We can actually develop leaner tummy and I can see muscles that were missing for years. Also helped me with back pain, need to see the results after few months.
The item arrived promptly no issues with delivery although you need to be at home to sign for it.
Assembly if following instructions should not be a problem. I used some of my own tools for comfort as those that come with the table are rather basic.
Construction is very robust but it is important to put the thing together properly ensuring all elements are screwed on tight. And it is essential to stick to the weight limit.
You can use the table on your own but it is advisable to have someone with you for the first few uses.
It is essential to get the right adjustment for your height otherwise either you will swing too fast or not at all.
When invertwd there is a good level of weight taken from the spine so I would advise gradual increase of terminal angle. Also safer for your head and blood rushing to it.
Overall this is a good tool for a fair money
The packaging is of the highest quality, time and care has been taken to ensure this arrives in perfect condition. 6 or 7 simple steps to assembly and again time and care taken to ensure this is a simple process. Nuts and bolts separated into each part and a video to watch alongside the paper instructions. This is a robust piece of equipment certainly standing up to its ‘heavy duty’ description. I very rarely write reviews but this is worthy of my time.
Making a decision to get an inversion table for the first time with no experience was daunting. Was tempted to go for the expensive Teeter models as they had independent FDA approval. Then I thought what the heck I’ll try this one. In short it was easy enough to install, with two people, and it feels safe when turning you upside down. Whether the process of inversion will help me in the long run I don’t know but this table does the simple task it is designed for and I am glad I didn’t spend loads on Teeter equipment; who needs a cup holder anyway.
I should say that so far I have used the table on its lowest setting only i.e I am far from hanging completely upside down but surprisingly you do get a good stretch. It is easy to pull yourself up from that small angle. I am not sure what it would be like from a much larger inversion but I don’t think that will be necessary.
It is good advice to have someone with you for the first couple of inversions to make sure you don’t have any problems medically or physically getting back up. But if you are on the lowest setting you should then be O.K to go on your own. I am now using it on my own and find it quite relaxing.
One of the other reviews has a video of a woman using the table which really demonstrates how easy it is to use. Look it up.
Installation instructions were good once we stopped panicking at the first explosion diagram showing all the pieces. When you followed the step by step it was doable. Nice touch with the packaging of all the bolts contained in transparent plastic blisters with each separate blister labelled with a step corresponding to the instruction diagram containing all the pieces for that step. Not seen that in flatpacks before. However they blotted their copybook with one step having a different number to the diagram, something like step 3 instead of step 2a, but it was easy to spot and to follow.
The product was ok, but there was no response to my email request for video to help assemble. The QR code when scanned said there was no video available as advertised,on YouTube.
It’s very solid with decent fixtures. Assembly took about an hour. The manual has been translated very poorly but the pictures suffice. There was a small box of additional nuts and bolts in case you had lost one. It does fold for storage but is very ungainly to move around. The securing mechanism for your feet works very well. Put a washer behind every nut and you will still have some left over! The nuts are all Nyloc type so they won’t work loose. I wish I had measured my height before using it – I think I have gained an inch. I do feel that is has benefitted me and my slipped disk. I don’t think it would fit under most beds.
Highley recomend this apperratus for stretching your back and legs, takes a bit of getting use to and a bit scarey at first, l recomend you have someone with you to get used to pulling yourself up and down, you will feel the effects quite soon.
Very easy to assemble and sturdy.
It’s really relaxing when on a small decline.
The ankle pads hold your weight well on full decline.
It folds away easily by pulling out 3 locking pins.
For the price, it’s a great piece of kit!
I am 6ft tall and weigh 17 stone. This item can only just accommodate and is at its capacity so is not as sturdy as it would be for a smaller person.
