The Konqkin Head Torch is an excellent choice for those who need reliable, hands-free lighting. It’s clear from the outset that this head torch is both well-made and thoughtfully designed. The brightness is impressive, providing more than enough light for various tasks, whether you’re out on a night hike or working in dim conditions.
The torch is also easy to wear and adjust, so you won’t be fiddling with it while trying to get on with your work. The battery life is solid, ensuring you won’t be left in the dark at crucial moments. And if you’re the clumsy sort, you’ll be pleased to know that this head torch holds up well against knocks and drops.
Another thing that stands out is the variety of lighting modes. Whether you need a powerful beam or something a bit softer, this torch has got you covered. It’s versatile, and the settings are easy to cycle through, making it suitable for a wide range of activities.
In short, the Konqkin Head Torch is worth every penny. It’s durable, efficient, and bright enough to meet your needs. If you’re in the market for a head torch, this one comes highly recommended.
This is a great head torch for me as some do have a strap that goes over your head from front to back which is no good for me when I wear my hair up so for me this is great for my needs. Light nice and bright. Easy to wear. Comfortable and really handy for me when I need bright light to focus on small things or to use in the dark
Great head torch that primarily gets it’s use from hunting our cats out in the cover of darkness. While our garden is catproofed, they hide in the dark (and one of them is pitch black!) so this torch has been ideal for finding them and getting them in on a night.
Torch is of good quality, with a wide beam that lasts for a good while. It’s easy to charge when out of juice.
Can’t complain. Very happy.
Pros:
High Energy Efficiency: Rated Energy Class A+++, this head torch offers excellent energy efficiency, providing longer battery life and reducing the frequency of recharges or battery replacements.
Bright Illumination: The V108 model delivers strong, focused light, making it suitable for a variety of activities such as hiking, camping, running, or working in low-light conditions.
Comfortable Fit: Designed with adjustable straps and a lightweight build, the head torch is comfortable to wear for extended periods, making it ideal for prolonged use.
Multiple Light Modes: Equipped with multiple lighting modes, including high, low, and strobe, the head torch offers versatility for different environments and tasks.
Hands-Free Operation: Being a head-mounted light, it allows for hands-free operation, which is particularly useful for outdoor activities, repairs, or emergencies.
Durable Construction: Built to withstand rugged use, the torch is made from durable materials that can handle outdoor conditions, including rain and impact.
Cons:
Battery Type: Depending on the model, the head torch may require specific batteries that could be less commonly available, or it may not include rechargeable options, which can be inconvenient for some users.
Beam Distance: While bright, the torch may have a limited beam distance compared to more advanced or higher-end models, which could be a drawback for users needing long-range visibility.
Mode Switching: Some users may find it cumbersome to switch between light modes, especially if the control buttons are small or not easily accessible while wearing gloves.
No Red Light Mode: If the head torch lacks a red light mode, it may not be suitable for tasks requiring minimal night vision disruption, such as stargazing or night hiking.
Limited Battery Life: Despite its energy efficiency, the actual battery life may vary depending on usage patterns and lighting mode, which could lead to shorter runtime during intensive use.
I think, great product! It’s definitely a different take on your standard head lamp. It’s a wrap around the from of your head design. It’s light & not heavy at all. The LED light strip is super flexible. There’s a lot of function packed in: The LED light is very bright and will provide abundant lighting. There are different modes to choose from very bright to less so. There’s also a side lamp. Very nice touch. Last, it has a day;ight sensor (!) – so, you could feasibly strap this on your head just before dusk and it will illuminate automatically. Pretty good if you are setting off on a cycle about I suppose. Overall, very impressed.
This small headband can impressively produce enough power to light up an entire room easily! With one button that can control which lights come on, you can choose between a direct torch for precise illumination, or for the entire headband to light up with the LEDs, which provides excellent visibility in the dark (see photo of this being used to light up the entire bedroom at night). I would have liked the option to turn on both the torch and LEDs at the same time, however, this isn’t an option. Furthermore, the option for an additional red-coloured torch would be much more useful when using this headlight outdoors because the bright white light easily attracts bugs, so even though the brightness of the LEDs can make anything easy to spot in the dark, it also makes *you* easy to spot for the mosquitoes A way around this could be to use a red sharpie to colour the torch red. Otherwise, this is a great torch that fits comfortably around the head and can be adjusted.
