Afterglobe Mice Repellent Spray – Peppermint Oil Mouse
Afterglobe Mice Repellent Spray – Peppermint Oil Mouse and Rat Deterrent – Get Rid of Mice & Rodents Fast Non-Toxic and Safe Around Dogs Not Poison Rodent Repellent 265ml
Sort your pest problem quickly and safely.
Clean the area
Follow these simple steps for best results.
Clean any rodent droppings first and remove any rubbish from the area. Rubbish will attract more rodents.
Shake bottle
Shake the bottle vigorously for 1 minute to ensure liquid is well mixed.
Spray the area
Spray twice per 10cm of area covered.
Areas to spray include anywhere you find droppings, in hiding places such as cupboards, behind furniture and white goods.
You also want to spray around potential areas where mice and rats are entering. These can include open windows, cracks in walls, doorways and pipes.
Repeat for 3 days
Repeat this for the next 3 days.
Do not cover up any potential escape routes for the mice and rats as they will attempt to vacate over the next few days.
It is normal to notice more rodent activity over the next few days – this is them moving out!
We recommend you keep spraying the area twice a month to keep the minty scent around.
After you are sure all rodents have left, you can now block up any potential entry points. For a more effective barrier, block using a cloth sprayed with this formula.

I got this for protecting some bulbs in pots from squirrels who have destroyed the bulbs a number of times.
No matter where the pot was placed, they went for it as soon as my back was turned, so after finally getting this, I planted one last time and using the cotton wool balls, and wearing disposable gloves coated the cotton wool and placed them around the pot.
The pot seemed to be safe as no disturbance for the first 3 or 4 hours, then the rain came, and by the following morning the pot had been destroyed again. AS we haven’t had a single day without rain since, it’s been pointless trying again.
Does it work, yes, does it last, not if it rains. I’ve rated as 4 stars as it’s probably great in the summer, just not in spring when I want to plant.
This came as a bottle with some cotton balls to hold the liquid and a sprayer that you can use to spray the affected areas. The straw that I received was too long for the bottle, so I had to prepare it myself and cut it to size.
Although the bottle is provided with a lid, the whole package came smelling strongly of peppermint. Just handling the bottle and the other things made my hands smell of mint, which was hard to wash off and got me sneezing for a while.
Mice and rats are very sensitive to smells, as they rely on this much more than their eyes. So it’s easy to see how this strong peppermint smell would send them running. After treating the affected areas as per the instructions, I have not had any return of any mice or rats so far. So, yes, it’s a winner!
The only thing is that if you have anyone in your family that can be adversely affected by peppermint, then this might not be for you, or you might want to take care when and where you use this.
Still, this is a very good spray that works well, so I’m happy to recommend it.
Comes in a handy spray/bottle setup (you just need to attach the sprayer), and also includes a few cotton balls.
I’ll be using this around some out-buildings, under covers etc, where normal traps would be a possible threat to other wildlife.
I’ve used similar stuff to this previously (a different brand) with some success, and hopefully this Afterglobe version will do the same. Not sure if the actual ingredients are exactly the same, but the smell certainly seems familiar.
On a value-for-money basis (as effectiveness has yet to be proved)… 4-Stars.
I still shudder when I think about mice invading my kitchen last year. I used humane traps to catch them and put down peppermint repellent to deter them from coming in. My efforts paid off because they never returned. My neighbour has an ongoing problem, so I am not taking any chances.
This is an extra-strength formula, and before opening it, I could smell the peppermint oil. The package comes with a bottle of repellent, spray and cotton wool balls to soak with the repellent. You put the balls down where you suspect is the path used by the rodents, who can’t stand the smell. I like that this approach deters them without poisoning them.
I’ve used similar sprays in the past and will continue to do so for peace of mind.
This was well packaged and comes with all you need to get started – bottle with the liquid inside, spray attachment and some cotton balls to douse with the repellent. Without even opening the lid there is a strong mint smell which is promising. Have place some balls in the problem area and no signs so far but time will tell!
