This baby gym is well sized and has lots of colourful interactive activities to keep baby stimulated and engaged.
Music, lights, noises and touch are all catered for and the gym allows baby to explore, reach, grasp and discover, all from a comfortable surface.
It goes together in a minute and is simple to set up. This means it’s easy to travel with.
Once together it feels stable but I have tested gyms that are more so.
All the pieces are bright, safe and smooth, and there’s nothing that might irritate.
The piano takes 3 AAA batteries and is robust. It can be kicked to operate or pressed.
The mat is machine washable and it’s easy to remove to clean it.
It’s a nice stable baby gym that’s not overly complex and is fairly priced.
I hope you find my review helpful.
This is a very cute baby play mat, it’s simple to put together although the instructions aren’t the clearest. The foot piano is adorable and baba loves striking a tune on them.
This little set had everything to make tummy time fund. From kick/ hit pads one one side to the arch of toys. Your baby can enjoy time on their back exploring the toys, or on the soft mat on their tummy trying to push up and see things.
This is a really cute activity mat.
Bought has a gift , arrived very next day ,
Well packaged,
Only thing was I thought I did a good search to see if the baby mat needed Batteries but apart from saying to remove the battery before washing I could not see what batteries I needed to purchase to accompany the play mat , this is not a criticism, just that I could not see this information, apologies if it was written,
Definitely purchases from this seller again and highly recommend.
This is a great piano playmat at a more affordable price than other branded piano ones. My two month old absolutely loves it and it’s helped him to start kicking and strengthening his leg muscles. I also like that the toy bar is a bit lower than others so he can actually reach the toys to practice grabbing.
The bar can seem tricky to fit without it flicking out but don’t be put off, you just need to push it in firmly and you’ll feel it be in a more secure way.
Highly recommend
Bought for my 15 week old son, he really enjoys the time he spends on it. He especially enjoys the wide variety of sounds produced by the keyboard attachment. I am really pleased I purchased this item, and I would highly recommend this to everyone.
From the moment it arrived, the Baby Play Mat has proven to be a charming addition to our baby’s playtime essentials. Assembly was straightforward; the gym comes disassembled, with the play bar, rattle toys, keyboard, and various other engaging elements neatly packaged. Setting it up was a breeze, which is always appreciated by any parent keen to introduce new stimuli to their child’s environment.
The design and functionality seem tailor-made for newborns and very young infants, particularly those under nine months. Despite the product’s recommendation for use up to 36 months, I find it best suited for babies who have not yet mastered crawling or walking, as its appeal diminishes once those milestones are reached. This is not a drawback, however, as the play mat excels in its primary role: aiding in the development of babies during those early, formative months.
Material-wise, the play mat feels safe and comfortable under little hands and feet, with the animal rattles providing a light, engaging distraction. The standout feature, however, is the integrated piano keyboard. Positioned at the foot of the mat, it allows babies to kick and press the keys, producing sounds that delight their ears and help in developing both motor skills and sound recognition.
My baby boy was particularly taken with this aspect, showing gleeful enthusiasm during his play sessions. It’s been a joy to watch him explore and react to the various stimuli that the Baby Play Mat offers, marking it as a worthy investment in these early months.
In summary, while the play mat might be marketed for children up to three years, its optimal use is for those precious first months up to about nine months old. For parents looking for a product that combines sensory development with fun, this baby gym ticks all the boxes. A well-priced, engaging start for the littlest of adventurers!
This baby playmat was a huge hit with my niece.
It’s a good sized slightly padded mat with bright colours on the bear design and has lots of activities.
You push the top loop into the plastic base support, which was a really tricky task as you are trying to get a round plastic end into a square hole but with enough force you can get it in and then it does stay in there well, then at the other end you attach the brackets and secure the musical piano in place, I recommend doing the loop first so you don’t break the brackets trying to force the loop in.
The base is fairly good although I think it could be a bit sturdier but with the weight of the piano at the end it couldn’t be pulled over by a baby playing with the selection of dangling toy teddy shapes or mirror.
It’s a shame you need to provide your own batteries for the piano, but it does play some fun musical noises.
Overall, for 22.99 it’s a good fun play mat, just needs a little refinement around the stand.
We got this for a new born but can easily see that it will cater for some growth to a few years old – so we like the thought that has gone into that.
It is nice and colourful without being garish.
It has got various play things like a lot of mats but this one has got a few extras – the musical foot press areas are great – you know what youngsters are like kicking their feet out – so now they can actually play tunes – great for budding Beethoven’s.
Unfortunately the musical/lighting bits needs batteries – and that drops it one star.
One thing I really like is the measurement scale along the side – that is a great idea to see your baby’s height/length grow.
It has the usual dangling plastic toy animal grabby things that all kids like to play with when laid on their backs; and the hoop can be removed for when they get past that age.
I think for a baby’s mat it actually incorporates a lot and I am hoping at lasts too; could provide years of fun for very young ones.
