In 1975, we were born in a garage. In 2021, we’re in bathrooms everywhere. Originally called Triton Aquatherm and based in Atherstone, Warwickshire. In 1986 the business became Triton Showers before being acquired by Norcros Holdings in 1987. By the late 1980’s, there were over 2 million Triton shower products in UK homes – a figure that’s only grown and grown year on year. Our products are always easy to find too. We remain as passionate and dedicated as ever to bringing our customers incredible style and functionality. For 4 months, I couldn’t get the temperature to change range, it was on High (55 degrees). I randomly put in extra effort to move the temperature and it works. Great range of temperatures and looks well. Really happy with the purchase
I lobe this shower. We bought a mira sport but amazon sent us a broken one which we found out after installation. We lost faith in mira and swapped to this triton. It worked straight out the box, no messing about. It gets to a very hot temperature and maintains good pressure.
The rain shower is really nice and atmospheric. Only downfall is after about 5 minutes using the shower head the rain shower starts dripping a tiny bit. If you’ve been using it then you don’t notice because the water is warm but if you’ve not used it during your shower you get a drop of cold water on your back every 5 seconds or so. I’m using it as a timer to say I’ve been in 5 minutes and it’s time to get out hahaha.

One of the standout features of the Triton DU91 Amore DuElec is its EasyFit technology, which allows for quick and simple installation. It also features a phased shutdown function, which flushes out hot water from the shower before turning it off to prevent limescale buildup.
If replacing an existing electric shower it will, in most cases, use the same electrical and water locations and may only require one or two new screw holes drilled. Service connection is facilitated by the clever design which allows part of the casing to be removed so as to allow easy access to the connection points, the design also allows versatile flexibility to connect both water and electrical supplies from different entry points within the unit.
Fitting as a replacement shower is not beyond the capabilities of a competent and experienced DIY’er provided they closely follow the fitting guide and instructions. Particular attention should be given to the electrical requirements and you should check the existing cable size and rating, this is a 9.5kw shower and as such will require a minimum cable size of 10mm. This MUST be on a dedicated 45amp mcb/fuse-protected circuit and safeguarded by a 30ma RCD and the final electrical connection must be via a 45a double pole isolating switch. If you don’t understand the foregoing and you are not qualified or very experienced you must consult a professional electrician and, at the very least, get them to check the installation before commissioning the shower.

If installing as a new shower from scratch, I would strongly advise obtaining the services of a qualified installer/electrician/plumber.

This shower looks very smart and the dual shower action is brilliant. Operation is simple and efficient with temperatures remaining stable, even when water is being drawn elsewhere in the house there is barely any perceptible fluctuation. Touch the illuminated icons on the dial to turn it on/off and select operating mode, turn the large central knob to adjust the temperature. The large overhead shower head gives a gentle, luxurious, rain effect while the handset produces three selectable modes at higher pressures. The handset and rain-head can be used together or independently.
As with all Triton products the ‘Amore’ comes with a standard two-year guarantee which is extendable up to five years.

Looks like the brand is well established it can be a good long term investment in a quality electric shower, which this seems to be.
The only downside is that you certainly need an electrician to come a long and help you with installation. I believe it is typical for such products.
I’ve fitted a few Mira and Creda electric showers over the years. This is the first time I’ve fitted a Triton electric shower.
First impressions – it’s sleek, compact and stylish. The box has all the fittings and fixtures needed to install this electric shower.
I already had the water pipes and electric cables already fitted from my previous Mira shower. Therefore, I only needed to drill a few holes as the screws went into the wall in different places. I easily connected the water and electric cables and I was all ready to go.
I’ve always had a single shower head on my electric showers so using this overhead rainfall one was a luxury. It’s incredibly relaxing and with this unit, you can use both rainfall and normal shower heads simultaneously. The normal one has more water pressure, making it easier to wash off soaps and shampoos.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the on/off switch – the button is very small. My previous electric shower units had a much bigger button, making it easier to see and use. I’m long sighted and evidently, I don’t wear my varifocal glasses when I’m in the shower therefore, I really struggle to see the button. I have to feel around that section to find the button which is frustrating and annoying.
I have to wait to save the money it’s going to cost to have this fitted, I thought it was a simple wire in job but that was me being daft. It’s going to cost a few hundred pounds just for the cabling and then another few hundred for the fitting. So bare that in mind.
The unit itself is small and compact and won’t take up much space at all. The over head waterfall shower I hung up to illustrate comes up and right over so if this is going over the bath it reaches far in and won’t flood the place. The smaller one is just a standard one for quick showering. The fittings are all of good quality as far as I can see everything you need (apart from cable) is there. I will have to check back in once it’s fitted to show it working but I can’t wait to get it installed. Really nice.