Having had lower back pain for 20+ years, and numerous trips to physios, massage therapist, acupuncturists, musculoskeletal clinic, etc, my friend/massage therapist suggested an inversion table. Having struggled to get out of bed every morning for several years now, without stretching myself widthways across the mattress and dangling backwards over the edge for 15 mins, the inversion table’s use of gravity to stretch the spine sounded exactly like the kind of thing I’ve been trying to achieve. My husband assembled it this morning (not massively difficult to do, but you have to read the instructions in a fairly creative way) and on I popped. The joy was immediate. The stretch feeling was divine. And in the hours following my first go on it, I can honestly say I felt brilliant! I’ve been on it again this evening and it’s just lush! I understand the cautions regarding eye pressure, etc, so I will follow the advice on length of time spent on the table but I can’t deny it’s very very tempting to just hang upside down for several hours. Without a doubt, I could fall asleep on there but I’ll make sure I don’t give in to that temptation. If my first two brief episodes on it are anything to go by, this could be the game changer I’ve been dreaming of.
It’s too early to tell yet what long term benefit I will get from the Inversion Table but I definitely like the lovely stretched feeling I get during and immediately after using it. I tend to use it for a couple of minutes every morning as my back always feels quite stiff then. It is definitely useful after a spell of gardening which always leaves me with a painful lower back and a bit of a stoop – the table provides instant relief and ‘unkinks’ my spine.
I found assembly fairly straight forward but I am a fairly practical person so could follow the instructions reasonably well. I put this together myself (I am a 71 year old female) and the only thing I struggled with was holding the central platform level while trying to insert the side holding pins and fixing with the washer and screw nut at the same time. A second pair of hands would definitely have helped with that stage of the process!
The finished apparatus feels very sturdy and safe to use. It takes up quite a bit more space than I expected but I have it in my spare bedroom which isn’t really needed for anything else so that isn’t a problem. I live alone so was a bit apprehensive about getting back up after inversion the first time but I have found that raising my shoulders and bending at the knee starts the platform reverting back to a level position. I keep the platform hovering at a horizontal level for a minute or two before returning slowly to the start position.
Overall I’m very pleased with this Inversion Table which I think is good value for money.
I assembled the whole thing in a matter of a few minutes with no additional tools required.
It’s a very sturdy construction and happily deals with my height (6 ft) and weight (200 lbs) with no problem.
I have to use the handles to raise/lower myself (but it’s very easy) and have it set for the maximum height possible.
I think it might be uncomfortable for anyone over 6 feet because of the neck/shoulder pads, but it’s fine for me, even at an 80 degree inversion.
I’ve been using it daily since Christmas and it definitely relieves back pain, and I would heartily recommend it at the price.
I don’t usually take time to review, however on this occasion I felt that this would be a help to anyone wanting or undecided on whether to buy. I have a couple of worn out discs that usually cause me constant aching pain which travels round to the side of my body and then affects my breathing. I can’t even put my socks or shoes on without my back going into a spasm.
I have been using this machine twice a day, 10 minutes when I get out of bed and for 10 minutes when I come home from work and after 3 days I have now lost the constant pain throughout the day and I can actually put my shoes and socks on without any pain at all.
Just be aware, because it’s not normal to be held upside down, you will experience some aches and pains when you first start to use it, until your body gets used to what you’re doing to it, but once that has passed you should feel the real effects of loosing some or all of your back aches and pains.
I am not saying that I’ve lost all and every single back ache and pain, however it is most certainly improved more than 70% of my issues. I also benefited from removing the shoulder pads to enable my back to fully stretch, because I’m 6 foot tall and the machine was at full length.
This arrived properly packaged. A slight tear in the back lining of the headrest which was minimal and of no consequence. Table went together quite easily, but it’is taking quite a bit to get used to being inverted. There are a few arrest areas so you don’t have to immediately hang up side down. The locking mechanisms are good and framework is sturdy and does not twist. Happy with this. No doubt it will get a full 5 stars for everything once we get more used to hanging upside down.
Has been a godsend. Definitely was a challenge to get delivered and coordinated with the installers but works great. I’d say the shoulder guards are badly positioned but I know I have a long back. Definitely worth the money if you have the space.
This might be the best money I’ve ever spent on Amazon.
I have facet joint degeneration of the lower spine which has become so painfully debilitating in the last year that anything more than a few minutes on my feet was excruciating.
