Syncwire Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Adapter, 66W PD QC
Syncwire Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Adapter, 66W PD QC 3.0 Fast Charge Car Charger with USB-C Coiled Cable, Wireless FM Radio Adapter, Strong Mics, Bass HiFi Sound, Hands-free Call, Light Switch
Plugged in, tuned fm radio to no station white noise, linked phone and hands free. Integrated charger has rapid charge USB c connection. Sound quality with decent replace door speakers was excellent for hearing callers and hands free calling for a 2004 model toyota
Bough another to retrofit an 01 Ford and it works fine with that too.
Can be difficult to find a unused fm frequency in an urban area. Static during a call may indicate station interference.
Working great, perfect for cars that don’t have an aux or a way to use Bluetooth. Lots of reviews have mentioned that it’s very quiet, I assume that’s so you don’t have too much range – you don’t want some random people hearing your phone call on their radio as you drive past them lol
This clever transmitter device by Syncwire allows an older car to connect via Bluetooth to a mobile phone or tablet so you can play music or make calls. It can also connect via USB to a USB stick flash drive or mp3 player. There is a coiled USB-C cable which can extend to charge a phone or tablet nearby. It has a USB-A port and PD-30W fast charging USB-C port so you can charge multiple devices from it.
It connects via the cigarette lighter socket which powers it and also lights it up like a discoball. Luckily you can press the blue “B” button to turn the lights off so they don’t become a distraction while driving. The blue “B” button can also be used to increase the bass, much like the “superbass” setting on 80s and 90s hifis.
Bluetooth pairing is straightforward and quick. Once your device is paired, you can tune it in to an unused frequency on your car stereo.
It can be used to make handsfree calls while driving via the big “Handsfree call” button, play back Sat Nav instructions from your maps app on your phone, or listen to music. Inbuilt noise Suppression (CVC) technology and echo-cancellation means you can have a really good sound quality on your calls.
The sound quality replication is good, as long as you set the volume to max on the transmitter and then adjust via your car stereo.
If you have an older car without bluetooth, these charger/bluetooth units are essential. I have tried a few of these over the past 6 months looking for the perfect unit. This one from Syncwire is good, but not for me.
Strengths:
* Very easy to set up thanks to the clear instructions.
* Good build quality, and it was reassuringly tight in my 12v socket (I had to twist to release)
* Has USB C as well as standard USB for charging.
* Built in cable for charging your device
* Low distortion through the radio (car radio must be tuned to a free channel)
* Call quality fine
Not so strong points:
* The lack of controls (due to the small size) really mean you have to use voice activation on your phone.
* No U-Disk support. I prefer to simply pop in a USB drive with songs on to save messing with the phone. (photo shows an MP3 USB drive inserted to test, but no way of playing songs)
There are no serious weaknesses, and if you are looking for a way to listen to songs on your phone or make/reciev calls through your car stereo, this is an excellent choice.
I’m using this in my Spanish Hyundai i10 & it works really well .
To set it up all I had to do was plug it into the cigarette lighter socket & search for SWXC96X on my phone . this paired instantly & i just had to tune the radio into i think it was 98.7FM or 97.8 (I’m getting old you know) & there it was my music playing The sound quality was great with no apparent interference . I was able to change tracks by simply flicking the right hand knob right or left with a finger and change the volume by flicking up & down.
This particular unit has a coiled USB-C cable attached which is great as it is literally a short throw to where my phone is mounted and this Fast Charged that with ease . The other USB port is used for my Sat Nav unit.
I haven’t used the phone option yet as nobody has called when I’m using it but i’m sure it will be fine.
The LED lights that dance around to the music are a ice added touch and look cool at night.
The unit as long with displaying the MHz it is transmitting too also shows the state of your car battery charge which is a nice bonus !
In general i’m really happy with this unit so far & cannot grumble at all !
Hope this helps …..
This is a pretty good transmitter for the price, especially with its charging power.
Set up is easy, being virtually plug and play except for needing to tune the radio. The sound quality is decent though I personally can’t be sure the bass thing made any difference.
