I already know that this charger is amazing. I bought it 3 years ago, and it is still as good as new after 7 different countries and a lot of falls. That’s why I need another one, I have double the gadgets now, and it’s great for holidays. Very Happy!!
The product performs exceptionally well. However, I encountered a charging issue after 7 months of use. Upon seeking support, they promptly replaced it with a new one and extended the warranty by an additional 3 years
Took it to Venice and both myself and friend used it for our phone.. plenty of charge. Great that you can see digitally how much charge is left. Life saver.
My favourite portable chargers, good value for money, charge fast and so small. I have about 5 over the years, just to give out to everyone in the family and only needed to replace one so far from the battery expanding. I’ve also recommended them to friends, they are really reliable.
Wonderful product . Works brilliantly But I was a little disappointed that they sent an Android connecting cable . I have an iPhone so couldn’t use the cable . Would have given 5 stars if there had been an option to choose which cable I wanted
Love this charger, quality seems great, easy operation and charges my iPhone Perfectly.
Does not fast charge daughters Samsung tho, it charges but very slowly but keeps it topped up when I’m her bag therefore 4sta
It is an amazing power bank that is worth the money one pays for it. I bought it as a replacement for the one i already had and bought back in 2021. I wouldn’t have even needed to buy a new one if the one i bought originally didn’t get lost/stolen at Chaand Raat in May 2023. The one i bought originally was still in perfect condition; it’s a power bank that lasts very long and doesn’t get worn out easily. I just needed to buy it again due to the unfortunate fact my own got lost/stolen 🙁
Device works straight out the box came 84% charged. It took about 20min to charge my iPhone from 91% to 100%. Not fast but probably not bad for the price and size. When advertising fast I expect like others I’ve had which were a few minutes for that. Time will tell on longevity but so far so good. Thank you
Whilst this worked it was great, best portable charger I’ve had. But just over 12 months later with light use and it’s stopped working. I’ve tried charging it, holding down power button etc but nothing. Very disappointing. Seems like there are quite a few reviews saying the same thing. Sobeware.
Edit: I was contacted by the seller who apologised for the issue and sent me a replacement with an extended warranty. Top class customer service!
It was working superb in the first weeks. But after just 2months, with only using it a couple of times each month, it now discarges quite quickly. With 100%, i can only charge my phone upto 15%.
Not useful anymore. Regret buying it
**Updated review. After a time, I was contacted for the Superb Customer Service, and they offered my an updated version for the product. So far it’s working amazing. Let’s see how it goes in time.
Stylish powerbank with huge capacity, it’s a compact size so easily tucks into a pocket or small bag. Multiple outputs, so handy for family or someone with multiple devices. The small white led on the side is handy for emergencies or to shine a bit of light. The protective cloth bag and the usb lead for charging are great extras. I like the % charge display, much easier to gauge how much is left and when to charge. This is my second purchase, my first one is on long term loan to my wife who immediately saw the simultaneous value of charging her iPad and iPhone. Customer Support is awesome too, when I contacted them with a question I got a reply within a few hours and they were very helpful and happy to help. I have but one request for improvement, a small inbuilt alarm or the ability to geolocate it when it gets borrowed by a family member who “forgets” to return it, when something is so good, that would be very useful.
Firstly, the item is shown displaying ‘100’ on its power indicator in light blue. On full charge it only shows ’88’ in orange. I don’t know if this is a problem with the one I received or just a general fault. Secondly, it is supposed to be a 10,000 mAh charger. After the first charge of my phone, the display said ’44’. Is this half discharged? I’m sure my phone battery’s capacity is not that good!!! Thirdly, After this first charge, a looong one, my phone showed just 90% capacity. In all, I think this is a scam.
Update: I have looked at some customer posted illustrations which show the charger with C type connector and USB micro. Mine had no micro connector. Obviously I received a different model than other customers!? Well, work that one out!
Further update: The seller did their best to answer my comments. They offered to put things right with an updated model. This arrived quickly. The charger charges up to 100% now. That’s fine! Good customer relations. Good, quick service. The company seems interested in what the customer thinks. Yeah, they’ve put things right. I have updated from one to four star rating.
I bought this to power an Amazon Echo Dot for our bathroom. Being in the UK, we don’t have normal power outlets in the bathroom and I didn’t want to fiddle with the outlet for the shaver/electric toothbrush. I bought this, charged it up, and plugged it into my Echo Dot gen 2. Works perfectly and enables us to listen to music, broadcast announcements, or Drop-In (useful as I’m disabled and sometimes require some assistance with the shower/tub). It has had the Dot plugged in probably 18 hours and we’re at about 30% charge probably. I imagine I’ll charge it daily for now for the Dot.