This arrived last week and we assembled it on Thursday evening (I took 2 tramadol so I could help / supervise – so they were probably working when 30 minutes later it was assembled – use the YouTube video as you do – it’s not in the same order as the instructions but it’s much easier to follow)
Once assembled I climbed on and we strapped me in and my husband helped me invert myself (push not pull to go backwards LOL).
I was only upside down for a couple of minutes and to be honest I was mildly terrified, I’m rather overweight and the fear that my feet might fall off or that I’d be stuck was very real – my husband said he was going to get his phone from the lounge and in a panicked voice I begged him to please not leave me ….. cruel monster that he is – he did 🙂
I decided to have a go at turning myself upright again and ta-da …. I was the right way round again – and I was able to bend down and unhook my feet (he’d had to hook them in) and I wasn’t in pain any more – now bear in mind I’d taken my tramadol before starting assembly so it was probably working at this point but I was able to stand up straight for the first time in many months – I’d been not quite upside down for less than 3 minutes
The only way to validate what it had done was to not take my bedtime pain killers and see what the morning was like – I awoke and I wasn’t in pain. Don’t get me wrong my lower back still felt like it was squished, but the nerve pain that had been my constant companion for months wasn’t there.
I went downstairs strapped myself in (alone his lordship was still in bed) and inverted myself again for a couple of minutes and then dismounted and got to working from home as normal – except without any pain medication at all …… (my last tramadol had been 6:30 the previous evening)
I’m writing this on Wednesday a week later – I still haven’t taken another tramadol (I did take 2 co-codamol on Saturday evening but I’d been on my feet for an hour making a massive vat of bolognese – this is the only pain relief I’ve taken since 6:30pm last Thursday)
In total since then I’ve probably spent about 15 minutes in total not at full inversion – whatever angle the middle set of holes is. If I get a bit ‘ouchie’ I go for a quick dangle and the pressure in my back instantly eases.
I can feel that the vertebrae in my lower spine still feels ‘too close together’ but the nerves aren’t screaming all the time any more.
I have a back massage bi-weekly and I saw her on Monday – when I was able to walk in without being hunched and I could pick my feet up as I walked she was shocked ….. when she could actually massage my lower back properly without me hurting she was even more shocked ….. when I was able to sit up at the end without having to slide my legs off the bed or push myself up with my arms – well it was like a moment from a cartoon – mouth open and eyes boggling. She’s had to re-write all her notes LOL
I had an MRI last Tuesday so my spinal surgeon could see how messed up it is in there. I’m seeing him again next Monday and he might want a new MRI done now – LOL oopsie but Bupa can take the hit – I don’t think I’m going to escape surgery on my back that seems to be inevitable but to be mostly pain free for the first time in at least 2 years is simply magical.
I highly recommend this product – so much so that my massage therapist and her husband who both have lower back pain are coming over this week to have a go on mine to see if it works for them
Promptly delivered. Product was easy to assemble, however, the instructions on putting it together are a bit rubbish. Why these Chinese firms don’t employ an English language speaker with a bit of engineering experience to write the assembly instructions I’ll never understand. The product works well, I bought it to challenge my system and stretch my spine, so it does what it says on the tin. It appears to be reasonable in quality, for a Chinese made item, so only time will tell.
I have suffered from sciatica for a number of years and when really bad can be disabling and excruciating. After using this inversion table once a day for three days (3 minutes at a time) my sciatica is gone and after continuous use has not returned. It’s fantastic! As a bonus I no longer get backache either as proved this week after doing two hours in the garden of heavy digging! I can’t believe how well the table works especially for old bodies like mine (I am 71). I couldn’t be without this now and highly recommend to anyone with serious back or hip pain. It is easy to assemble (I did this on my own in 30 mins) and is very sturdy. You feel completely safe when inverted. I personally don’t do full inversion. I only go as far as the safety bar which for me works fine. When first using it is perhaps best to have someone to hand in case you can’t get back up easily, although I didn’t have that problem. My husband also uses the table for his aching back and he too has found it works for him. The table is also great for improving bad posture. Best thing I have ever bought.
