Great cycling shades with all the accessories I’ll ever need. The frame is made of high-quality plastic and has a good weight to it. There is a lanyard supplied, that keeps the glasses around your neck if you want to temporarily take them off. There is also a second set of lenses in the package, a yellow one for low light conditions, and a cleaning cloth with a soft storage bag, all of these nicely packed into a cool hard carry case. It is a doodle to change the lenses in the frame, it clicks into place nicely, and the supplied test card gives some peace of mind that my eyes are adequately protected from the damaging UV rays while out and about.
These have a really cool sporty style. Perfect for outdoor activities such as cycling if you want to complete the stereotypical ‘lycra brigade’ look.
I like how they come with all the useful accessories. In particular, it’s great that you can swap out to the yellow lenses if you are feeling down and want the world to look a little sunnier.
The only thing is that your cycling chums might judge you if you tell them how cheap they were.
Himself wanted these for his cycling and fishing. He had an ordinary clip on yellow shades for his normal glasses which he found a great help with his vision when using in different lighting.
These he ordered to use for days out fishing or cycling. He likes the black shade which is ideal for normal sunny use, but does change them over if required to assist his vision.
He likes these shades a lot and finds the dual purpose a bonus, for differentiating weather elements, and the price is reasonable for a nice sturdy dual purpose product.
These polarized sunglasses come in a sealed pouch and inside you’ll find a hardcase containing the glasses, glasses pouch, cleaning cloth, polarization test card, 1x night vision lens, and a neck band.
The hard case is a nice case and has a carbon fibre effect to the outside which gives it a modern look. The inside is felt lined to keep your glasses scratch free. It is held closed with a single zip and has a belt/bag clip on the side. The glasses are lightweight but feel strong in their construction. They are made from a smooth plastic and are comfortable to wear since they don’t squeeze your head too tight. It’s tight enough to not move about if being energetic but doesn’t squeeze too much so can be worn for long sessions. The nose pads are fixed in place, but they do have a little bit of movement if put under a bit of pressure, but they generally are fixed in place and don’t move while wearing them. It’s comfortable on your nose and keeps the glasses in place.
The included pouch and cleaning cloth are a welcome addition so you can keep the lenses clean when you’re out and about. There is also a night vision lens included so if you are driving at night, you can change the lens so you can see better without the darker tint of the original lenses. The night vision lens isn’t polarized though but does allow you to see better at night while reducing the headlight glare a bit. The lens is quick to change once you’ve done it a couple of times so you can quickly change between them if you need to. The lenses have a good surface area, so they cover most of your eyes. If I move my eyes directly down, I can see past the lenses and have a clear view below. Left and right, I can just see the edge of the lenses and looking up, I can only just see the inside part of the frames, so they have good eye coverage.
I have this pair in my car, and I find that it helps to reduce the glare from wet roads and when the sun comes out. They are comfortable to wear for long journeys and are easy to store in the glove box with the included cloth pouch for protection. They are reasonably priced for what you get in the case
These glasses fit both my husband and my teenage son well. It is not very easy to change the lenses between the dark ones for sun and the yellow ones for night, but we managed. My husband was disappointed that the yellow lens is not polarized, as he thought this would be great for headlight glare. The polarization on the sunglasses lens works well. The case is hard enough to protect the glasses in your backpack, etc.
These are ridiculous and awesome and I feel like Kenny Powers wearing them! I got them for the night blindness part, but I actually like them more than I thought I would as sunglasses too. The case is great!
In my recent acquisition of the Odoland Polarized Cycling Goggles, I was thoroughly impressed by their myriad features, meriting a well-deserved five-star rating. The goggles come with high-resolution REVO polarization lenses, which reproduce accurate colours with astonishing clarity and boast a UV400 protective coating to shield the eyes from harmful UVA and UVB rays. This innovative design considerably reduces eye fatigue, making these goggles an indispensable companion for outdoor activities. Including two interchangeable lenses enhances their adaptability, catering seamlessly to varying lighting conditions, which I found particularly beneficial during my daytime excursions.
The goggles’ design prioritizes comfort and durability, which stood out during my use. The oversized frame offers an expansive view while ensuring comprehensive protection against environmental elements such as sand and wind. Their lightweight nature and the adjustable soft rubber nose pads provide a snug fit without compromising comfort, even during vigorous activities. Despite their myriad benefits, it’s worth noting that these goggles are not suited for nighttime use, a minor limitation given their exceptional performance during daylight. Summarising my experience, the Odoland Polarized Cycling Goggles have redefined my outdoor adventures, offering unparalleled visual clarity, comfort, and protection, firmly establishing themselves as a must-have accessory for any outdoor enthusiast.
A good set of sunglasses with an easy to change lens.
Visibility is good and the wrap around makes for good airflow when cycling.
Provided in the semi hard case is a cleaning cloth as well as a soft case for the glasses. In addition is a cord so you can put on the arms of the glasses and around your neck so you can hang the glasses around your neck.
Everything fits nicely into the hard case which can be clipped onto your belt, or bag as required.
