Did not know what to expect when ordering this speaker but given it was only 25 though it’s worth a try. I was surprised by the quality of the sound and feel of the product. Only had it a day so can’t comment on long term build quality but would definitely recommend i

This is a very impressive little portable speaker. First off, it sounds great and produces a very impressive range of sound for such a small device.

It’s easy to connect and remembers your phone so connects very quickly the next time you turn it on.

It’s a really nice compact design and the buttons make it very easy to control.

I bought this speaker to listen to music when painting this winter but before hand tried it in the kitchen I work in, even with noisy fans on I can still hear the music half way across the kitchen definitely better than expected

I recently purchased this product from Amazon and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase.

The packaging was excellent – it arrived in a sturdy box with ample cushioning to protect it during transit. This attention to detail gave me confidence that the product inside would be in good condition, and I was not disappointed.

In terms of manufacture quality, it’s decent but not outstanding. While it doesn’t scream luxury, it also doesn’t feel flimsy. It seems to be built to last for regular use, which is what I was hoping for at this price point.

Considering the price I paid, I believe it offers reasonable value for money. It serves its purpose well and fits within my budget. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and haven’t encountered any major issues.

Overall, if you’re looking for a product that comes well-packaged, offers decent quality, and is reasonably priced, this could be a good option for you. Just keep in mind that it might not have the premium feel of higher-end alternatives, but it gets the job done without breaking the bank

I have had a tronsmart speaker before and this model blows me away.

    Loud loud loud

Cracking bass and some flashing lights to put a cherry on the top.

Get it and if you don’t like which is such a slim chance

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m really impressed with this speaker. My son has a JBL one that’s similar and he loves it but not when we borrow it all the time! This one has solved that problem and in my opinion it is just as good. It’s easy to operate and connect Bluetooth to your phone.
To switch on you press and hold the power button which makes a sound to let you know it’s on. The coloured lights also come on.

I think the sound is brilliant and has a real good bass to it. It turns up to a good volume level and looks pretty cool too in my opinion.

It’s USB chargeable and so far we haven’t found it to drain too quickly.

As I say, I’m really impressed with this speaker and would have no problem recommending it. 5/5

For its size this is a really nice Bluetooth speaker. It doesn’t have masses of bass but what it does have is nicely balanced and doesn’t have that awful boomy quality you get when manufacturers try to squeeze too much from smaller speakers so for me I think it’s a great sound. The rest of the frequency range is pretty clear and very easy to listen to. I even like the blinky lights which I thought might be a bit gimmicky (and maybe they are really) but they’re quite subtle and fun. Anyway you can turn them off by double clicking of you want to.

My wife has a tendency to listen to music on her phone, which sounds dreadful so I’ve paired this to her phone and it’s a massive improvement. Now if only I could get her to actually turn it on when she starts playing something!

The device itself feels quite premium and robust. It should easily cope with being moved around for use in the garden, and for travelling, etc. The buttons are easy to use and easy to understand. I got it up and running before bothering to read the user manual, although it is worth doing so because there are a few things you can tweak (like turning the lights off) that are less obvious.

There’s an ap you can download to configure the EQ settings, which is fairly basic but works fine. I found the EQ only made a slight difference but I ended up settling on the default option anyway. It might be useful to change it for different types of listening like music, audio books, podcasts, etc.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery impressed with this speaker, great sound quality with a small hint of bass with barely any distortion/fuzz even at full volume and really clear and crispy highs.

Usually these Bluetooth speakers can lack in one area of their audio whether that’s insufficient bass or sometimes tinny sounding high notes but this is well rounded the bass isn’t very strong but it’s still sounds great overall!
I actually didn’t realise that the speaker had an app, I downloaded it and found I could easily control the EQ balance and quickly got the speaker in a great balance with increased bass! Not rattling Bass but still much better than the default balance you get without using the app.

You can use it flat lengthways or you can enhance the bass a little more by positioning it vertically to make one of the subs direct the bass into the surface you’re listening on.

The speaker is fully waterproof and has an attached chord so it can be tied onto a backpack for example for hands free listening

    Listening time from 100%
    11am – 12:40pm
    5:06pm – 5:54pm
    10:15am – 11:33am
    12:16pm – 4:25pm
    6:03pm – 7:39pm
    1:47pm – 4:20pm
    7:27pm – 9:07pm
    11:17am – 11:40am

15 hours 40 total use time from full battery at medium volume and lighting on.
Not exactly the 24 hours it claims but that could have been tested at the minimum volume without the lighting active still pretty good though for a 4000mAh battery!

    Charging:
    0% @ 11:42am
    100% @ 5pm
Around 5 hours to charge from dead battery but you can still use it while it’s charging

For 40 it really is a great speaker! You get value and some really nice sound quality!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Value & Sound Quality!