I suffer from back pain for years. This is due to a badly slipped disk (several times). Using this contraption does help. I wouldn’t say that it cured me of pain 100% but it gives a fantastic feeling of weightlessness while you use it. That feeling that your spinal vertebrates are not pressing on each other, or not pressing on the nerves, is truly wonderful. After a while, the pain comes back but it is different, less intense. I’ve used it 5 times so far and I will keep using it.
I’m 6′ and 18st (181cm tall and 120kg)
This is just what I wanted and I’m convinced used daily will help keep my back problems at bay with my 6 weekly Physio appointments. I will say however that they really should look at redoing the instructions as for something like this that needs to be properly assembled the instructions should be much more detailed, I’m lucky that over my lifetime I have assembled many different bits and bobs but for a layman they are not good enough. Again don’t let that put you off as the inversion table is really good and a good price
Some of the holes did not line up so I was unable to complete the build initially.
The company that supplied it were of no use and it would have been a long time before I would be able to use it, so I drilled the offending holes out to create the alignment and then I was able to complete the build.
Works fine and does what it is supposed to do.
Got this for my sons back it does help . But he doesn’t use all the time and like with any back problems seek medical advice if you have any back issues dont over do it on this. There is lots of information on line and you tube for the correct way to use this inversion table. If in any doubt seek out medical advice from a doctor if this will be ok for you to use as it may help some people or may not be suitable for others.
Ok so I’m 6ft 3 ,and I would strongly suggest if you are 6ft ideally or over then this is not for you. The description says fits up to 6ft 4 but this isn’t true so beware and save yourself all the aggravation of setting it up.
Set up was pretty tedious with the silly Allen key supplied as all the bolts are really badly located and so you can only turn a really small amount each time making the process very long, this is just bad design and to be honest it’s the worst thing about it apart from it not fitting, but if you were keeping it your only have to do it once..I did it twice as I sent it back.
Once erected it’s quite solid, now the problem for me was that i could stand in it with my feet on the platform but my shoulders were touching the foam rests,so when i flipped upside down all the weight went straight to my shoulders so i was effectively doing a shoulder stand not hanging from my feet as it should be. So yes I fit ‘in ‘ it but it’s not fit for purpose, so for that reason it was sent back, and if you are over 6ft I would not bother buying as you’re wasting your time, putting all the weight onto your shoulders will without doubt lead to other problems in that area.
When I first flipped upside down the first thing I thought was my God I havent been upside down since I was about 10 years old (I’m 40 odd now) so that was odd and not particularly nice either but I could feel my back stretch a bit but I noticed more all the pressure on my shoulders.
So in short it’s a solid bit of kit, hassle to put together and probably great if you’re under 6ft.
Personally whatever size you are I would suggest just finding a tree and hanging off a branch!!
Seriously, you’ll save all the money, you’ll be out with nature and breathing in good air, you’ll be stretching your back the correct way without making blood rush to your head which cant be great.
Seller was helpful throughout the and offered money off to keep it
but it’s of no use to me so arranged a courier for collection without hassle.
I have had this item for very long but the times I’ve been on it morning and night for 10 mins over 2 days has shown promise. My sciatica goes when upside down do gives instant relief when I come back to standing position I have to do it very slowly as it hurts due to the vertebrae squashing my disc again. I’m sure that this will defiantly help me as I’ve tried so many things. It very stable and looks great and it’s comfortable when using it. My husband put it together and managed to get it right so instruction can’t be too bad. I’m pleased with it so-far and would recommend to anyone with bulging discs/ sciatica. It does say not recommended for herniated discs.
So far so good, I have chronic lower back pain.. I’ve tried everything, physios, chiropractors, pain clinic and lots of different meds.. I invert 3 times a day for 4-5 mins at a time.. slowly worked up to full inversion, where my head is literally touching the ground.. I feel like the pain has subsided, and it’s only been just over a week.. very sturdy peice of kit, took me an hour to assemble correctly and easy to collapse and transfort. Overall I really think I’m on the way to being pain free
This is very simple to operate and the relief on your back pain becomes visible in minutes. It creates a perfect stretch feeing within your back and you have a whole range of exercise you can preform without the fear off injury. what’s nice is It’s extremely durable and I will say, I felt very safe on it throughout my usage. It is solid and supports your body weight with ease.