This head torch comes with a manual and a USB-C charging cable. It has two main modes. The first is the main front light bar which gives an even light and can be set to two power levels. The second mode is the side spotlight which again can be set to two power levels. Pressing and holding the power button while the light is on will result in both lights flashing. While the light is on pressing the movement detection button will turn the headlight to switch on when movement is detected.
Whenever you are doing a job that you can’t quite see what you are doing and need to hold a torch BUT need two hands as well, this is the answer to your prayers. Stunningly bright white light (adjustable) that fits on your head as a headband. Rechargeable so no batteries to buy and really, really bright white light. Absolutely brialliant for working in a car engine or on a printed circuit board or even under the bath installing pipework because now you can actually see what you are doing with a torch that follows your line of sight because it is on your head. Can’t recommend it enough and wish I had got one like this years ago.
This Konqkin V40 head torch is delivered in a compact package, together with an instruction leaflet and usb-c charging lead. The torch is lightweight, with an easily adjustable, soft elasticated strap – in fact it’s so comfortable I almost forgot I was wearing it.
There are five modes; high and low beam, bright white or warm light from the LED strip and motion detection activation. These are selected by cycling through the power button, or pressing the motion detection button.
I used the torch this weekend, checking my Mazda for a failed coil spring and it was great to see clearly what the issue was with both hands free to work. I found the motion detection activating unintentionally, so avoided using this function under the car – it’s probably a useful feature when out walking.
I liked the brightness and good spread of light this head torch produced when using the three strips of leds but if a need a more focused source of illumination I can use the side torch. Both have two levels of brightness easily selected at the touch of a button. They can switched on and off by the press of a button if i wish but I really liked the way they can also be turned on and off instantly with a wave of my hand.Rechargeable, so no batteries to buy it comes with a charging lead. The headband is made of a soft silicone material with a adjustable strap and it is light and comfortable to wear.It will come in handy, giving me convenient hands free lighting both in the home and outdoors in my garden or when I’m fishing and it will also come in very useful providing wearable emergency lighting should I suffer a power cut and using it i could move around the house safely in the dark.At it’s low price I think it is a good buy and I would recommend it.
I would say this headtorch is good for seeing things at close range in the dark, less good at longer range use (i.e. I wouldn’t use it for walking down a mountain at night). The light combinations make it versatile – white light, orange light, white and orange together, steady or flashing, different brightness’s, and even red light. All in all this is a versatile, comfortable head torch for close work, and a useful addition.
For clarity, I received a one-pack headtorch, not two.
I have some 20 odd torches of varying descriptions, along with head torches, but not a headband torch. It is predominately made of silicon with plastic and an elastic adjustable band.
There are 3 main strip lights and can be yellow, red or white, and a side torch. And boy, for a tiny light, they are very bright, either low or high power and strobing. There are numerous settings to mix and match different colours, giving different brightnesses and colour.
What is unique about this headband that there is an on/off switch and a sensor switch, but there is also a sensor switch. If off, the light is controlled by the on/off switch, but when on, you wave your hand past the switch area and it turns the lights on and off. Handy of wearing gloves!
It does take a while to charge — about 4.5hours, but it lasts for 3-4hrs, depending on what setting you have the light on.
It has a USB C charging port under the silicone cover. In the main it is showerproof, but the silicone cover doesn’t fit like a glove, so I wouldn’t go as far as saying waterproof.
It is comfortable to wear, and the elastic strap is adjustable. A good head mounted light, suitable for walking, working and sports.
I got these for running and haven’t been disappointed!
They are comfortable to wear (in winter at least), light the way well enough to run with and the batteries seem to last ages. As a personal light this is ideal, though it won’t win any prizes in a torch contest.
There are different light modes and brightness settings (see video), a torch and best of all is the little sensor that allows you to turn it on and off just by putting your hand near.
For the price these are phenomenal value!
Not sure how waterproof the case will prove to be as the runner covering seems to open easily, but I’ve had no trouble yet and have been using for two months. Even if one goes then at the price I’m not at all bothered.
Charging is via a USB C socket and the lead is supplied.
