Worked perfectly to cool my R5 7600. It keeps the temperatures low and is a great budget option. The dual tower heatsink and dual 120mm PWM fans are effective and efficient. Plus, upHere is a reasonably recognizable brand, so I’m quite happy with this purchase. It’s a solid choice for both Intel and AMD systems.
Stock fans a little loud as to be expected but not excessively so
Nothing particuarly bad to say for this cooler, it does the job nicely and looks like it won’t fall apart. Temps were decent. Slightly fiddly mounting system but this is hardly unique among budget coolers.
This is big, and its that big it may not fit in your case, so you need to measure the gap between the motherboard and the case panel. Compare it to this and then add 10-20cms more for clearance and ventilation.
It does a good job with heat dissipation and doesn’t get too loud, but its certainly not quiet.
Recommended for a starter fan.
Firstly – make sure you have the space for this in your case – It is absolutely gargantuan!
I replaced an older Q9850 stock fan with this one and can genuinely say it reduced the idle temps by about 4 degrees which is nice, so icy cold! With all coolers this large, a longer screwdriver would be warranted as it can rip your hands to shreds if not careful, but this does seem to be well machines and made – So no gripes about quality or materials here. This is easily on par with the thermaltakes or coolermasters on the market (probably from the same factory tbh!).
I’d recommend grabbing a tube of Arctic Silver to go with it though, included pastes are never my go-to – you’ll shave a few more degrees off this way!
For the price, very reasonable indeed.
The upHere High Performance CPU Air Cooler is a beast when it comes to cooling. With its large dual tower heatsink and six heat pipes, it efficiently dissipates heat from the CPU, keeping temperatures in check even during heavy workloads or gaming sessions. The included dual 120mm PWM fans provide adequate airflow, ensuring effective heat dissipation without excessive noise. Installation was straightforward thanks to the clear instructions, and it fits well on both Intel and AMD platforms. Overall, it’s a reliable cooler that gets the job done without breaking the bank.
Seems to be a reliable cooler, easy to fit in and it has had no issues. It is also extremely good for value compared to similar products. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good cooler.
This is a large cooler which is particularly useful when you are pushing your CPU to the limits or overclocking. It certainly runs about 10C cooler than the standard intel supplied cooler.
I found it tricky to fit as I do not have a particularly large case and I had to move the memory chips closest to the CPU to fit it and may have been able to use those slots once it was fitted. You can get a screwdriver right through the fins to attach it but I even found that a little tricky in the confined space I had.
Giving the price and quality of product its well balanced Happy to recommend it’s good as temporary use and simple to install it.
Great material used for build and reliable
This is a bit of a beast of a CPU cooler. It is compatible with both a number of AMD and Intel chipsets and is designed to accommodate various RAM configurations so that you don’t end up loosing a few slots due to the size of this thing. My recommendation is definitely to measure up first, it’s a tall and relatively wide cooler. It has a 6 heat pipe design with 2 large 120mm fans (that can be changed if required). Item itself feels good quality but certainly not premium like a few other coolers I have tested, however for the price this offers really good value for money. If you are looking for a decent cooler at a good price this is certainly one to look at.
