Easy to install but came lose after a day put it back on tight.
Good magnetic Hold i have to be mindful not to pull the phone toward me more at an angle to take off the stand. My last phone holder ,would just drop my phone into the passenger footwell.
That hasn’t happened yet,so I’m happy thanks.
So far soo good. Only been using this a few days now. Will see how it performs over time. The magnets are strong and the adjustable arm is very useful.
This phone mount offers great quality and ease of use. The phone is securely held in place and the mount is attached to the air vent.
The innovative mounting mechanism means you can rotate the arm and position it pretty much anywhere you want to, which is a really handy feature to fall back on when you find out that your air vent isn’t in the optimum position. It uses a magnetic ring holder which makes it perfect for Magsafe cases, but two additional rings are included so that you can attach non magsafe phone cases to the holder too. This is great, although be aware that the magnet is quite strong and the ring might come unstuck if it’s attached to the outside of your case. You can attach it to the inside of the case but this does reduce the effectiveness of the magnet slightly. Not such a big problem (this is how I’ve used it), but probably worth noting.
At 13 this is excellent value for money. It was 25 when I ordered it and I thought that was too expensive, but at 13, the quality is great and the functionality equally good. Definitely recommended.
After buying numerous phone holders that failed After some times,this one is fantastic good strong magnit and the swivel action is a great idea.
I’m not sure if they do a wireless charging version but highly recommend this product…
Fits onto my vent perfectly, and my case has a magsafe attachment in it already, although it does come with a metal ring to attach to any device. It’s strong, easy to fit and has great angles for maximum viewing.

When these phone mounts first started appearing on the market some years ago, I thought “position my expensive iPhone immediately in front of the hot air vent and cook it? Heck no!” For years I’ve been using a bracket that was mounted on a large suction pad on the base when I’ve need to have supplementary navigation support while I’ve been driving. It worked, but it was a little fiddly setting it up each time.
So what’s changed? Basically, several years of product development and common sense. While many competitors still mount the phone immediately over the vent, this one uses an “arm” to offset the phone, potentially positioning it out of the air flow. (I also recently discovered that the vent in question had been closed for I don’t know how long, so the amount of hot air coming out of this one was already negligible. Please don’t tell anyone I know! #blush)
My car is an 8 year old Corsa and my phone is a brand spanking new iPhone 15. (The 15 Pro Max , if you’re really interested.) The mount was easy to install and position. Unlike my old mount with the sucker on the base, I’m leaving this permanently installed, making it convenient to use. I’ve used it for all my local driving since getting it and am happy with its performance. I’m pretty confident that if I need to use it for a longer journey, especially if it’s over an unfamiliar route, I shan’t run into any problems with the drive on account of the mount.
Would I recommend it? Yes.
Another great product from ugreen who are making some fantastic value for money products including this one. Comes is a nice retail box with instructions and two spare magnetic rings for phones without them or cases without magnets. Some thought has been given to the magnetic rings as these are stored in a small envelope in the box to prevent loss (I’ve seen a few where the rings have fallen out the box due to being so slim and lost). The mount is the very simple to use and rock solid reverse hook type that really grips onto the air vent so much so you need to be careful you don’t over tighten and break the louver by mistake. Once tightened up onto the vent it stays put and the head position can be set. This uses the typical ball joint mechanism and it very efficient with the wing nut locking the head in position without much force and preventing droop over time. The magnetic part holds the iPhone solid and also freely rotates to switch between portrait and landscape view with ease
if your fed up wasting your time buying phone holder after holder that keeps falling off the vent or wobbling around then you can solve that by buying this!
Having previously purchased a good few USB plugs and charging cables made by UGREEN, and being very happy with the quality, I was optimistic about how good this Magsafe phone holder for the car from UGREEN would be — and it did not disappoint.
In the box you receive the unit, which is already assembled, a spare Magsafe stick on magnet and instruction pamphlet (please see photo’s).
The mount of the holder has a metal hook which will affix to most air vent types (see item description to check yours are compatible).
To install the mount first turn the nut to extend out the hook so that there is enough clearance for it to go inside the air vent and through over the back of the vent blade you have chosen to fix to. Then close the nut to retract the hook until it stops on the back of the vent blade. Would advise to not overtighten here as the vent blade is likely plastic in your car whilst this hook is metal so if over tighten it could damage the air vent (please see photo’s).
To set the position of the Magsafe holder so your phone is at the correct position simply loosen the plastic nut behind the Magsafe plate and swivel 360 degrees and / or change the angle of the Magsafe plate. Once you have found the best position for your phone whilst you are driving then tighten the nut to secure. Another feature of this mount is that you can slide the Magsafe plate up and down the arm to further amend the position of phone (this can be done without loosening the plastic nut).
The strength of the magnet is excellent meaning your phone is very secure when driving, even over bumpy roads.
In case your phone is not made with in-built Magsafe compatibility, or your existing phone case is not Magsafe, then this item comes with a Magsafe sticker than can be affixed to the back of your phone or case.
I absolutely recommend this UGREEN Magsafe phone charger if you are looking to purchase a phone holder for your car which is magnetic and not a clamp based model.

The adhesive is reliable, offering ample adjustability, and, best of all, my iPhone 15 Pro Max stays securely in place. No more retrieving the phone from the floor. I opted for a second SYNCWIRE mount for my wife’s car, utilizing the extra magnetic ring on her iPhone 12. If you’ve splurged on a new iPhone, it’s wise to invest a bit more for the best car mount you’ll ever find.
