Arrived promptly and it was very easy to fit the pads to the bottom of chair legs etc.
The furniture moved now without scratching the wooden floor but not so easily tgat you are sliding around for example when sitting on a chair.
Very good value for money. The acid test will be how long they last before needing to be replaced.
I use them on the back corners of picture frames.. this protects the wall and makes the picture stay level when it is hung it does not move and can easily be positioned perfectly.
Best felt pads ever for amtico flooring. Have bought these several times and the fact they are screwed on makes them far superior to stick on pads as they don’t come off ever!
Previously had sticky felt things on the bottom of kitchen table and chairs. These had worn and the glue was sticking to the floor and needed scrubbed off.
These arrived really quickly and are super easy to use. Just cleaned the bottom of the chairs and hammered them in. Glide perfectly now. My table is a big pine farm one so have used 4 pins per leg.
The pads came in a box with tyhe associated srcrews to attachh to the bottom of the chair legs. I was using them for high sttols for the breakfast bar and had previously unsuccessfully tried the stick on felt pads. The first thing is that they are sited within a predrilled steel cup which allows easy attachment with a screwdriver to the base of the chair leg. The fel pad is thick and firm, and so cushions the legs on the floor and gives a good level of adhesion and noise reduction when moving the stools around the room. The pads and cups raise the height of the chair/stool by approximately 5 mm, but this doesn’t cause me any problems. Overall, I am very happy with the pads and they are far superior to the usual sticky felt pads that dont last very long.
I purposely wanted thick felt pads to replace worn out plastic feet pegs on patio furniture. I couldn’t get any replacements like the original so decided that thick felt would be the best option. The felt is extremely thick so was very pleased. However, as the furniture is moved around it pulls on the felt and the felt comes apart thus losing half the thickness. Also, the self adhesive glue is very poor and does not adhere at all well. I have just replaced them on the chairs again today and stuck them on with a hot glue gun so will see how that works. I have others on my dining room chairs and they last for years. As they don’t stay when they are put on items that are meant to be moved around I don’t think I would recommend them.
After repeatedly replacing rubber or felt stick-on pads on the bottom of my dining chairs after they came off, I decided it was time for a different approach. After reading the positive reviews I decided these must be worth a try. Wow, what a difference between these and the adhesive variety. Importantly though, these are best for wooden furniture feet or maybe hard moulded plastic, I imagine they would be very difficult fix into metal legs.
These seem to have been very well made. They’re strong, the felt layer is adequately thick, good quality and firmly attached to the metal body, and the screws are concealed once tightened. I do strongly recommend drilling small pilot holes, as the screw heads damage quite easily if they meet too much resistance as they’re being turned, so the pilot holes help to take away that initial pressure of getting into the wood. For the same reason, you should also make sure your screwdriver is a snug fit for the screw.
Now these are on, my chairs glide smoothly with little resistance along my kitchen floor tiles, making movement of the chairs effortless as you sit or get up or move them about. There’s also none of the judder or unsightly marks that you get with rubber stick-on alternatives.
I wish I’d found these ages ago. More than that, I wish my dining chairs had had something like these on them from the start when I bought them.
I definitely recommend these.