It does appear to have a fast charge on it, though I always worry about how these in car fast chargers will effect the car battery…
The cable is a little annoying though because of the coil in it. It’s not ideal if you’re 12v plug is in the dashboard as you have a chunky coild of cable dangling there.
Unlike (some) other reviewers, I don’t simply copy & paste information from the advert. (I’m sure you really don’t need (or want) to read all the description yet again!) I want to try and give you my own personal views of it (good or bad) so you can decide for yourself whether to buy the item or not. (The fact that I’ve received this product free of charge through Amazon Vine has no influence at all. I will “tell it as it is!”)
Apart from mobile phones, all these Bluetooth radio transmitter devices are my favourite gadgets. They can totally change your driving experience, when using an older vehicle with nothing more than an FM radio in it. I have owned a few of these Bluetooth radio transmitter devices, and I must say, at this moment in time, this one is my favourite!
This Syncwire transmitter not the cheapest one, and it does the same things that all the other ones do (make/receive phone calls, listen to music/podcasts off my phone etc), but this one does have two features not included in the others: It can charge 3 other devices all at the same time, and it has a button that I can ‘long press’ to turn off the light on the front. (I don’t usually mind the lights on all these devices, but sometimes they do get annoying when driving at night).
So, at the current price of 19.99p I really think this device is great value for money and I can highly recommend it.
Note:
I have not uploaded any photos as there are loads already on here, and mine would not be adding anything new!
This device its great and a must have if you don’t have Bluetooth in your car. A plus having a charger for your phone with the new USB-C port.
The Device arrived very well packed in a branded box, brings the adaptor with coiled cable & instructions booklet.
Super easy to install and configure in your mobile. And in the car just use the lighter port and it’s working you synchronise the station you prefer on your radio and it will use that station to send music from your mobile to the radio sound speaker.
The sound quality is great and the charger charges your phone quickly.
I do Recommend.
This is a very versatile and useful device to have in any car. Not only it serves as a car charger, which can be used to charge simultaneously 3 devices, but also it’s serves as bluetooth transmitter, which you can use as to listen to the radio, or cast me music from your phone or other Bluetooth devices. Beyond the above features this device could also be used to perform some hands-free operations audio car or your phone, such as monitoring the lights in your car and being able to do hands-free calls.
Setting up the device is very easy all you have to do is to synchronize the FM waves on these device and on your car FM radio station. Set up is done once and the device is automatically connected next time you want to use it. The device has one 36WQ USB-C the built-in cable, one PD 30W USB-C port, and one QC 3.0 USB-A port, accommodating simultaneous charging of three devices in total.
I found it to be a very useful device!
The Syncwire Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Adapter came nicely packed in a branded box. You get the adaptor with coiled cable & instructions booklet.
This is a good adaptor to connect via FM frequency in the car. You need to select a unused frequency in FM and set the adaptor to same frequency and it automatically connects. Now you can play music on your phone and you can hear it through the car speakers. If you connect your phone via the Bluetooth to the adaptor you can also route your calls through it though I got a bit of background noise on the call. I will have to retry it maybe I need to choose another frequency. The adaptor is small, lightweight & feels well built. You can built in USB C cable for fast charge. You also get USB A & C ports in the adaptor which fast charge your devices, so technically it can charge 3 devices at the same time. The adaptor also has an ambient LED light that can be turned off if not needed.
Good adaptor for cars which dont have this functionality to play music through the phone.
An excellent product if you have an older car/van with no bluetooth connectivity on your radio.
You sync your phone to the device over bluetooth and then pair the device with your radio by tuning your radio and this device to an unused FM frequency. The device then transmits on that FM frequency just like a radio station would so that you can listen in your car.
The sound quality is great and love the additional bass boost feature.
The LED light can be a little distracting in the dark whilst driving but they provide a button to be able to switch it off if you want to.
Easy to use and a great price. Another great product from Syncwire!
Very easy to use & set-up. Once I’d found a free frequency had no problems setting up with my phone & broadcasting to my car. The sound quality is good.
Fits nicely in the car charger & charges my phone quickly when connected.
Overall very good value for money if you need a solution to connect your phone to your car.