These are a fairly typical sports design that cling to the head , no slippage, with inter changeable lenses (black and yellow)
There are ok comfort wise , but not the best , but at this price point you can’t grumble. They also are bit blocky with no subtle design features. And being one piece you with limited flexibility this could be uncomfortable for some shaped heads.
The lenses are not the easiest to change – and the yellow one is not polarised at all so I would have concerned if cycling around cars.
Not stylish but functional to an extent is how I would describe them – but they also come with a good hard case with an attaching clip so at this price point you really cant grumble.
Light to wear. With the design, no light gets behind them for that difficult mirror effect that other sunglasses produce, i.e. looking at your own eyes. Such bright sunshine this time of year and these have cut out the glare, making driving/cycling so much safer. Lens change is easy. Comes with neck string, so can take off but not drop or lose.
These are comfortable glasses with several useful accessories. The glasses themselves fit well and feel secure. They don’t press against my face and sit comfortably on my ears. The lens darkness is just about right for a British summer. To be honest one of the main reasons I wear these is to keep insects out of my eyes when cycling. This they do very well as they wrap around at the sides.
the accessories supplied are a hard carry case, a soft carry case, a set of yellow lenses, a lanyard, a cleaning cloth and a card to test the polarising effect. The yellow lenses are useful in the evening. In the past I have ridden into tree covered paths where the light is poor and at night all visibility goes if I am wearing dark lenses. These help to alleviate that problem. Changing the lenses is slightly worrying at first but the frames seem to cope ok with the pushing and twisting.
The soft carry case is convenient if you want to store these in a pocket and the lanyard prevents worries about losing these on a fast downhill ride. The hard case is provides plenty of protection if the glasses are stored in a rucksack. In the past I have paid 10 for just a hard case like this one.
Overall these are great value for money. They are not top end glasses but they keep the sun out and are comfortable to wear. Personally I am very happy with them.
These sunglasses are excellent value at 14.99. They are perfect for my son who is quite active so he will wear them when out on the water or on his bike. He says he likes the lenses as they are good at protecting his eyes against the sun. In terms of comfort he says they are ok but he found the arms quite long and as a consequence they dig into the back of his head.
Super cyclin glasses for a good price.
Nice desing, fits good to.
Super uv protection and windproof.
They comes in storage box and with night vision lense.
Very happy with the quality.
So surely can recommend it to all.
These are nice quality glasses they come in a hard back case
There are nk instructions n them if you want to adjust them.
They are comfortable to wear and do what they should.
They are nice quality and value for money.
These seem to be really nice sunglasses. They are very comfortable to wear, not heavy and don’t seem to squeeze your face. You get the option of the sunglasses and the night vision lenses and you can change between the two. They come with a hard case and a soft case to carry the sunglasses and the lenses that you’re not using; a microfibre cleaning cloth; a card to show you the polarized lenses are working and a clip that attaches to the arms of the sunglasses so they can hang around your neck. At 14.99 they are a great buy and comparable to more expensive makes.
The come with a hard case, soft storage bag, lens wipe loth and a lanyard type attachment which attaches directly to the glasses. The dark lens is definitely polarised and for me, glare from the sun is definitely reduced when driving. The yellow ‘night vision’ lenses don’t seem to be polarised, but I’ve never worn glasses for driving at night anyway. The design of the frame seems to prevent fogging, but wraps around nicely, offering full coverage for your eyes. Comfort is good – and don’t feel tight like some, whilst at the same time, they’re not loose. Overall, I’m very impressed with these, and certainly hold their own against some brands costing twice as much.
I find these glasses to be extremely well manufactured, stylish and comfortable to wear.
The are very well presented in a strong box containing a range of useful accessories.
Full instructions are included giving information on how to change the dark tint lens to the lighter night driving lens.
I found that the night driving lens to be very useful for reducing headlight glare from other cars.
The glasses have a semi hard case, a soft cloth case, lens cleaning cloth and glasses clip on retaining strap.
The wide lenses give great optical performance plus high levels of protection from object and insects when cycling.
From a couple of initial cycle rides and one night driving test , I am very pleased with these glasses and look forward to using them frequently.
Highly recommended
For the price these are nice. The included yellow lens is more interesting than the black, as I generally wear high end glasses in the summer, but the main reason i wear glasses on the bike is to stop things flying into my eyes as that can end in tears, so having a yellow lens that also makes the scene brighter is a nice bonus.
Changing the lenses is easy, but you do need to put a bit of force into it.
Overall the frame is lightweight, but does stay where it should over the eyes when cycling- they are stable and the polarised dark lens has a good deep tint-it’s marked at UV400, but thats’ actually dependent upon the lens it is mounting at the time- obviously yhr yellow night lens doesn’t give that!
Construction wise- it’s well put together, the 2 colour/2 material arms are well made and perhaps the standout part of the glasses in grey and black hard/soft material
The frame is a little disappointing, although he images give the impression of a half-frame construction, the lenses are entirely framed be a plastic frame, some of which provide channels for mounting the lens around it’s perimeter- it does cut into peripheral and downward visibly and these would be far better if they could be removed.- I understand that some of the frame is needed to support the fitment security and also to provide rigidity o the plastic lens to accommodate the flexibility of the process to fit alternate lens, but I suspect there is a far more elegant solution than this.
