Having this mini fridge in my dorm room has been a game changer for both my snacks and skincare. It keeps everything at the right temperature, and I appreciate the quiet operation—it doesn’t interrupt my studies or sleep. The switch from cool to warm settings is straightforward and effective, perfect for keeping drinks cold and food warm as needed. While its capacity is limited, it’s a perfect fit for my small space, and being able to power it both in the car and at home is wonderfully convenient.
This is a neat, retro style little fridge. I got it in pink but must admit I would have preferred it in white which would fit in better with its surroundings. I was quite surprised when it arrived as the box proclaims it is a “skincare fridge”. This had not even occurred to me and I feel that for publicity purposes this is not a good idea. The fridge is multi-functional and this statement reduces its various functions to only one – and one function which probably won’t be used by most people. If I had wanted to use it as a skincare fridge I would like to have placed the fridge in my bathroom but of course I can’t as there is no electric socket in the bathroom. I have instead located it in my bedroom so that I can have a cool drink at hand but I must admit that I find a pink fridge slightly obtrusive in this location. The fact that the fridge can be plugged into your car is a real bonus and for this reason I think that the fridge would be very handy indeed for an HGV driver. He/she could keep their lunch cool and fresh and obviously they could also have a nice cool drink. The fact that the fridge can also be used to heat something up is a bonus (I haven’t tried this as yet). Similarly, a family going on a trip or a picnic would find it very handy for the same reason, although the small size of the fridge would only allow a small quantity of food or drinks to be taken. All in all, this is a cute and handy little fridge at a fairly reasonable price.
YASHE Mini Fridge, 4 Liter/6 Cans, Small refrigerator
You get this cute 4L fridge in a box labelled “skin care” but can be used for multiple things
There is an instruction manual
It has a cool switch on back for fridge and a heat switch to keep things warm
It has a three pin plug and an in car connector – ideal for keeping your takeaway hot!
The top shelf is removable and there is a little shelf in the door – block of chocolate!
When running it hardly makes any noise at all
It gets cool/warm very quickly
My husband is thrilled with it so he can keep beers cool in the summer house in the summer
The only negative thing is the labelling saying “skin care” – if a gift for a man a bit off putting.
.will hold 6 small cans
Highly recommend
(Hope you found my comments of help)
This is an excellent little fridge that can also be used to heat items as well as cool. The build quality is good and even though it is plastic, it feels pretty substantial, plus its very lightweight. It comes with a power lead and some basic instructions, both of which are tucked away inside the fridge. Set up consisits of plugging it in and turning it on, so no real need for the instructions.
The fridge is pretty small inside and even though its described as a skin care fridge my daughter has been using it as a standard fridge to keep drinks and snacks in. Inside, you can fit x4 330ml cans with the shelf in place and also some snacks on the shelf, or x4 440ml cans with the shelf removed, unfortunately, it is a bit to small for most water bottles, I have managed to fit 2 in there, but they were stored at an angle and there is no room for anything else. It is kept in my daughter bedroom and to be fair, it is a lot quieter than other fridges I’ve tried and she has not complained once about any background noise. For the money I think this is great value, its small enough and quiet enough to be used in a bedroom, it has enough space for the essentials and also looks really good.
I am now the happiest chap on Earth. In my home office I have a heated coaster, so my tea never gets cold and now a mini fridge, so my KitKats never get warm. I have owned a 6L mini fridge before, but it was always a little too large for what I needed. This 4L model is perfect. I like the fact that it’s power supply is external, as it was this that failed on the old fridge, but it was built inside, so hopefully I can just replace the power brick supplied with this one in the future. This model seems well insulated, and comes with a useful little removeable drip tray. The fridge levelled off at 6 degrees, which is pretty much spot on, and is completely silent. There is a fan at the rear, but I cannot hear it, even though the fridge is right next to my desk. The fan does expel air, but the air has no heat to it, which is great, as the last thing you want this summer is something adding even more heat to the air. The only thing I don’t really like, is the fact that the door handle is fake. The door shuts using magnets and the ‘handle’ is just a very shallow indentation in the body of the fridge, to allow your fingers to get a grip on the edge of the door. But the indentation is so! shallow, that it almost feels like you are opening the door with your fingernails. The fridge has almost no weight to it, so opening the door is pretty much a two-handed operation, your left hand being required to stop the fridge from moving, while you open the magnetic catch with your right hand. Other than that, pretty much perfect.