My husband reports that he is well pleased with this headlamp. He has commandeered it as soon as it arrived and declared it will live in his car for emergencies(he drives at night quite often). The leds are very bright on this, it has handsfree option and motion detector, 3 light settings and the battery lasts very well. The headband is comfortable. Definitely an item to have wether you like to run in the late/early hours, you work in dark environments or simply need an emergency backup for rapairing a flat tire at night, the ways you can use this heaadlamp are many.
konqkin Head Torch Headlamp:
Its a little annoying when you have to look up another version of the product to understand what features yours might have.
There are two buttons on this device, one that is a power button that cycles through the modes with every press and another button which has a WIFI symbol on it.
There is no information on its function on the product listing or in the sheet of instructions offered in the box.
I have found out that it is called a sensor button.
You press it when the product is on and it turns the red status light to green, indicating that it is ready. This allows you to then wave your hand in the air next to the buttons and a sensor will pick up this motion and switch the light on and off per wave.
Pretty cool right? So why not explain this to better advertise the product?
Anyway, I would still give this 5 stars. I do late night outdoor cycling and I work underneath my car and sometimes don’t finish until its dark. This headband has been very handy to have, allowing me to see and be seen and I can’t believe how bright it is!
You go through 2 rows and multiple shades of yellowing light colours. Then one red which also has a blinking variation before moving on to the side torch.
Would be a great item to have as a motorway breakdown kit.
well this is certainly a bright light
pro’s :
comfortable
easy to adjust for size
very bright leds.
choice of single side torch light
3 different led strips one being red good for working in the dark or for saftey,
leds having a flashing action too
can have motion activated light setting
CON’S
i found the swtiches a fiddle in terms of actually turning the lights on n off and to switch between the different light settings and activating the hands free motion switching,
other than that great headlamp bright easy to charge and battery lasted very well
This torch took a bit of working out, but you have a beam headlight on one side, and three strip lights across the front. You can cycle from low power light, higher power light, and then red on the front strips, and the band is adjustable. It works ell once you figure it out, but I prefer the ones where you can just wave your hand in front of a sensor to get the light to change.
Nothing wrong with this one though.
The concept is great. Wear a powerful light on your head.
In practice, very fiddly. On the head-band, there are a couple of control buttons, that then control numerous functions on the lamp unit on your head! With me? So think of rubbing your tummy & patting your head? Can be hard?
So for me, ( I use this in my loft/ attic) I turn it on first to the required function. Then stick it on my head!
I have to admit, it is very bright! I like the usb charge method too.
Thumbs up from me!
This torch is just so versatile, I’ve used it for walking at night, cycling or evn just when I go out in the car as a backup in case of emergencies. To me the most useful thing about it is the handsfree aspect . It’s comfortable to wear although it can get a little sweaty around the head band and allows me to have my handsfree to carry an umbrella for example. It has several different lighting modes From bright white to warm white and even red or flashiing. The light mode is selected by clicking the power button and cycling through the different modes until you find the light suitable for what you want to do. But that’s not all it has one other feature that they call induction – what it means in practice is that by pressing the button that has a sympol similar to a bluetooth symbol you can turn the light on and off by simply moving your hand past the sensor on the control part of the headband, it rememebers what light you had set and turns on – the power on indicator will turn from red to green when it is active. the power pack and controls are encased in rubber so it is quite waterproof hawever I found the flap of rubber covering the USBC charge port does not click into place so make sure you have the port pointing down when using out in the elements.
I have a few torches and work lamps but I was lacking a head torch so decided to give this a try. And boy, I should have gotten one earlier. Even though the item is heavily advertised for outdoor use, its a great light for around the house too. At times you are doing something where you will need both hands (so a torch is out of the question) or you are moving about (so a work light will constantly need to be moved), this is where a head torch comes in handy, as after strapping it to your head and turning it on you get light where ever you look, keeping your hands free to do what you need to do.
In the short time I have had this torch I have used it in the loft, used it light my way while in the garden at night and even to help find something in the cupboard under the stairs I really should put a fixed light in.
The torch has 4 lights on it, a cool white strip, a warm white strip, and a red strip, these three are in the head band. The red light is great when you need a little light but don’t want to disturb other people or effect your “night vision”. It also comes with a white spot light too if you need a bit more “throw” in your light.
highly recommend, I should have gotten one sooner.