The device is quite small, has a nice little carry bag with it, and came with a USB light. It has two standard USB ports so I can plug in the Echo as well as the little light it came with or charge our mini Bluetooth speaker which is a bit better than the Echo speaker. The device shows the amount of charge left and will flash while charging. It’s easy to see when it’s fully charged by the digital display and easy to determine when you should recharge.
I would most certainly buy again for travel, the car, or powering other small devices in the home. Great value for money (thus far as it’s only been a day) but as long as it continues to work, I could see buying more.
We know how this works, five stars isn’t (just) for perfect products that change your life – it’s for solid, reliable products that come as advertised. This is that product: as advertised (plus a little bit more!).
The power bank is a rechargable battery, no surprises there. It charged a bit slowly, although considering it’s size at 10Ah I might be uncalibrated in my expectations at this point. Basically, it works, and that’s a great first step.
I had initially questioned the addition of micro-USB – really, when would I use that? After examining the additional contents however, I saw the included micro-USB cable and realized I could use it extensively to charge the brick, which pleased me. Two USB-C with the two USB-A would be better, but at least all of the ports can be used regularly.
As a fun bonus, my package included a small USB-A bendy light! Maybe I was an idiot and didn’t read that it would be included, but it was a nice touch. I don’t know how many lumens it emits, but it works as both a perfectly servicable flashlight, and – as is probably intended – a nightlight for reading.
The main drawback of this product would argubly be the quality of the plastic. This isn’t to say that the plastic quality is bad, merely that it is quite mediocre, and therefore the worst part of this solid product.
If from 1-10 (non-inclusive), where 5 is average I would rate this a ~6.5, maybe a 7 with the light. It’s a good, solid power bank, and I’m rating it 5 stars because reviews are binary these days.
This is a great portable battery charger.
It’s compact, the LED display showing the charge left in the unit is fantastic, the built-in LED torch works well.
The free plug in LED light was a fantastic surprise – very bright and extremely useful for getting in small spaces or for using as a reading light.
All I’ve this comes with a protective black material carry case which is another great touch.
The charger will charge my iPhone XR a little over 2 times. I’ve noticed that 1% on the charger does equate to roughly 2% of charge in my phone. And it does charge quickly – more quickly that if charging the phone through a wall plug socket.
The only downside is the power bank doesn’t charge as quickly as it charges items plugged into it!
It’s a very small very light compact size that will fit into most pockets very easily. It feels much smaller and lighter than similar compact 10,000mah power banks that I’ve used in the past and so will be very helpful for travelling. (I can now get roughly 30-35 hours of constant internet use out of my iPhone before needing to plug it into a wall). – so this would easily last you a long plane trip or potentially a weekend away if you don’t use the phone all the time.
Overall. I’m very pleased with this charger and can’t rate it highly enough.
I have bought two of these, they are excellent. I love that they show the charge level in a little LED display so you know how much is left in the unit or how much more it needs until it is fully charged.
It has two USB ports for charging your phone/tablet etc. It has a micro USB and a USB C port so you can use either cable to charge it up, i’ve found the USB C charges the unit up quicker then the micro USB. A full charge will charge my Huawei P30 lite phone from 20% to 100% almost twice.
It isn’t bulky or heavy and the net bag that comes with it is sturdy with a toggle to close it making sure it doesnt slip out. I love that it has a light on the side, press the button quickly twice and you have a torch. There is also an extra USB torch which is brighter, you just slot it into the USB port on the charger or in any USB port and you have a bright light. Perfect for camping when needing a night time trip to the loo or a bush.
I have no hesitation in recommending this portable charger, it is small enough to fit in your coat pocket, a hand bag or even your jeans pocket but big enough to have the power to charge devices. They’re a must have for somebody who is in hospital too., it’ll keep their phone charged through the day and can be recharged overnight.
What you get in the package:
– the powerbank
– a fabric pouch for the powerbank
– a micro USB cable (not type C)
– an LED reading light that connects to the powerbank with a USB connection.
A smart looking device with a clever digital battery level indicator. The number makes it very easy to see the amount of charge in the powerbank (without having to figure out blinking lights like the usual powerbank).
You can power 2 usb devices at a time. The powerbank usb sockets do not specify the amperes in the output.
I am not sure if the reading light is a bonus or a standard part of the package. Its quite bright and I find it very useful for reading in the dark or as a light over say a laptop keyboard.
