We ordered a pure white one. The side facing out is black. Two layers of thick fabric. Not soft but feels durable. The darker picture was taken at 6am in March (UK) and the other at 8am in March. Does the job.
I live in a tiny 2nd floor flat that gets bombarded by sun glare even in winter. I need white curtains to make the space look bigger- but this may result in a see through effect.
The extra black lining on the back of these curtains solves that problem. I love them and for extra large curtains I think they’re great value for money too. Highly recommend

Lovely quality. They’re like soft linen curtains rather than those ones that feel plasticky.
They do block out the light well. They’re a very bright white also. The only bad thing to say is that there is a very tiny amount of rust on the silver hoop part but it’s not noticeable once they’re up. I love them so much.
I was pleasantly surprised by these curtains! Pure white and the black lining doesn’t show through, they are thick, hang lovely and not shiny cheap looking. Block out all light, fantastic value for money

I’m not sure if it deadens noise too, as we’ve become used to the sound of cars and a train that passes nearby, but we’re sleeping well, so I think they’re even reducing those noises too.