Love this little speaker, it does a wonderful job of improving the sound quality from my laptop, phone and tablet.

It’s small in size, but has a bit of weight to it so doesn’t feel cheap or plasticky. As it’s supposed to be waterproof it would be safe to take in the shower as condensation shouldn’t effect it. Also great for the beach or poolside.

Very easy to connect via Bluetooth, and the sound quality is great to my – admittedly heathen – ears. Obviously you aren’t going to get the quality you’d get from expensive top brands, but the sound quality is perfectly fine for most uses, and for the price it’s pretty impressive.

I also connected it to my old TV and experienced improved sound. What was interesting is when I use my earpods via Bluetooth (any of them) I cannot get the volume on the TV to go higher, not even using the remote control! No idea why as the earpod volume can be changed on other devices. It’s a pretty old TV so that could be why, but using it with this speaker if I increase the volume on the speaker, it will also rise in my earphones, so that was a bonus!

If you want true stereo sound you can get 2 of them and connect one to the other and they’ll appear as one stereo unit. While I’m quite happy with the sound from the one, might actually buy another so I can try the stereo effect with my projector for movie nights.

There are syncing lights at the bottom ends, which are nice but they are easy enough to turn off thankfully, as the battery charge will last longer without. There is also an App you can download and use it to sync the lights and tweak the equalizer and bass, but I don’t like messing with apps and I’m quite happy with the sound quality ‘as is’. If you want to tweak and get more from it, then the App will help you achieve the best sound that pleases your ears.

It’s an excellent little speaker for the price as far as I’m concerned, and I’m very happy with this.

The Transmart T7 Lite is an impressive little speaker for the price (39.99 at time of review). Sound quality isn’t premium, but neither is the price.

Controls on the genuinely lightweight speaker are simple – the main power button turns the unit on or off with a long press and alters or turns off the rather gimmicky lights with short presses. Volume controls are simple up and down buttons. Bluetooth connectivity works well, a simple button press on the speaker puts it into pairing mode and I had no issues connecting either to a PC or a SanDisk MP3 player. Both devices remembered the speaker so later use didn’t require re-pairing at all. The distance the speaker can be from the source is good.

Sound quality is OK and I’d say it’s probably “good” once you factor in the price level. It doesn’t compare with an expensive speaker (I compared against an Ultra Ears Megaboom 3), but it would really be realistic to expect it to. The volume it can produce is good, with no real distortion, but it’s limited compared to other speakers I have.

From the box, the sound is OK with decent bass but an unimpressive top-range so percussion lacks bite and vocals sound dull. There’s an option to go to “Sound Pulse” mode by a single button press – this opens up the sound so bass remains and there’s a batter treble response but at the cost of mid-range volume. Upping the volume of the speaker helps, but you shouldn’t need to do that to get good audio quality. Personally, I’d not listen to anything with the standard settings as the sound is flat and would only use the speaker with Sound Pulse on, accepting the slightly missing mid-range response.

Overall – a really good speaker for the price in terms of functionality and sound quality. It’s not as good as speakers twice or three times the cost, but as a budget-priced option I’d say it’s recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOut of the box, I was pretty impressed with this little speaker. It’s fairly lightweight, but it has a really good sound to it. Set up is very easy. Just turn the speaker on and search for it in your device’s bluetooth settings. On the speaker, you have several buttons – An on/off button, volume up and down, bluetooth on / off and a special sound pulse EQ button! It is possible to stereo pair two speakers. I only have one speaker, so am unable to test this out or comment on it.

In terms of styling, this speaker appears to be modelled on the JBL flip, complete with the hanging strap on one end. There are coloured LED lights on either end of the speaker. I initially thought these were a little tacky, but I do actually quite like them. If you want a more discreet speaker, then maybe avoid this. If you want flashing, blingy lights, then head this way! The lights and the EQ can be customised through the Tronsmart app. You can also turn the light completely off if you wish.

The sound was impressive enough for a cheap bluetooth speaker, with more than enough volume for outside listening. I listened to it at half volume to do some painting outside. I wouldn’t want to turn it up any louder for fear of annoying the neighbours. I suspect that, if you lined this speaker up with the higher end offerings from ?Sonos or Bose, you would notice its failings. Without these to compare against though, this handles itself well enough.