Looking to upgrade your car with hands-free calling but don’t want to break the bank? This plug-and-play transmitter could be the answer!
What’s to Love:
Simple Setup: Just plug it into your cigarette lighter and connect via Bluetooth. No messy wiring or installation required.
Eye-Catching Design: Enjoy a subtle light show that adds a touch of personality to your dash.
Affordable Upgrade: Get hands-free calling at a fraction of the price compared to built-in systems.
Dual Charging: Power up two devices simultaneously with the USB and USB-C ports.
Not-So-Perfect Points:
Fixed Coil: The attached curly cord can obstruct a clean dashboard setup.
Overall:
For drivers seeking a budget-friendly way to add hands-free calling and charging options, this transmitter is a solid choice. While the attached cord might not be ideal for everyone, the ease of use, affordability, and added features make it a worthwhile consideration.
This adapter plugs into your cigarette lighter socket. It connects to your phone by Bluetooth. Tune your car radio to an unused FM frequency and then select that frequency on the gadget. You can now listen to your phone on your radio. This includes phone calls as well as audio from MP3s and streaming services. To make phone calls properly “hands free” the adapter has a microphone. A multifunction button includes ‘accept’ and ‘hang-up’ functions.
To keep your phone charged the adapter has USB A and C sockets, and a trailing lead with a USB C plug. This trailing lead is rather untidy if not needed. There is only one problem I have experienced. My cigarette lighter socket is deeply recessed next to what was once the ashtray but now functions as a receptacle for loose change. It doesn’t make operation as easy as it should be.
My 18 year old daughter has just passed her driving test and has bought herself a little 2003 Toyota Yaris.
21 years ago, I don’t think connecting your phone to your car was even a thing, but it certainly is now. That’s where this little, Bluetooth 5.3 FM transmitter car adapter/charger, by Syncwire comes into its own, it bridges the 20+ year technology gap, allowing her to listen to her favourite playlists stored on her iPhone 12 through the cars speakers, while simultaneously charging the phone via the handy USB *type C* charging cable that is built into the transmitter. (*Note* She did have to buy a Type-C to Lightning conversion connector to be able to use phone charging function, however she was able purchase one quite cheaply on Amazon and it now charges perfectly. Happy to recommend.
The Syncwire Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Adapter is a top-notch accessory for vehicles. With its 66W PD QC 3.0 Fast Charge Car Charger featuring a USB-C coiled cable, it ensures rapid charging while on the move. Offering wireless FM radio transmission, it delivers exceptional sound quality with strong mics for hands-free calls. Additionally, its light switch feature adds convenience. Overall, it’s a reliable and high-performance device for enhancing your car audio experience.
This plug and play transmitter is a very attractive bit of Kit for a Vehicle that is not equipped with hands free technology.
Simply plug in to your cigar lighter and connect using bluetooth.
Once power is connected you will be treated to a gentle light show that rotates around the edge of the unit.
once connected you will have a great little hands free unit, a few years ago these units cost a lot of money so this really is a good way of obtaining a great unit at a bargain price.
On the front face you will find two charging outlets, a USB and a USBC.
My only moan about this unit is the curly lead that hangs down and cannot be removed which takes away the clean dashboard look that aside its 4 stars from me
This Charger/Transmitter is quite well made with an all plastic body. It fits very firmly in the Car power socket.
Setup was generally straightforward except for the fact that the FM signal from the transmitter seemed really weak. I tuned the transmitter to 99.9 but the car radio couldn’t automatically seek and lock on to the signal – it skipped right past. So, I had to manually tune the car radio – which required a delve into the Car Owners’ Manual..
Once tuned, I initiated Bluetooth pairing of the Transmitter to my phone, which was straightforward – Device SW-XC965 in my Bluetooth device selection list.
With the Car Tuning and Bluetooth pairing done, I called the wife.. Normally I run my car’s radio volume at Vol 5-10. To get a decent volume for the call, I turned the Transmitter volume to Maximum (30) but I still needed to turn the Car radio volume all the way up to 24, which would normally be deafening.