Fitting an refitting the lens gets’ easier once you have lost the worry of breaking hte frame- fitting the lens is more difficult- each channel has to be manipulated with the lens to fit inside and sometimes it does pop out of the channel or has to snap into place. The yellow lens is quite bright in daylight conditions and does really only give benefit in night car driving- the lens does reduce light intensity and seems to do it quite well.
Not bad set of shades, good value for the price, especially as it’s bundled with a hard shell case, carry soft case and neck rope.
Excellent value pair of sports sunglasses that come with hard case, soft case, changeable lenses, soft glasses cloth and polarised test card (please see photos).
The glasses are typical sports glasses in design as they wrap around your face to ensure a good fit and also to minimize the natural light that can creep in around the frames. With the frames soft rubber like texture they are extremely comfortable to wear and because they have some flex will adjust as required to fit different people easily.
Worth pointing out that the yellow (night time) lens is not polarized but the main lens most definitely is. There is a polarized test card supplied which when viewed through the polarized lens reveals cars on the road (please see photos). I checked this card with 2 other pairs of an expensive named brand sunglasses that I own, 1 polarized and 1 not and the polarized glasses revealed the exact same as these sports glasses whereas the non-polarized did not show the cars on the road.
To change the lenses is easy enough once you know how — to remove start with a side and unclip at edges top and bottom and then move to other side and finally then remove from the middle nose bridge section — to install lens do the above in reverse. Try to make sure fingers are as clean as can be when changing lens since lens do get smudged a lot (luckily they provide you with a soft cloth for cleaning.
There is also a strap supplied which easily clips on the end of the glasses arms if you wish to attach it.
I absolutely recommend these glasses and feel at current selling price of 14.99 they provide excellent value.
Well made glasses that come with an additional lens. Inside the hard case is a protective bag for the glasses and. Together with the regular lens you also get a yellow lens for brightening up the road ahead. The lenses are quite large and curved for a wide view angle and are also ventilated on both sides at the top and bottom to prevent fogging. A good design.
I got these to try out while riding my motorbike.
Yesterday was nice and sunny and tried them out. Sat on my head well with no movement at all. Kept my eyes shaded while riding even at speed with the lid up to test them out. I ride normally with lid down. Was just testing these out for stability.
Great glasses which felt great and looked great and did a great job.
Giving them 5-5. I’d buy them again for sure.
Odoland polarized sunglasses.
These were on sale for 14.99 when I got them. They seem to be really nice sunglasses. Nice and comfortable to wear, not heavy and don’t seem to squeeze your face. I like that you get the option of the sunglasses and the night vision lenses that you can change into the frame. They also come with a hard case to carry the sunglasses and the lenses that you’re not using, a soft case, a microfibre cleaning cloth, a card to show you the polarized lenses are working and a clip that attaches to the arms of the sunglasses so they can hang around your neck.
Ordered these for driving in the winter sun, as my Oakleys don’t remove glare totally. While I know these are not up there with premium brands, I was pleasantly surprised with the results when driving, with sun glare greatly reduced. The glasses come in a hard shell case, with clip in replacement yellow lense, cleaning cloth and neck strap. They are oversize and wrap-around so cover nicely without any light creeping in from the sides. Fit-wise they are very light and comfortable to wear. Great pair of glasses that won’t break the bank- I’m very satisfied with this product…
This is nice and decent quality. Good size frame and comes with extra lens which is handy. Nice colour and design and comfy to wear. Price is good value for your money.
A nice wraparound set of glasses for cycling.
The lenses can be changed from polarized to yellow depending on day/night time cycling. They clip on and off easily enough and are held in well.
Comes with a hard case, soft case, cleaning cloth and lanyard. Great quality for the price and manage to keep the wind out of your eyes very well.
The quality is basic but they look pretty cool. I like that it comes with the case, pouch and lanyard. Given the price I’d have preferred the case to be much stronger. If you sit on this there’s no chance it’ll save your glasses. I’ve purchased cheaper glasses with much stronger cases in the past.
These glasses are more comfortable than other relatively cheap models, although still a little hard feeling on my nose. They fit my largish female face well for width, but too small for my husband in width. I had to go back to the product description to locate instructions on how to change the lenses — it’s a shame there are no instructions in the case. A good hard case, cleaning cloth and retainer cord also supplied so overall good value for money.
I think these are excellent value at 14. You’re provided with a hard case, a bag, a wipe and the attachment to hang round your neck, along with two styles of lenses. They’re comfortable to wear with the nose supports being adjustable to cater for different widths.
The main draw back is the frame to me. It’s just a bit too visible as you can see on the gold lense. If this were thinner or had parts missing like the more premium pairs I think it would make them more appealing. Additionally because of said frame it’s a bit fiddly popping the lense in and out.
That said, they are still a bargain and if you don’t want to break the bank but need glasses for different conditions when cycling then look no further.
