It’s a fairly heavy fabric sealed inside with a surprisingly thick rubber coating. It has a zipper for easy removal and placement. In full disclosure, I got this as a cover for our 24 inch kettle grill and it fits just fine. I will have to be careful not to cover the grill until it is completely cool. It should last a long time. I’m glad I have it. Recommended.
This Solo cover was not bad, but with the price point I was expecting a whole lot more. The cover only works if you are keeping your pizza oven on top of the stand. Because of the size of the pizza oven and where I live, I am not going to leave it outside because it could be carried off very easily. I think the cover’s perfect if you are storing this in a garage or shed to keep it from getting dusty, or if you live in a good neighborhood that doesn’t have any theft.
Solo actually does sell a smaller cover just for the pizza oven. The quality is ok, but not worth what they are asking. Again, if you take the oven off of the stand the cover is way too long for the pizza oven. It’s better than nothing but there’s better quality out there. I have to say that I was disappointed with it. It doesn’t make sense for Solo to sell a $400 pizza oven and a $200 stand, and then sell a substandard cover that’s marked up because their name is on it.
I scored this 4 stars because I was disappointed that it did not cover my entire pi oven cart without taking off the side shelf of the cart and it didn’t fit around the cart tightly otherwise the cover was made of quality.
