had a cheaper bottle and cork opener that broke so hubby bought this one as i was going to buy another cheap one glad i didn’t this is so easy to use its brilliant worth the few extra quid it really is
Bought this Ventdest wing corkscrew wine bottle opener with bottle stopper.
The items are made from metal and although they work, the quality is OK but not great. That said, for the use I have (occasional wine bottle opening), this is an excellent buy and am confident it should last a long time.
I like that this corkscrew is of solid construction and is heavy duty. It doesn’t feel at all flimsy, there is no give in it and I am confident it will last a long time.
Overall, I am very happy with it.

The corkscrew works well but it lacks any feature to cut the foil around the bottle top. The bottle stopper and pourer is effective but beware it can make some bottles too tall to fit in the bottle rack in the fridge.

Good solid corkscrew and useful wine bottle stopper. The corkscrew is simple to operate and feels chunky in the hand. Handles all corks without a problem. The actual screw part is very strong, I bought it to replace my old one which had a thin screw which bent when extracting the cork. This one is far better, recommended
