A small & compact travel plug with 3 x USB Ports …
1 x USB & 2 X USB-C ….. This isn’t going to fast charge your phone but will still charge multiple items over an extended period of time.
Small & compact & appears to be well made ..
good for use on Ferries that are not ultra modern …. Some older ones have euro plugs some modern have U.K … Better to be safe that sorry if you want a cuppa in the cabin with your travel kettle !!
I will have a chance to test it fully very soon & will update if any problems arise …
Hope this helps …
Travelling to EU and having UK plugs is solved with this device, with the addition of USB-A and USB-C charging ports.
Perfect for throwing in the bag when travelling. I keep it permanently in my case.
Increasingly when I travel abroad these days it is usually for a shortish trip taking just carry-on luggage and most of my gear is USB powered rather than needing a conventional plug. When I was preparing for a 5 daay trip to Iceland I realised that I really needed an adapter that catered for all my electrics without taking up too much space.
This adapter obviously gives you the standard 3 pin plug which I can use for powering my laptop, but at the same time it has 2 fast USB-C ports for charging my phone and tablet plus an older USB-A port for my watch.
This gives me lots of convenience in a single package and saves me carrying around loads of different adapters and chargers.
I wasn’t sure about the quality from the product shots but once I unpacked it it looks better made than I was expecting and it worked perfectly for my latest trip, so I think this will soon be my go-to travel adapter.
I ordered this product to take with me across europe when travelling for work or holidays. I like that it’s nice and compact, whilst catering for standard USB-A as well as twin USB-C sockets. This saves bringing a separate European adapter to use with a UK charging plug.
The build quality is good and it’s very well made. It’s nice and light which is an important factor when travelling. It’s worth noting that this doesn’t support fast charging. I’m not quite sure the reason for the ‘iSmart’ naming, as it doesn’t have any Smart (wifi) capability.
Overall I can highly recommend this product.
I got this for use on trips to Spain and the Netherlands. I was keen to cut down the number of charging bricks I usually need to take for phone, tablet, etc.
The adapter feels robust and well made and certainly doesn’t feel as lightweight as adapters I’ve used previously. It plugs in pretty securely and doesn’t feel like it will just slip out of the socket. I mostly require use of the main plug socket and the USB C sockets. All worked as expected and the USB C sockets provided fast charge capabilities for my Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet using their existing USB C cables.
This is a very convenient and cost effective way to provide multiple charging capabilities from a single unit. Recommended.
I recently ordered the UK to European Plug Adapter with 3 USB Ports (including 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A), which has completely exceeded my expectations. The adapter’s 4-in-1 functionality is a real game-changer, allowing me to charge up to four devices simultaneously with a total output of 5V/3.1A. This is particularly useful given the array of devices we all use today. The standard UK plug’s impressive capacity of up to 3250W sets it apart, ensuring that even my most power-hungry devices can be catered to. The Type E/F plug design with its grounded, round pins offers a secure fit in sockets, which is a relief as it doesn’t wobble or disconnect easily. The compatibility across a broad spectrum of European countries – Spain to Russia and Greece to Norway – makes it an indispensable travel companion.
What stands out about this adapter is its lightweight and compact design, making it a breeze to carry around. It fits seamlessly into any bag or pocket, negating the need for additional chargers and thus saving precious suitcase space. This feature alone makes it a must-have accessory for anyone travelling in Europe. Safety is paramount, and this adapter does not disappoint. Its multiple protection functions guard against over-current, over-heating, over-charging, and short-circuiting, giving me peace of mind to use it with a wide range of devices, from smartphones to laptops. The use of premium fireproof materials further assures me of its safety standards. Overall, this European plug adapter has proven to be an essential tool in my travel kit, ensuring that all my devices stay charged and ready to use. Its performance, portability, and safety features earn it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars from me.
I received this item via the vine programme. Here is my honest and unbiased review.
what can I say?
It is a plug, you can plug it into a power socket and plug other things into it.
It converts your UK plug into a Europe plug so you can charge or use your uk items in the rest of Europe.
Yes, it works!
Price is fair, plus you can charge/use 3 things at one!
Love it!
5 Stars!
This light in weight, ideal for traveling, well-made, adapter that has two C & USB UK plug sockets and an EU adapter.