Hubby is VERY IMPRESSED with this new head torch.
++* HE FINDS IT “VERY COMFY TO WEAR”.
Adjustable band makes it easy to change from wearing over a cycling helmet to wearing it on a late night dog walk.
++* AND “MUCH BETTER BRIGHTNESS & VISIBILITY TOO”.
++* INCREDIBLY BRIGHT & FAR MORE OPTIONS THAN HE HAS EVER HAD BEFORE.
Not only are there 3 levels of brightness on the headband,
Making HIM VISIBLE TO OTHER ROAD USERS, HIS FACE VISIBLE TO OTHER CYCLISTS or DOG WALKERS, BUT ALSO TO OUR SPOTS & LITTLE ONES, (sometimes ‘a LOOK’ is better than 100 spoken words!)
.. but..
++* THIS HEADLIGHT ALSO HAS A GREAT SIDE HEAD TORCH TOO. BEAMING FAR INTO THE DISTANCE.
++* VERY WELL DESIGNED & EASY TO USE.
JUST PRESS THROUGH THE 3 headband brightness levels, and then decide if you want the side torch on or off too, or Even JUST THE SIDE TORCH.
KEEPING HUBBYS HANDS FREE ON DOG WALKS IN THE DARK MORNINGS OR LATE EVENINGS.
++* BRILLIANT THAT IT IS RECHARGEABLE & this pack, also includes the battery too.
++* PERFECT FOR MANY SITUATIONS AND ALMOST ANY SIZE HEAD.
SO FAR OURS WAS USED
IN ATTIC,
DARK CORNER OF SHED,
OVER HUBBYS CYCLING HELMET,
ON LITTLE ONES HEAD WHEN PLAYING ON BIKES IN GARDEN AFTER DARK.
ON BOTH HUBBY & LITTLE ONES ON DOG WALKS IN DARK (extra dark as evergreen woodland.)
Adjustable band makes it easy to change size vastly.

This headlamp has several handy features, like a light sensor and multiple illumination modes and colours. The power button cycles between and changes the brightness of the three LED strips across your forehead, then turns on the side spot light. There are three brightness settings for the white light and yellow-white light, then on or flashing for the red one.
While I like having the choice of brightnesses and colours, it’s a little bit fiddly to select the one you want as if you accidentally go past it, you have to keep clicking the button until you go through all the other modes again. The sensor feature is a nice touch; when turned on by pressing the other button, the light will turn on and off automatically based on the ambient light which helps save battery life and leaves your hands free when going in and out of dark places like an attic.
The amount of light given off by the light strips is enough to see several metres in front of you and the little spotlight on the side is angled down slightly and gives a more concentrated light in a smaller area.
The headband is wide and comfortable and should be suitable for even the biggest of heads. I assume the red light is to help with keeping your night vision, but being unable to access it without having to go through several bright white lights first seems to make that a bit useless and unless you wear the light back to front, it’s pointing the wrong way to be useful as a tail light when cycling etc.
The manual is quite badly translated and I had to work out most of the functions without its help.
The fiddly light selection and the poor manual are why I feel this deserves four rather than five stars as even with those faults it’s still a very handy light to have in your toolbox or for emergencies.
This is a good headtorch, it’s well made and nicely adjustable so it fits comfortably. The light that comes out of this thing is very bright and there are lots of options… and that’s where the fun begins.
It isn’t a deal breaker and I’m sure that in time I’ll learn but the amount of button presses and light options is too many. You’ll see in my video that it is cycling through various options when I press a button but I had no idea what I was doing or what would happen at the next press of the button. If I just wanted the two bright front lights to come on, I have no idea how to do that without pressing all the buttons until I eventually get there.
If you want a simple on/off light, this is not the one but if you’re willing to put the time in to get your head around the controls then. I’m sure it’ll be fine.
One thing I did notice is that there is a mode where you can wave your hand in front of the light to turn it on and off, that mode is a bit overly sensitive and sometimes trying to turn it on or off will double register, so it goes on/off quickly and you have to do it again, also if you’re walking close to things they can trigger the on/off.
Good but a touch complicated.