What stands out for me is the Build quality. All the materials used are high quality and durable and that is visible in the usage. Its extremely durable and I will say I felt very safe on it throughout my usage. It truly is.a solid ice of kit and I couldn’t recommend it enough . It will pay for itself in the long run!!
Attached is a video review please take the time to take a look.
I’ve been on painkillers for my back for the past 12 months, it was painful just putting my socks on in the morning I’ve been using this for 2 weeks now 10 minutes in the morning as soon as I wake up and 10 minutes before bed, I only have a slight pain first thing every morning when I wake up but 5 minutes after using this it’s gone and I have no pain for the rest of the day, I’ve not needed any pain killers at all and I’m now able to go back to the gym and play basketball again.
Was easy to put together the only confusing part was that they include extra screws so I thought I’d missed something at first but after triple checking I figured out their were extra screws
Getting to the end of my tether with a re-occurring slipped disc – this time with sciatic pains that had been keeping me awake for over 2 weeks. Very easy to assemble – and easy to use. After first few days of use, the sciatica was almost gone- and completely gone after a week and a half of using. Be very careful how quickly you come back to vertical – as I suffered bad nausea for a couple hours the first time – come back up slowly! But what a lifesaver this has been !
This was purchased for my Wife who suffers with chronic back pain as the result of a Brachial Plexus injury caused by a motorcycle accident many moons ago leaving her also with a paralysed left arm. A friend of mine who is a personal trainer suggested it and to be honest my Wife was willing to try anything after been on countless different pain killers for years on end!. After doing some online research and comparing prices etc, I decided on this particular model by YOLEO. It’s competitively priced and I liked the look of it to be honest I’ve listed the manufacturer specs / features below (the relevant bits)…
YOLEO Inversion Table Info:
Easily adjustable to suit most user heights.
Designed to improve blood circulation and posture.
Increases energy levels and mental alertness.
Improves body flexibility and reduces back pain.
Comfortable wrap-around ankle holders.
Folds away for easy transport and storage.
Stimulates your lymphatic system
Weight: 23KG
Dimensions: 49 x 32 x 4.7 inches
So what’s it actually like? Well to be honest when it first arrived I thought “I bet this is going to be a nightmare putting it together!”, but luckily it was actually very simple and only took me 15 minutes thanks to the company sending me a video link showing you how to set it up which really did make it easy, so hats off to them for that firstly
My Wife actually suggested I had a go first as she jokingly said it looked like a prop from a Dominatrix movie hehehe I found it very easy to use although I was a tad nervous to start with. I tilted it to about a 45 angle and leisurely hung for about 2-3 minutes. I must admit I was skeptical at first but after actually being on it I did notice the difference. You can feel the weight being taken off of your spine and I felt what can only be described as a ‘Whooshing’ feeling going down my back and in to my legs (strange but not uncomfortable). Well after my Wife realised if wasn’t all that scary looking she decided to have a go. I helped my Wife on to it as having the use of only one arm she wouldn’t be able to safely do it herself. We started off at the suggested low angles (30 – 45) and at intervals of 1-2 minutes just so my Wife could get used to it. Has it helped? Truthfully yes it has. My Wife said instantly she could feel the pressure being lifted from her back and neck which in turn aleviated a lot of the pain so result The added bonus is that everyday seems to get better each time she uses it. We’ve been using it 3 times a day (Morning – Afternoon – Evening) and on average 3-5 minutes. It’s not a miracle cure and I would be lieing if I said it was but what I will say hand on heart is, it’s really helped my Wife’s pain by about 60% which is an absolute dream for her bless her!. I will add to this review as time goes by keeping you updated on any pros or cons but for now we’re really impressed and happy with it and would have no hesitation recommending it.