With an active call, I liked the fact that the Transmitter showed Cal (see pic) and the phone showed SW-XC965 as the output device for audio. The signal was clear with no noise my end and my wife could also hear a clear noise-free signal on her mobile.
Playing Music through the Transmitter to the car radio/speakers was quite clear, though you have to choose a single radio station or fiddle with the small tuner button on the tarnsmitter. The Bass button really richened up the Bass – it was a bit tinny without.
Charging was good overall. I tested this Charger with a USB-C charge tester (ASIN: B09Z2XF4Z6) and a USB-A charge tester (ASIN: B0B96X5Z1S) – see pics. The tethered, coiled, 1.5m/5ft USB-C cable, which is rated for 36W, delivered about 19W to my Samsung Note 20, which registered ‘Super Fast Charging’ mode. I like the coiling as it means the cable will take up any slack and make a clean straight run to a Vent, Dash or Windscreen mounted phone mount – no flappy excess cabling getting in the way…It also leaves two charging ports for other things, one USB-C PD30 and one USB-A QC3.0 for a claimed maximum charging power of 66 Watts. I also tried charging the phone through these ports and the USB-C PD30 port delivered over 19W and Super Fast Charging mode through a known-good USB C-to-C cable (see pic). The USB-A port delivered about 15W and Fast Charging mode through a known-good USB A-to-C cable (see pic).
The transmitter has a bunch of functions accessible via various short, long or directional presses of the main Call/Music toggle switch. It’s all in the manual (see pic).
Included in the box is a Warranty card stating 3 years from Date Of Purchase.
Pros :
Great call quality
Can play music through transmitter when no active calls.
Good charging options
Excellent fit in Power socket
Latest BT 5.3 technology
Colourful surround LED, if wanted.
Cons:
Weak transmitter signal means car radio volume needs to be turned high
Weak transmitter signal meant (for me) manual tuning of car radio
All plastic body may get hot with heavy charging of devices
In summary: A great, versatile Transmitter-Charger, let down by weak FM signal to car radio.
The Bluetooth FM transmitter car adapter is a multifunctional accessory for car users, covering various needs such as fast charging, wireless FM radio, and hands-free calls. However, the light switch feature may be too bright for nighttime use, and occasional interference could affect sound quality. It serves as a practical addition but minor drawbacks may impact the overall experience.
This car adaptor arrived boxed well and is very high quality and looks nice too. The cable is strong and sturdy and the adaptor is easy to install and connected easily within my car and the instructions are clear and easy to follow; it’s a great addition to your Journey. Good value for money due to the nice quality of the adaptor.
I love this one, I’m quite fussy with my car adapters but this one really makes me happy. Sad, I know.
It was very simple to connect to my phone, very easy to set the FM frequency, and has good range and sound. No glitching or skipping that I’ve noticed.
The charging cable is quite tight out of the box, I expect it’ll loosen up more over use, and it’s not really a problem depending on how close your phone mount is.
The little joystick makes it very easy to change songs etc, too, and I love the light pattern. Very happy.
This is a great idea for any car that does not have Bluetooth but has an auxiliary jack socket. I used this in a Mini with a basic radio which I tuned into the Bluetooth device on the frequency displayed on the device. Then paired it with my phone and bingo. Crisp sounding music came from my phone via the car radio and out through the car speakers. It also has a display to show the frequency that you need to tune to. It looks very flash with the multi coloured LED lights. It also has a magnetic holder so you can remove it easily when the car is not used. It works very well and can also be used as a hands free to answer the phone. You can connect three devices to it at the same time as it has a coiled cable with a USBC plug for fast charging. It also has a normal USB and a USBC socket. The bass booster makes a significant difference.
I’ve been using a Bluetooth FM transmitter in various different cars over the years and they get better and better. This is prob ly o e of the best ones yet.
The design of the plug means that it sits quite securely in my 12v socket. It’s also not too bulky, so is good for places where there’s not much room.
This connects up easily and the FM transmitter works well. There’s no interference and the signal seems strong. It’s easy to change frequency, should you need to do so.
