Good value pack of 5 Sharpie pens. They are thicker than ones I have used before. Great for writing on large labels or boxes.
Dry quickly and lids fit on securely. Easy to use and nice range of colours. Would recommend.

It’s a quality pack from Sharpie as always. They always seem to pump out some of the best marker pens around.
The colours are bright and vibrant and the pens write soft and smoothly.
Would recommend these for the crafty ones in your life as they’ll diversify the arsenal.
    5/5

Thought i would pick up this Sharpie Creative Marker set as we often do arts & crafts with the family.
We’ve only got to use these markers a couple of time so far but up till now i have been really impressed with the results.

I just love how versatile these markers are as they work beautifully on a wide variety of surfaces.
So you can let your creativity run wild as they will work on anything form paper, metal, wood, ceramic, glass, and even rock just to name a few.
There’s no need to to prep or prime & the colours will pop regardless if its on a light or dark surface.
Also when using them on paper i didn’t get any bleed though which is really helpful especially if your using these markers in a sketch pad or a colouring book.

You get 12 water based acrylic markers in the set & they come in a nice range of colours to suit most projects.
These markers will make a great addition to your creative arsenal.
They’re perfect for artists, hobbyists or just anyone who loves to add a personal touch to things.

They do appear pastel (lighter colours) on more absorbant surfaces – even if you add more than 2 coats. Darker colours look black sometimes too. But for the most part they’re great to use and the ink comes out easily. The pens are comfortable to hold. Might be a bit big for smaller hands.

Don’t be confused by the brand name Sharpie here – these are paint-based markers and not ordinary Sharpies. There is no volatile smell, and they can write on almost everything.

I tried them on cardboard and even the colours like orange on brown cardboard were vibrant and obvious. Quick-drying, but also hard-wearing, I also tried on acrylic and glass and they worked perfectly – in fact they were a little tricky to remove but it was no chore to get them off, just a little elbow grease.

The second attached picture is that of an acrylic sheet over a metal surface and you can see that the markers are solid and clear and really punch out. Great, I would imagine, for menus and other signage, but also around the house (marking the kids homework days, etc.) and generally arts and crafts.

I had no problems with “drip”, even though they feel like felt-tips with paint on them, they applied cleanly each time and did not “dry up” with continued use, so long as the lids were put back on. I couldn’t find a surface that they didn’t pop out on, though it’s easier to remove from some surfaces that others so I’d be wary of letting children loose with these.

Felt good in the hand – chunkier than a normal Sharpie, I would say – but allowing fine control and producing good lines even with my shaky hands.

Lovely set of paint pens, couldn’t fault them, and at a good price given the amount you get and how well they mark.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely paint pens, very clear and vibrant.

I order these for a friend who does a lot of ‘craft’ activities, she loved them!
The pens are from Sharpie, a well know pen manufacturer and the quality shows.

My friend told me that these acrylic paint pens are very easy to use. She has been using them on her resin creations and they look fantastic. The colours are bright/vivid and if applied correctly they cover evenly.
She was able to do some blending with the paints too to produce further colours and these were also bright and colourful.

The pens are comfortable to hold and the brush like tips make application onto most surfaces simple.
The pens need to be shaken to mix the paint inside and while shaking you can hear a small ball inside helping with the mixing process.

Application onto paper is good and as stated in the description the paint doesn’t bleed through. My friend found that the effects were even better when used on non porous surfaces such as resin, glass and pottery.

Verdict: Quite expensive for 5 pens but the effects are brilliant and crafters will love them.

The addition of this pack of watercolour pens to our art collection has been delightful. The set includes 12 pens, each filled with rich, vibrant hues that bring every piece to life with their lovely shades. These aren’t your ordinary markers; they offer a robust, thick painting effect that mimics traditional watercolour textures without any of the usual mess.

One of the standout features of these pens is their impressive performance on paper. I was particularly pleased to find that the colours do not bleed, even when layers are applied, making them perfect for various art projects. The design of the pens themselves deserves mention too. Each pen boasts a thick circumference, providing a comfortable grip that aids in precise control and ease of use.

Furthermore, the nibs on these pens are just as thoughtfully designed. They are thick and sturdy, allowing for smooth, even coverage and a glide that makes transitioning from one colour to another effortless. Whether used for detailed illustrations or broader washes of colour, these pens handle beautifully without disappointment.

In conclusion, this pack of watercolour pens is a fantastic choice for artists of all levels. The quality of the pens and the stunning results they produce surely make them a worthy addition to any artist’s toolkit.

I have used these both on drawing paper and on canvas. Both worked excellent. The colours are lovely and vibrant, but a light blue would have been useful.
When drawing on canvas the ink does bunch a bit which give a minor bit of texture. The pens tips are nice thickness to give accurate colouring.
    Very happy with these.

This is a set of 5 paint effect sharpie markers, like all sharpie products they are good quality and the colours are vibrant. These are water based and are non bleed so they are a dream to use.
Sharpie are the best but they are not the cheapest,
The quality of the end product shines through compared to cheaper pens.

