ve had a sinus problem for years and always turn to sinus relief inhalers which become addictive.
I tried this tonight for the first time after one nostril was blocked. You pour the salt sachet in to the bottle as hot water and put the thermometer in the water and wait until it cools and says ok. Mine was originally too hot and said NO so it was very clear that I had to wait for it to cool.
I did find the button on the bottom of the bottle a little tricky as I have long nails, so I wish that had been easier to use but other than that this is a great product. After using it, I was able to blow my nose after and can breathe easily. I would recommend anyone to try this and not be disappointed.
This is a good all in one kit, with the bottle, nozzles of different sizes, and 60 packs of nasal wash salt. It even includes some temperature strip though we didn’t feel the need to use that.
It all works as expected, though we have found over the months of use that the bottles do have a finite lifetime (though much longer than 60 uses of course), so a kit is a good way to replace in one step.
It takes a time or two to get used to nasal rinsing, but we believe that the benefit is c;ear. After some time we cut back from once a day and now only use it in a ‘maintenance mode’. It’s the sort of thing that evryone will find their own best method with.
I have suffered from sinus issues for most of my adult life. Blocked and stuffy nose. And as I have recently had to have hearing aids my problems have got worse. (Hearing aids block your ear canal which is all part of the ear, nose and throat system).
So I decided that I needed to start nasal rinsing again. This pack is pretty standard with a bottle and jet and 60 saline packets. In my experience the critical thing is to ensure that the water used to dissolve the saline is at the correct temperature. Luckily I have a kettle with a variable temperature setting and I set it to 38 degrees centigrade which is perfect.
It takes a little practice to get the knack of running the water through one nostril and out of the other (and is generally best done in private!) but once the knack has been acquired the results are really great.
I am having real trouble with my sinuses in as much as one nostril seems to be permanently blocked. heard of Neti pots so thought would give this a go. Its a very well made pieces of kit and comes with everything you need including the salt sachets which are individually packed. I gave it a go and its really easy to use. The instructions tell you to tilt your head, spray up one nostril and it should come out of the other . This did not happen with me ( maybe because my nosed is too blocked ) . But the other nostril worked fine ( even though did not come down the blocked side ) and that did feel much clearer. I had a weird sensation of the salt up my nose which gave a slight ‘burning ‘ sensation, like you get when you get water up your nose when swimming , but that soon went I shall continue to use it as my GP says that it should improve the more I do it . Well worth getting
This is a great kit coming with the bottle itself, an adult and child nozzle and 60 sachets for making up the saline solution. Everything is good quality and the bottle even comes with a temperature sticker to show when it is suitable for use. My only disagreement would be that the instructions advise to use like warm water to make the solution – this isn’t safe it needs to be boiled and cooler water to stop micro organisms from tap water getting into your sinuses which can cause illness.
Otherwise a great kit!
I am writing this review as someone who is a long term sufferer of congestion and sinus issues and as someone who has not owned a neti pot prior to this. I have however used natural sea water nasal sprays before — so will see how this compares.
In the well presented box you receive; 300ml bottle with valve, 1 x lid top, 2 x tips (1 x adult, 1 x child), 60 nasal wash sachets, a temperature card for measuring temperature of water and information leaflet (please see photos).
To use the neti pot is straightforward — first run tap to desired temperature — then add nasal salt sachet to the empty bottle — then fill the bottle from the warmed tap to 300ml mark — then allow sachet to dissolve — then screw on the lid top and push on desired tip — then turn upside down and press valve on bottom of bottle (please see video with this review).
To use you need to tilt head forward over sink and to the side slightly and then put the tip in the higher nostril and then press the valve and keep it pressed until water comes out of your opposite (the lower) nostril.
I found it easy to use and could feel the benefits of using it. I did find that the nasal sachet with 300ml of water was not as salty as the natural sea water nasal sprays that I have previously used.
At the time of this review, you can buy this sinus rinse bottle for around 13.60
My partner has a sinus rinse bottle which is essentially a soft plastic bottle that you fill with salt, water and stick up one nostril and squeeze the water out. There is many of time when I have heard my partner, coughing and gagging on the saltwater using this bottle.
I was sure that the system incorporated into the nasal system I’ve ordered here would be much better and more controlled.
As you can see from the attached video water is released from the spout of this bottle when you depress a button on the bottom end. The water comes out in a steady flow and stops immediately that you release the button.
