I needed a monitor to go above my treadmill that I can run my interactive training software on. The PC is at the other end of the room and i wanted to control the software without being near the PC. This monitor lets me start the software (from windows desktop and control the features within it). Touch is responsive despite being on a 3 meter USB cable. Display is average quality but no complaints for the price and my limited use case. The mount holes at the back let me mount it on the wall above my treadmill using a standard bracket.
Overall very happy.
Good quality. Very easy to setup as it is plug and play for windows devices. I’ve seen some reviews saying it has bad touch input but I’ve had no such issues, feels like using a really big phone. Picture quality is good, but viewing angles suffer a little and doesn’t perform as good in direct sun as it has a gloss coating on the screen. Overall very good value for money and I’m happy with the performance so fa
Firstly, I should mention that when I was considering whether to purchase this item, only ONE Amazon review was available and it was extremely negative! I hope that my experience will help customers make an informed decision.
I bought the Pisichen Touchscreen Monitor specifically for creating and editing documents/texts, and reading my large collection of e-books, magazines, etc. This 21.5-inch monitor has a 75mm VESA, so it can be mounted in landscape and portrait mode on my monitor desk arm. It comes with a heavy-duty stand that tilts backward and forward (slightly); it is not height adjustable nor able to rotate.
About 4kg, the monitor is weighty as it has a solid build. It feels substantial but does not demand much space on my desk. The LED display resolution is 1920p x 1080p; when I activated the HDR (High Dynamic Range) feature, the contrast and colour of videos and images were stunning! The glossy screen is reflective but not so much an issue when displaying content.
This monitor was part of a dual-monitor setup on my desk. I connected the supplied USB 2.0 cable from the monitor to my USB hub. As the touchscreen monitor is not ‘plug and play’, I had to go to MS Windows ‘Settings’ (on my main monitor) and in the ‘find a setting’ search box, I typed the words: Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input. I followed the on-screen instructions and was soon able to use the touchscreen feature. I ran a touchscreen analysis and can confirm that there is multi-touch support, responsiveness even to the smallest touch, and accuracy to the level of my high-end tablet and phone!
Unfortunately, I cannot confirm whether the monitor has ‘Low blue light and anti-flicker technology’, but the menu gives various settings such as ‘standard’, ‘game’ and ‘movie’. Though the Pisichen Touchscreen Monitor does not suit my requirements, it is awesome tech! I highly recommend it.