This fridge was actually described as a skincare fridge when I received it, despite the product page showing it with cans of soft drinks inside. As a guy with a liking for fizzy drinks, that’s the sort of thing I’ve been using it for. It can hold 6 x 330ml cans – 4 of those sitting upright, with a further 2 cans sitting above them on the little plastic shelf that’s supplied with the fridge. If you remove the shelf, the fridge will fit 4 x 440ml cans (or probably the same amount of 500ml cans, but I didn’t have any of those to check). The fridge has a retro style, reminiscent of old fridges from the 1950s, and the top is moulded in such a way that there’s a carrying handle built in.
I was a bit sceptical when I first saw the fridge, thinking it wouldn’t be able to keep my drinks cool, but my fears were unfounded as it does the job just fine. Admittedly, I tend to transfer drinks that are already cooled from my larger fridge to this smaller one, but it has no problems keeping them cool afterwards. I’ve had drinks in it for a few days and they’re still chilled – this is in a room with an ambient temperature of about 25C. The fridge is also really quiet – the only way you’ll even hear it running is in an otherwise silent room, and even then you’d have to be right next to the fridge, listening for any noise.
As I work from home these days, the fridge is a nice little addition at the edge of my desk, keeping me well-stocked with drinks for the day, and I’m really glad I got it!
This is a cute little fridge for a bedroom or man cave. It is really quite small so don’t expect to be stuffing it full of beers, it can hold 330ml cans comfortably, 3 or 4 of them and there is a little shelf in the door that you could put chocolate bars in. there is a shelf in the fridge itself which we have just taken out as it just stops you putting drinks in, however if you were using this as a cosmetic or medication fridge it would allow you to store more things without stacking it up.
I got this for my sons room but as it also has a car adapter I thought it could be used on trips if things needed to be kept refrigerated. It also has a curious switch at the back which says cool or heat, so far we have only had it on cool, I do not fancy trying the heat function! But it states it will warm things to 20 degrees.
Aesthetically its alright for the price, it’s a bit plasticky and it’s made to look like an old fridge with silver handles and hinges. It cools drinks down to a decent temp, I wouldn’t say proper fridge cold, but certainly cold enough in the middle of the night when thirsty! It does make a noise, personally it would annoy me, but my son says it’s fine and he loves his new gadget!
I think it’s a good item for the price and I would recommend.
I got this little fridge as a treat for my bedroom as normally every morning I have to go downstairs to get my fresh milk before I can go upstairs again to get ready. Problem solved with this little helper! V cute and light fridge. It works just brilliant. It gets quite cold in just few minutes and keep my milk v cold. It brings a wedge in the top to carry it around and cable is long enough to reach a close socket. You can turn it on or off as per convenience and it brings a heat button as well, although I don’t use it as such. Includes a cable to connect it to the car too. V handy and useful. Total silence with it on too.
This mini fridge cools and heats. It is light and has a carry handle so idea for carrying. In addition, it is quite quiet, on the desk it is less noisy than a laptop fan. Connects to mains electric or 12v car via the included cables. You can’t adjust the temperature, you can only turn it on and off. It cools quickly, about 20 degrees less than the ambient temperature. Holds about 6 330ml can but it is a little too small.

Haven’t used this for skincare or drinks, but we bought it for our nursery to help with overnight pumping with our newborn so we don’t have to walk up and down the stairs all the time. It’s great, I can fit my pump parts in it or up to 3-4 of the Dr. Browns 120 mL bottles. Has a little storage shelf on the door that can perfectly fit my breast milk storage bags too. It’s perfect and has really helped us prevent wasting milk in the middle of the night.
4 stars because it is a little louder than I thought it would be, but would still recommend it. Plan to use it for other stuff once we don’t need it for milk anymore.
This retro mini fridge is finished in a sleek white gloss, complemented by silver hinges and a door handle, it not only serves its purpose but does so with style.
The fridge sports a nostalgic retro look, giving it a charming personality that can enhance any room’s decor. The built-in handle on top is a testament to its thoughtful design, making it easily portable.