The system is much better, and I used it myself just before creating the video.
He just tied your head to the side and release the water into your top nostril, and it flows out the bottom nostril.
This pack comes with 60 little packets of salt and use one packet each time you fill up the water bottle.
If there was one thing that could be improved, it’s a little packets of salt because actually quite difficult to open
If you’re thinking about buying a sinus rinse bottle, whether it’s cause you’re a bit bunged up or because you have allergies I would certainly recommend this bottle / kit. I hope you find the video in this review helpful
The Neti Pot Sinus Rinse is super easy to use. Just follow the simple steps in the manual: fill it up, flip it over, and press the button. Cleaning is easy too, and it feels really well-made.
I have recently had an issue feeling like my air ways are restricted, so I thought I would give one of these a go. This is the first time I’ve used anything like this and it was very strange indeed, but it definitely seems to have helped as I can now breathe a little easier.
It comes with everything you need including loads of salt sachet’s for creating the saline solution.
The nozzle fit my nostril and created a good seal.
It was very easy to use and the instructions were clear.
I have been using a more traditional, watering can-style neti pot successfully for many years (and I recommend them to everyone) but I have recently moved to 300ml sachets so I thought this would be a great opportunity to try a clearly labelled 300ml capacity bottle.
This neti pot differs in that it is fully enclosed and you need to press a valve button underneath to allow the release of the saline solution.
The fact that it’s an enclosed bottle is a plus point, for hygiene reasons. It has clearly marked out levels on the side of the bottle whereas my old one had one level and I drew on the other levels I needed with a marker pen. It also comes with a smaller nozzle for children, which might be useful as my daughter now uses our neti pot. But how does it perform?
The saline sachets dissolved nice and quickly in the blood temperature water. The top screws on nicely and it’s easy to press the button when you want it to start flowing. The valve button is small and hard so it’s not the most pleasant feeling under the finger as you need to keep it depressed to keep the water flowing. But it’s not a real complaint.
Water appears to flow well, however, it doesn’t seem to flow with as much power as my old one. But it’s enough to remove allergens which is fine. If you have stubborn mucous then it might require a combination of more flushing and nose blowing. Why doesn’t it flow as well? I am wondering whether it’s because the valve is very small. It could also be due to the differing shape of the nozzle. Traditional neti pots have a longer gradually sweeping spout which allows the water, under gravity, to sweep around with some force.
I like that it comes with 60 saline sachets. The mixture is pleasant and compares well to my old sachets.
There is a tiny card-type thermometer which almost got lost in the box so watch out for that, although when I tested it out with extremely cold water, there was no reading. So I guess it doesn’t work.
It’s a good price in my opinion.
Would I recommend this? Yes, without doubt. It’s made well and works. I think it probably gives more control to people who are new to neti pots. Four stars for how it worked for me.
I’ve been after a second Neti Pot to keep at Work, as I do long shifts and often wish I’d have brought the one from Home with me. When my Sinuses plays up, it often gives me a Headache and instead of pumping myself full of unnatural pain killers, I much rather use this device to gently relieve my pain using nothing more than tepid Salt Water (Saline Solution). This Pot comes with a couple of different sized Nostril Adapters for both Children/Adults and 60 Packets of Specific Nasal Rinse Salt, which should keep you going for quite a few weeks? It’s Simple to set-up, prepare the salt solution and then use – There’s also plenty of YouTube Videos out there which will show you how it operates should you struggle to follow the instructions, but it’s pretty self-explanatory! Price wise, it’s selling for 15.99, but there’s currently a 10% off voucher on the advert, which brings it down to just 14.39 – I think this is Excellent Value, especially as you can’t really put a cost on your overall Health & Wellbeing! Thank you.
Honestly, I can’t believe I’ve never gotten one of these until now. They’re really good! Upon my first use, it was little uncomfortable, but the feeling after was worth it. I can’t quite explain it, but my head feels lighter after using this and both nostrils are clear for the first time in a long while AND stayed that way. I can imagine this is a blessing in disguise when you have an annoying head cold! It comes with nasal salt and 60 of them, which is a good addition. The good thing about these salt is that it doesn’t leave a smell or taste after using it – one thing I was concerned about.
It’s quite easy to use and comes with a thermometer for the water temperature you are recommended to use with it. If you’re thinking or hesitating about getting this – make the plunge! It’s worth it and you won’t regret it!
