Flight size and stem length that work with your throw is a test and evaluate thing. What works for me mat not work for others. I have been testing several of the all in one flight and stem systems. I have been playing steel tip for about 4 years. I practice almost everyday. Currently my two favorites are the condor axe and the l-style. I have a few issues with the L-style flights warping over time so for the past 8 months it’s been all condor because they are so durable. That durability comes at a cost though, more deflections. I started playing soft tip a few months ago and the deflections seem a lot worse with the lighter darts so I wanted to try these. The Shot version is kind of in-between L-style and condor. Not as rigid as condor but more rigid than l-style.
So far I like them except for a few little issues. After a few games I noticed the flight separating away from the internal carbon rod (see photo). I would push it down, but a few rounds later I would see it again. I’m also having an issue with the entire assembly loosing away from the barrel. The two-piece design doesn’t allow you to tighten the flight as much as the true one-piece style.
It will take some time to determine how durable they are.
For the price, I will probably stick with the systems mentioned earlier.
Good dart flights. Stay in the barrel really well. The blurred colour makes for a really weired look in the board. Nothing wrong with the flights itself just not right for my eyes