The attached cable makes it easier to plug your phone in to fast charge. It’s a coiled spring like cable, so is ideal for putting your phone in a tray or even potentially stretching it to a dashboard mount.
You can’t change the colour – it’s permanently a rainbow pattern. It’s easy to turn off though.
Overall, a good car FM transmitter, which I’ll be using as my main one now.
FM transmitter car adapter is equipped with two PD 3.0 and QC3.0 fast charge ports, including the 1.8m/6ft built-in coiled USB-C cable. With a combined power output of up to 66W, it can charge three devices at the same time and is compatible with iPhone, Samsung, and more devices. It featuring a dual-mic system, this transmitter incorporates CVC noise suppression and echo-canceling tech, allowing for clearer call quality. Manage calls effortlessly with options to answer, end, or reject, all while enjoying a hands-free experience.
This is Bluetooth FM. transmitter it fits most of the smartphones and more devices that are equipped with Bluetooth functions. Such as iPad, iPhone 15 14 13 12 11 Pro Max Mini, iPod, Samsung MP3 player, tablet, and Android Smartphones. And all vehicle types including cars, vans, and trucks (12-24V). The car charger is quite fast charging the iPhone and easy to use.
The Syncwire Bluetooth FM Transmitter impresses with its 66W PD QC 3.0 fast charge, USB-C coiled cable, and wireless FM radio capabilities. Strong microphones guarantee clear hands-free calls, and the added light switch is a convenient feature. While not flawless, it’s a solid choice for those seeking efficient charging and HiFi sound on the road.
Nice little unit which I got mainly for the hands free feature. The radio and fast charge functions are just another bonus.
It has the latest BT chip installed and noise cancelling tech with dual mics. You can charge up to 3 devices at a time, which is more than enough for my needs.
It has an LED light display that can be on or off to suit your needs, plus stereo and bass boost features also. The coiled lead is handy as it keeps the lead nice and tidy too.
NOTE:
You may have to turn your ignition to the ON position, or start the engine up to power up some of the sockets it requires.

I just cant get over the speed of technology month by month, this is the latest all in one Bluetooth 5.3 FM transmitter Car Adapter, with USB-C coiled cable which stretches to 6ft [1.8m], for charging of 3 devices at the same time if need be, (66watts max), and, this is something new and exciting to me,
DUAL microphones for CVC Noise Cancellation Technology, so you will sound so much better without all that car and traffic noise when using hands free mode.
The main ‘dashboard’ contains a USB A and USB C socket, Volume + or -, a CHANNEL button, and a button for ‘Answer’, ‘Hang Up’ ‘Reject or Long Press for ‘Handset Hands Free mode’.
It so looks the part too, with an LED ambient light switch, suitable for many many devices too.
It was perfect for my rather old car with old FM car radio, so once you have paired the device with your phones’ blue tooth, (easy enough once the device is plugged into the cars 12v lighter socket, your phone will detect a new blue tooth device, and simply say ‘yes’ to allow it.
You then choose a suitable FM frequency on your car radio which is not used, in my area it is 87.5 or 107.7, it will be DIFFERENT in your area.
And that is it, your phone will then play in really exceptional quality on the car radios’ 2 or 4 speaker system, and incoming calls are also directed to the car radio speakers during ‘hands free’ mode. Such incredible technology at a really good price too.
Here is a very quick set up that I used:
1. When device is plugged into car it flashes “bt”, that means ‘blue tooth pairing’ mode. SO enable blue tooth on your phone, and look for SW-XC965.
The device is now ready to transmit your music and calls from your phone.
2. Now set up your car radio to a blank FM frequency, so on device press CH button till it flashes, then push the large multi function button left or right to set the frequency. In my example it is 107.7fm, it WILL be different in your area.
3. For charging your phone tablet etc, you can use the ‘PD type C’ or ‘USB type A’ sockets or even the 1.8metre ‘curly USB type C’ plug.
(By the way, once all this is set up, the device remembers the settings for next time when it is plugged back in again)
Awesome quality of music too in every way.
I have included 13 images , and 5 of them show the device being set up and in use too, and thank you again for an exceptional product.