I was listening to the speaker for half an hour before it started acting strangely. The music started crackling and cutting out. It sounded like a bluetooth cnnection issue, but the phone was right next to the speaker. I disconnected the phone and connected it again and the sound was fine. Shortly after, the crackling started up again. In order to troubleshoot, I took the speaker upstairs and put it on charge to ensure that it was fully juiced up. Following charging, I then tried again. I streamed music for about 45 minutes and I didn’t get any crackling or cutting out. For the time being, I shall put this down to an empty battery. Any further issues and I shall update this review. for the time being though, all good and happy to recommend this little speaker.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems like a capable speake

Ordered this for use in the garden and for taking away with us, it’s a reasonably sized speaker but is very lightweight which makes it perfect for travel. It delivers really good sound quality and is loud enough for what I needed, you couldn’t have a full-blown party with this speaker but for a small gathering in the garden or for use by a pool it’s more than good enough.
It has a sound pulse feature which I believe is there to provide a more detailed sound quality, you can definitely hear a slight difference when you turn this feature on so it does seem to improve the sound quality.
The speaker itself was really simple to connect to my iPhone, I just went into my bluetooth settings and it came up straight away, I didn’t actually download the app until after I had already paired.
The app isn’t great. It allows you to change the type of lights and allows you to select the sound pulse, deep base, classical, rock or customise the music equaliser. It also allows you to skip songs, rewind or change the volume but for me the app seems a bit pointless, I can control the volume and skip songs on both my phone music app or via the speaker itself. The app also doesn’t tell you the name of the song currently playing so for me it just feels a little bit pointless.

Another thing that’s a bit annoying is there is a plus and minus button on the speaker, this allows you to turn the volume up and down, however, if you hold the button down for too long it will skip or rewind the song, I was trying to turn the volume up from low to high and ended up skipping multiple songs despite short pressing the buttons. I think because I was trying to do it so quickly it didn’t register I wasn’t holding the button down but again, you can control the volume via your phone which is likely what I will do going forward.

I think overall for the price this Is an okay speaker, the app is a bit pointless and not really needed and the buttons aren’t the best but in terms of sound quality and weight I cannot complain.

This little Bluetooth speaker is great for using by the pool or when away on holiday and you want some nice music that plays well and sounds good.
The speaker is a good size and feel well made with fun light display on each end and simple easy to use controls down the side. At the top of the row of controls and hidden under and silicone cover you have a micro-SD card slot to play music from a memory card and the charging port which I’m happy to see is the modern and universal USB-C port (charging cable is included).
The rest of the controls are waterproof so can be operated if your hands might be wet and it has a carry/hanging strap at the other end of the speaker controls.
Pairing to your phone was quick and easy and music playback controls are nice and responsive.
Overall, for 39.99 it’s a good little speaker that works well but the price needs to be more competitive.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI ordered this portable rechargeable Bluetooth speaker specifically for those enjoyable summer days. What makes it even more appealing is its multipurpose nature, allowing it to be used in various settings such as parks, beaches, and even the kitchen. Setting it up using the Bluetooth function is remarkably simple. As an added bonus, this speaker features convenient control functions on the side, enabling easy play/stop, volume adjustments. While the sound quality is generally good, the bass could have been enhanced for a more immersive experience. The battery life is also decent, lasting for hours on end, making it suitable for extended use, even during extended beach visits. The waterproof capability (IPX7) of these speakers is a highly useful feature. Although it does come equipped with a memory card slot, I personally haven’t utilised it as the Bluetooth connection works smoothly and seamlessly. The LED lights on both sides are a visually striking addition, changing colours in sync with the music and creating an amazing ambiance in dark environments. However, you have the option to deactivate them by simply pressing the power button twice. All in all, this wireless speaker provides a satisfactory experience and represents good value for money. I hope you found this review helpful.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI would have given this speaker 3 stars, but I’ve provided 4 instead for the reason that I like the sound signature it produces.

This speaker is nothing like its larger sibling (the T7). This, although it has 3 passive radiators, I’d consider bass-light, especially when listening on axis. This is honestly underwhelming. It just doesn’t sound deep. The larger (little more expensive) T7 has two passive radiators and one small active sub, which actually provides impressive bass. (In one of the images, the lite is on the left).

Now, I expected similar sounds to the two, but they are completely different. In fact, it produces the opposite sound to what the larger T7 does. While the large one produces good bass, it really suffers in the detail and enjoyment in the mid-range and treble. This T7 lite, however, produces much more detailed and pleasant mids. If I want a relaxing sound, I’d probably steer towards the T7 Lite (this product).

The listing states that although the two different models aren’t able to pair in TWS, they are planning on adding this feature. I really hope this happens as then we could have the best of both worlds.

The LEDs are nice. I think they try to dance to the beat lol. As mentioned, I feel like the passive radiators could do a bit more in terms of projecting the lower frequencies. The build quality is very good however (if you ignore the massive tronsmart logo).

There is a little roll-stop on the speaker. There’s only one row, not two, so I initially thought that they would still roll around, but surprisingly, the weight is distributed such that the speakers point upward/forwards. The build feels solid, and thankfully all the buttons are easy to press. USB-C as expected and an SD card reader, although still no 3.5 aux in 🙁

Overall, while the build is good, and the app does provide the necessary versatility in the sound, I feel like those who are looking for bass will likely feel this is lacking. That said, I find the mid-range very pleasant.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant sound but little bass