The door’s built-in magnets ensure it remains securely closed, preserving the temperature inside efficiently. Inside, the fridge is surprisingly spacious for its compact size, featuring a removable shelf and a slim shelf on the door. It’s perfect for storing small items like cans, fruits, or even toiletry items, keeping them at your desired temperature.
One of the fridge’s standout features is its adaptability. With two leads included, it can be powered through a standard electrical socket or a car’s cigarette lighter socket, making it as useful for indoor settings as it is for adventures outdoors. Additionally, the ability to switch between off, hot, and cold settings with ease adds a layer of functionality that’s hard to find in mini fridges.
The fridge impresses with its quick cooling and heating capabilities, reaching desired temperatures within minutes. Even more appealing is its quiet operation. The fan, while efficient, is barely noticeable, ensuring that your environment remains undisturbed.
Sturdy construction promises durability and longevity. It feels well-built, suggesting it can withstand regular use without issue. Considering its versatility, performance, and design, the fridge is reasonably priced, offering good value for money.
This mini fridge exceeded my expectations, blending style with functionality effortlessly. Its versatility, efficient performance, and retro charm make it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to keep their beverages and snacks at the right temperature, whether at home or on the go. Reasonably priced and well-constructed, it’s a purchase I’m thoroughly pleased with.
My son has this set up in his bedroom and he keeps bottled water in it. He has never really been a big water drinker but that has all changed now! I’m very happy that it’s encouraging him to drink more water and they stay nice and cold in the fridge.
I got this as a snack fridge for my bedroom. It’s a nice size for drinks cans a small chocolate bars but could be used to store makeup etc…It’s a lovely pastel pink colour and I’m made up that it’s quite quiet. I’m using it with the plug but it also comes with a car adapter for travelling.
Son has wanted one of these for many years, now he has one. He plugs into his car when at car shows and takes his water or pop to keep it cool. It works well and seems to keep the drinks at a low temp. Looks super cute and he loves it. I would recommend for this purpose, also as it arrived as a fridge for face cream I would also say it would be good in a business environment for beauty products that need to be kept cool as the cooling system seems reliable.
Really nice design. Looks like an old American fridge.
Nice and light and completely plastic exterior and interior.
Super quiet while running with small fan in the rear. Will run from mains outlet or car 12v socket.
Does cool really well although it won’t get down to about 5c like a domestic fridge, or does keep drinks really cool – about 10-15c below ambient temperature.
Great for camping and even as a mini fridge in the office!
This actually says “skincare fridge” on the box , but as the listing says it can be sued for anything you want to cool ….or heat , so good for water , chocolates , drinks , and on the heat side possibly even to keep your cup of tea hot ! !
It feels well made , although pink would not be my choice of colour , it actually looks really good , in fact I have marked it down a star as I disliked the “chrome” handle and hinges as I think it cheapened a good quality item ?
It has a retro look , and inside you have a shelf which is removable and a narrow basket on the inside of the door ( bars of chocolate ?) .
The door snaps shut tightly with the magnetic seal which makes it feel like a proper fridge too
Its a good size and you can get a few cans or bottles in there .
In the box you also get an instruction booklet and two leads one fro mains power and one for a 12V socket found in cars etc so you can use it whilst on the move, these also feel good quality
On the back is all the controls , you have a switch to select mains or 12V , and you have a switch to select cooling or heating.
I tested it on cooling and it does definitely keep my bottle of water cool , not my normal fridge cool , but definitely cool enough to notice
On the heat setting , I didn’t put anything in it , but left it on for about 45 mins and it was really warm if not hot inside ! In fact both the cooling and heating were pretty impressive.
Liked this ( except the cheap looking chrome bits) and would recommend
I was skeptical of this product but had a need to store some drinks cool in a spare rooma very specific need I know, but I saw this through the Vine programme and jumped on it.
True to what they promise in the product description – this is a very small mini fridge that will keep a couple cans cold enough for pleasurable drinking. I don’t have a camper van or anything, but I can see some situations where this will be handy, like in a party to have in the corner to store extra sodas and beers.
Would make a good present too. But the important thing is that it works, and I was able to cool down four cans within a couple hours, and it is quiet, inconspicuous, and does what it says on the tin.
It’s a novelty item at the end of the day, so only you can be the judge if it’s worth the expense. After all, how many refrigeration devices do you need in your house?