You have the option to charge the powerbank through either a type C port or a micro USB port. I found this useful as I could use a micro USB charger from an old phone ltong around.
The fabric pouch is meabt for the powerbank, but I have managed to put in the cable and the reading light in it as well. This can be useful for instance when traveling.
All in all a good product in a good price.
(N.B. this is an honest review in return for a free sample)
Pros
– Small
– Lightweight
– Pouch included
– Built in torch
– Additional reading light included
Cons
– Overall battery life could be better
Fairly compact and included is a pouch and a reading light which was a nice surprise. There is a display on it showing the charge remaining. It won’t leave you guessing with 4 little LEDs, which most power bank have. There is a small built in torch, not very powerful but can get you out of trouble.
Both of the ports are capable of outputting 5v 3A so your devices should charge quick. You have a choice of recharging the device either by micro USB or USB C at 5v 2A so doesn’t take too long to charge. The casing has striations in the design so you can get a nice grip. The button on the side has two functions. A single press shows the remaining charge, a quick double press turns on the internal torch. The plug in light is plenty powerful as a reading light. It has a flexible neck which means you can adjust it the way you like.
The only downside is the capacity. Now as you may or may not know, any power conversion of power will have wasted energy. The capacity therefore is not 10000mah. That is the capacity of the battery. Charging your phone through it is another transfer of power and therefore energy is lost. The efficiency of the power transfer is what to look out for as it will give you the true power available to your phone. In this case, the power available to your device is 6660mah which gives you a conversion of 66%. It is average in terms of efficiency. There are a lot more efficient powerbanks out there but a lot more expensive as well. Credit is given where credit is due, the manufacturer has at least put the power available to you. Most bypass that information for obvious reasons.
Final verdict
A good little powerbank, portable and given the extras excellent. A little shame about the capacity but it will get you out of trouble. The facility to charge your phone either by USB C or micro USB is excellent, it’s one less cable I have to carry.
The packaging is neat and compact. Accessories include a nice soft carrying pouch and a reading light which was a nice bonus. It has a 3 year warranty and works great.
I bought this because my desk has turned into the household charging station. The number of devices I have to charge is unbelievable. Everything from xbox batteries to headsets to phones to portable consoles. My plan is to stick this in a drawer and anyone that needs a device charged, can plug it in and safely leave it there. Now I just need to charge this power bank at night instead of getting pestered to charge devices all day.
Time will tell if that plan will work out, but worst case, I’ll use it solely as an emergency power source.
I really like the fact that it has 2 input types, so I can charge using USB-C or Micro USB. That means we only ever need to take 1 cable. For example, my wife uses USB-C for her Samsung and I’m still using Micro USB with my LG. Either one of our phone charger cables can be used to charge the power bank and then used as the output cable to charge the phone when we’re out and about.
Overall I’m really happy with my purchase and can see me buying another one (or two) soon.
I was looking for a small but fairly powerful power bank to keep in my work bag for emergencies. My bag is heavy enough as it is so I didn’t want a bulky power bank (I have a couple of those and they aren’t suited to being carried around on a regular basis).
The EAFU power bank is perfect both in term of size and capacity. The unit is approximately 4.0in x 2.5in x 0.9in and weighs approximately 6.5oz. It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and would fit in a trouser pocket without looking too imposing.
In the retail packaging you will find the unit itself, a USB-A to Micro USB cable for charging and a protective carry pouch as well as a small instruction manual. My packaging also contained a goose-neck USB light which was a free gift with the power bank and which can be plugged into and powered from the power bank (or any USB-A port) and provides a very bright light which will be perfect for reading.
The power bank can be charged using Micro USB (using the provided cable) and also USB-C as is becoming more common. There are two USB-A outputs on the device providing a total of 3A charging capacity.
When plugged in (and also when activated) the LED display will show a percentage charge indicating the remaining capacity of the battery. Whilst charging the outer digit will blink indicating the battery is charging.
Also as a convenience feature, a double-click of the power button will activate a single (very bright) LED which can be used as a torch in emergencies.
The power bank has a claimed capacity of 10,000mah which should provide enough juice for several topups of various devices (I have used it to boost the batteries of several Apple devices including an iPhone X and an iPad Mini) plus it should provide considerable charge to a completely flat battery on a multitude of devices but I have not had chance to test this yet. I will update this review with a more thorough testing over the coming days.
Overall I am very happy with the power bank and I’m sure it will get lots of use in our house, especially as my youngest son has a terrible habit of leaving his iPad running and often returns to a flat battery which isn’t ideal on commutes.
