Like the natural bristles. To fit handle first mark depth of socket on end of handle, push into socket to locate, lay broom on bench or flat surface with front of brush down so bristles not bent, hit end of handle with a wooden mallet ideally or similar, keep hitting quite hard till fully home. Inertia of the brush head is enough to get the handle fully in and this way you won’t damage the bristles. There is provision to fit a screw if it should loosen over time.
