Great game, played with 6 people and with just my husband and I and had loads of fun, specially with competitive people. This is a fun game and we enjoy playing it.
Wasn’t clear from the instructions what you do with letters you change when you claim a word from someone else. Do they go back in the bag or in the discard pile?
Don’t start the game with a ‘Q’!
I bought this at Xmas to play and we liked it so much I’ve bought as a gift for others. It’s easy to play but can be challenging too. Definitely worth buying
Bought the game as a Christmas present for my mum (she loves scrabble so thought this was ideal) & it went down a treat! She didn’t stop playing it the whole of Christmas period! Unfortunately, the family now have to brush up on their word game cause she beat everyone! hahah
We love this game. Easier than scrabble, more cunning and sneaky too! Lots of fun. Played with my 10yr old (who can play on her own) and I partner up with my 7 yr old. The tiles are wooden, pretty eco friendly (the company seem to have a good environmental ethos). The kids even made up their own silly games with younger cousins and played for ages! Great game!
This is a really great game, similar to Scrabble but different enough to make it (for me) more interesting. We play the game with our 7 year old and it is both fun and educational for him.
Definitely a great family game!
As a Scrabble lover/player I was looking for a word game that would be quicker for 2 to play. This fits the bill and was quite entertaining though my 89 year old Mum struggled a bit with the ‘shout shenanigrams’ part and quickly spotting swaps she could do but she got there sometimes and if i could see she was struggling, we adapted it slightly so that we just played first to use all their markers so it was ok in the end.
The one negative I would say is that the privacy shields are not great. They are only cardboard which as others have said is disappointing, plus being only folded cardboard they don’t fully shield the letters of the person sitting next to you on a square table.
I guess anything better quality would put the price up and that might have been a deciding factor in manufacture. We’ll have to see what we can come up with at home to make this work better for us.

The game itself is fine but the bits you play with are very small and difficult to hold or pick up if you have problems with your fingers. , like elderly people playing with their grandchildre
I’ve bought this as a present for my Granddaughter’s birthday which is just before xmas. I’m sure she will love it but obviously it hasn’t been played with yet. It arrived on time and was well packaged.
Glad we found shenanigans just in time for those cost winter nights inside, highly recommend!
Excellent game. So much fun to play as a family, love the shenanigrams angle where people can claim your words – keeps the game going! Also really gets the mind working and I love a good challenge. Loved it.
Really fun game for all ages. The excitement in my daughters face when she was close to shouting “Shenanigrams” was priceless. Will definitely be packing it in hand luggage for flights!
Once we played it, we wanted to play again. When we stopped, we couldn’t wait to play it again.
We also love the fact you don’t need a vast vocabulary like Scrabble.
This is going to be a new fav in our house.
So much fun! My boyfriend and I both love word games like wordle and scrabble and were looking for a new game for 2 players. Shenanigrams was perfect; simple to learn and a great laugh (plus SO competitive). Love it!!
