As someone whose home office is in the spare bedroom and am evicted when we have family staying, and as I need to work from another address on occasions, I have always lamented the loss of my second screen. Working purely from a laptop is not as easy and is less efficient. This laptop screen extender has been the perfect solution. I am able to work at any table in any location, and can work more effectively as a result.
It is so easy to set up and, with the useful carry case it comes with, is easily transported. I am so pleased I made the investment – it has made my life so much easier and I highly recommend it to anyone in the same situation. Though I purchased it primarily for work, I have to admit I now use it whenever I am using my home laptop – why would I work on one screen when I can so easily work on two?
I work as a financial analyst, especially since I’m often working remotely from different countries, hotel rooms, and lobbies. It’s been a game changer for me. Having an extra screen means I can spread out my spreadsheets and reports, making multitasking way easier. The extender is really easy to set up just plug it into your laptop, there are instructions to which cable you should be using when connecting to the type of laptop and you’re good to go. It’s lightweight, too, so it’s not a hassle to carry around in my laptop bag.
One thing I noticed, though, is that the brightness isn’t as strong as my laptop’s screen, which can be a bit annoying when working in bright areas like hotel lobbies with a lot of natural light. The screen also reflects a bit, so you’ve got to find the right angle to avoid glare. But, for the most part, it’s not a big deal once you get used to it.
You will have to put both screens up otherwise the stand will be uneven. The screens come with a carry case.
Another small issue is that the stand could be a bit sturdier. On uneven surfaces.
Overall, this screen extender has made working remotely much smoother. It helps me stay productive even when I’m not in my usual office setup. Just be prepared to adjust a bit if you’re working in really bright or uneven environments.

Working on a single laptop screen, especially with large spreadsheets has been a bit of a pain, however this product makes a huge difference. Having 3 screens has boosted productivity. Connection was perfect using USB-C connected to my Surface Book 3, although for power, I did need to use a Surface Dock 2. Overall extremely happy with my purchase

Have wanted one of these for a while. It makes multi-tasking that bit easier. I often need a number of programs open at the same time and having a second screen means there it much less flipping between documents and programs. Easy to set up is also an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.
Wow, what can I say about this extendable screen? It’s amazing. Cannot fault this at all. Would highly recommend purchasing this. Plug in and it works straight away. Use it every day with my laptop. Well worth the money.
What a great bit of kit has helped heaps when trying to complete my work, easily fits into laptop bag but it’s own case is also very durable.

I love the extender. It fits perfectly onto my HP Elitebook and took me less than a minute to set up. That is, to expand the clamping system to the back of my laptop screen and connect the USB-C cables. It is so straightforward that I did not have to read the instructions immediately. A subsequent reading of the instructions showed it was clear, concise, and illustrated helpfully. I like the versatility of the additional monitor and the other hardware you can connect. The screen resolution at 1080p is as can be seen in the photos, and it is on par with my laptop. I have grown so accustomed to working off multiple screens, and the versatility of a portable extra screen for my laptop is most welcome. The additional screen is an inch larger than the laptop, but it sits level on the surface, and not suspended, so there is no weight to carry that might strain the laptop case. I cannot comment on other-sized laptops. The monitor weighs 1124g, the supplied bag is 407g, and the three cables together weigh 39g, so in total, 1570g. I don’t find it heavy compared to the weight of my laptop, but it would mean carrying an extra case. It is about 2.5cm thick when folded, which I find slim. When I opened the box, I saw the packaging was premium. The extended monitor was no less impressive, with precise fitment and good build quality. Once the cable connected the devices, the screen flared to life; it was not necessary to make any adjustments; the resolution was good out of the box, with vibrant colours (comparable to my laptop, which is a top-end HP Elitebook), and the viewing angle is pretty good. The monitor has to be connected to a laptop; it cannot be powered in isolation. If you are playing music on the laptop and you subsequently connect the other monitor, the sound will switch to the additional monitor. The sound is sufficient but not as high quality as my laptop. The laptop powers the monitor, so be mindful of the combined power consumption. A jog dial on the top left of the monitor opens up the menu for monitor settings. The window display is in colour and looks quite bright; see photo. The extendable clamp to the laptop works smoothly, and once in place, the springs draw in and hold the two devices firmly. I like that a stand is built into the back to help support the bolt-on monitor. The cables provided USB-C, HDMI, and USB are good quality. The carry case provided is reasonable and does the job. I am impressed by this kit, and I highly recommend it.