The vibrant colours of these paint pens are a joy to work with. They apply smoothly on various surfaces, and the paint-like effect they leave behind is impressive. No need for shaking or multiple layers makes them a quick option for spontaneous creativity. I’ve used them on glass and ceramic, and the results are consistently bold and beautiful. These markers have become a go-to for both crafting and personalising gifts, offering a reliable way to add a personal touch to any project.

As a parent with kids who like colouring, finding the right markers is crucial to prevent frustrating bleed-through on papers. Enter the Sharpie Creative Marker Paint Pens, promising no-bleed ink and versatility across various surfaces.

True to its claim, these markers excel in delivering vibrant colours without bleeding through papers. Whether it’s white, black, or other coloured papers, the Sharpie Paint Pens leave a crisp, clean mark, enhancing the colouring experience for young artists.

The range of colours available is commendable, providing ample options to unleash creativity on any canvas. However, the price point might give some pause. While the quality justifies the cost, shelling out for a set of 12 pens can be a bit hefty for some budgets.

Sharpie is well known for good pens and these are what you get. Five bright paint pens with a soft, brush tip that is lovely to use. The colours don’t bleed through white paper. I used two to highlight a wax seal. They were really easy to use, much more precise than the markers I normally use. There was too much paint on the first colour, I should have blotted some off. The colour didn’t rub off the wax which is good. I scribbled some colour on a plate and picked it up with a wet brush and that worked well too. The painting leaves a lot to be desired, the first in decades, but the paint/colour was ok.
I tried the QR code on the pack but there seems to be a problem with it. I got a message saying it wanted to access motion sensors and camera which I allowed but could go no further. I imagine it’s the same as the video on the page but who knows!
These are good pens at a good price.

I do love sharpie pens; for a very long time I stubbornly only used sharpies whenever I was drawing anything, and it is nice to see them producing more and more different kinds of pens. This set is particularly cool; 5 water-based paint markers with brush nibs in some really vibrant colours. They really are vibrant! They absolutely popped; I was especially impressed with the yellow. Sometimes yellow pens can look quite muddy or washed out, but this one was really bright and nice! I had a blast with these. They were receptive to most surfaces, as acrylic paint usually is, so I didn’t have any issue playing about with them on canvas. Would recommend!

Sharpie’s 5 pack of Bullet Acrylic Paint Pens includes 5 fast drying bright colours. The colours are purple, blue, green, red, and yellow. Using them is easy; store horizontally, shake before use — like other acrylic pens. Then you can do your thing. The ink dries quickly on paper and a bit slower on glass and ceramic. On paper they really don’t bleed even on relatively light 80gm/m2 paper. If you let the ink dry it happily layers up; though the yellow doesn’t mask the colour but the others are very good at layering over each other. I’m not a huge fan of the bullet tips; and prefer a brush style tip, but for filling in colour in large areas these are very good. On dark paper they really stand out. If you are looking at experimenting with acrylic pens in your art projects this affordable starter kit is a good introduction. There is also a QR code that takes you to an interactive tutorial on how to use them.

These acrylic paint marker pens from Sharpie are pretty impressive.

On paper, card, and cardboard they work really well. They also work well on stone, although you might need to do a couple of passes.

On glass they were a bit inconsistent and come off really easily — tried a bit of signage on a shop window and didn’t work well.

Once you’ve started using them, they do seem to leak into the caps a bit, so have some tissue ready to clean up the excess. They haven’t yet leaked outside the caps.

..In a few months I will be doing a long convalescence. I’m not really a great craft or arty person but I have been building up a box of all sorts of craft and arty stuff to give me something to do during those months. I ordered these pens so I will have a choice of different types of pens for my projects.

Just from trying them for this review’s photos, I really do like these pens and can see me ordering more colours.

These pens are great in that to me it feels like I’m using an actual paintbrush! No effort involved the nib just, well, brushed across the page, like a brush does. I was surprised and delighted..so am looking forward to using them properly.

I feel It is a good starter set from Sharpie and happy to recommend

I was really excited to try some bright acrylic paint pens which I use for painting miniature models. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed; the bright primary colours all had a slight pastel tone to them and didn’t match the colours on the ends of the pens. The coverage on a dark vinyl surface was variable and lines not that even. Surprisingly, the black, which is usually the colour that performs best on non-permeable surfaces didn’t go down evenly and the plastic seemed to resist the ink. That being said they all performed really well on pale paper. They weren’t at all scratchy, put down plenty of ink with strong pigmented colour even if it wasn’t quite the shade on the end of the pen.The stand out feature though was the no-bleed. I tried them out on some very budget, thin paper and the ink didn’t come through the page at all so I’m really impressed with this.

In this pack you get five acrylic paint pens, the colours include – red, yellow, green, blue and purple. So a good selection of colours in this pack. The pens are easy to use and we tested them on some wooden slices to decorate and then hang up. The ink didn’t bleed and run which was a big bonus and meant we could create some lovely designs on the wood. While I haven’t tried the pens on anything other than wood and paper I’m happy with how well they work so I’m confident the pens will be fine to use on other surfaces too.

Overall this pack of pens are handy and are great to get creative with. I think next we will be using them for rock painting as my children love that activity. You get a good range of colours and the quality is very good. They are easy to hold and colour with, plus the ink dries quicker than I was expecting. Just to be on the safe side though it is best to give them a ten or so minutes drying time.