I have tried it with eu to uk plug and plugged it into this to see if it all works ok. ( and will be using this on my next trip to the EU).
Yes, it all works fine. , plugged in my laptop & 2 phones (I have also tried with just one devise / my phone)
The charge is a little slower with all 3 rather than one, this is normal. Altogether a good charge and a brilliant adapter.
I have no way of properly testing this adaptor until my next European holiday. However, from what I can see, this compact little adaptor has everything a holidaymaker could need, with two USB type C ports and one USB type A port. I’ve tested all three ports with USB cables and they all fitted well and didn’t fall out when I shook the adaptor pretty vigorously.
If the stated spec is correct, it is capable of handling 3250w which is about the equivalent of three 1,000w hair dryers and 3 rechargeable gadgets being used at the same time, (not advisable, no matter what the spec says) and you would need to take a multi socket adaptor with you on holiday to do that anyway. lol
In summary – It’s so much more than just a plug adaptor. Happy to recommend.
In my video you can see two smartphones and an electric tooth brush being charged via this adaptor plug, without any issues. It is nicely made and all the sockets are a precise, accurate fit. Not sure what material is used for the case but it is tough – not going to break easily. It does not hog too much space either. The USB ports have a safe 5V 1A DC output. The UK AC output socket should be fine as most European countries have an electrical supply between 220V and 240V. It supports a number of European electrical socket patterns as listed in the advertisement – best check that your destination is included since there is not a standard socket across the whole of the EU.
The adapter is for indoor use only. It has a symbol that means it is double insulated and the CE symbol represents European Conformity, which remains valid in the UK ( at the time of writing, March 2024) although the UK does have it’s own conformity symbol, UKCA. Both symbols represent a self-declaration by the device manufacturer that their device complies with all relevant legislation for safety, health and environmental requirements. However, this is not proof that the device has actually been tested and meets the requirements – any device like this should therefore not be connected while you are sleeping nor without anyone in attendance.
Video: On a PC, left mouse click the maximise symbol, bottom right corner, to view the video full-screen. Tap ESC (Escape) key to leave full-screen mode. On a Smartphone, tap the video and pinch in-out to adjust the video size.
This is a preliminary review, made to express my thoughts on this adaptor, but before I travel. If more than a month has passed and I have not altered the star rating, then I have no complaints.
The plug is well made, with a good quality moulding. A UK plug fits firmly into the socket and comes out with the right amount of force. The unit feels solid and suitable for the getting knocked around in a suitcase for a bit
The 3 USB sockets are spaced far enough away from the plug that there should be no interfearance between the plug and USB cables. I have tested the USBA and USBC slots by plugging cables into them, and the cables fit correctly.
On the business end, the european socket and pins all look correct. I have confidence in the plug
With holidays and trips coming up in Europe over the next year, got this as an alternative to a standard adapter which you then plug your UK charger into.
For the next holiday, we are actually going to Italy, where it states it won’t work, as ‘some’ cities require a Type C plug, (this is only type E / F) will take it and try it as seem to remember from a previous visit the plug types varies so should work in some properties but not others.
For the purposes of testing, used a Euro to UK plug adapter, which it plugged into firmly and worked fine with.
The USB C sockets came up as fast charging on my phone, whilst the USB A socket came up as standard charging, which will work fine for my purposes.
Well made little unit, feels solid, everything connects firmly, shame the pins don’t fold away as you get on some similar adapters, which would make it really compact.
This is an excellent adapter for European travel giving charging potential for a range of USB devices as well as acting as an adapter for UK plugs all in one unit.
It arrived in a neat box and seems well made. It is lightweight but the material seems strong. According to the sales information it has a number of protection circuits included and is fireproof. For me these reassurances are important when using electrical devices from manufacturers that I am not familiar with.
The sales information states that the adapter is not suitable for Italy. A bit of research on the internet suggests that Italy uses type L and type C sockets as well the more common European standards of type E and F, and the pins on these are slimmer, so I assume that is what the caution is about.
I put the respective plugs in all the apertures and they went in smoothly with a reassuring click and held firmly.
The current listed price of the adapter is 18.99 but there is a promo code for a 50% reduction. While the former price is less competitive than some others available on Amazon, this might reflect the quality of the build and the included protective circuits. At the current reduced price of 9.50 it seems to me an excellent buy and I will give it 5 stars.
