APEX INNO facial interface ensures a more comfortable VR experience
I wanted to like it, that’s not to say I don’t. It does it’s job at being breathable which is the reason for the 7, but also the reason for the 7 is no matter how much I try to clean this thing it makes my face itch a few minutes into every use. Not the worst out there but not the best. Price wise something to consider!
Quite simply I chose this because I don’t like the light leakage around the nose on the Quest 3. I am not sure it is an improvement in other ways as I find the original cover quite acceptable. I probably find it slightly less comfortable than the original but not of any real concern. On balance I do prefer this one just for the improvement in light leakage. Seems quite well made so, hopefully, it will last.
Happy to recommend
This fit perfectly on my quest 3. Feels well made and sturdy. The area that contacts your face is very plush and and comfortable.
This also does a much better job of blocking light coming in around your nose than the one that comes standard on the Quest 3. Definitely recommend this if you plan on sweating while playing but even just for basic comfort and light leaks it is superior.
great as a 2nd facial interface …
My son uses this when he wants to use my Quest 3 then puts mine back on afterwards …
He is happy with the fit & found it comfortable for his long play sessions .
Hope this helps
It blocks just about all the light when worn correctly. I have this paired with Bobo S3 Pro and it fits great. It’s not overwhelming more comfortable than the original but is noticeable more comfortable if that makes sense. I think I now have the perfect setup. I could’ve gone with AMR version but read it’s too big for BoBo headsets. I’m happy with my purchase. I think the thicker one add too much pressure. Maybe some adjustments can be made. The side distance adjustments isn’t hard nor easy but works. Great product overall.
The APEXINNO Adjustable Facial Interface for Meta Quest 3 has been a welcomed addition to our Oculus Quest 3 setup. It fits perfectly as a replacement for the original interface, and the material is easy to wipe clean, making it more hygienic for regular use.
One noticeable improvement is the nose piece, which effectively blocks out light that used to sneak in through the original interface. This enhancement significantly enhances the immersive experience, especially during gameplay or virtual reality experiences in well-lit environments.
Additionally, the inclusion of lens protectors is a thoughtful touch. It adds an extra layer of protection for the lenses, giving us peace of mind knowing they’re shielded from scratches and dust when not in use.
Overall, the APEXINNO Adjustable Facial Interface for Meta Quest 3 has not only improved the comfort level during extended use but also enhanced the functionality of our Oculus Quest 3. If you’re looking to upgrade your VR experience, this accessory is definitely worth considering.
If you find like me that the Meta Quest 3 current facial pad is a bit loose or hurts a little, this interface is a great replacement which is adjustable so you can get it to fit perfectly and comfortably. It comes c complete with a nose guard (anti leakage mechanism) and also the depth adjuster. Very simple to apply to the device and then following the instructions, you can get it to fit perfectly on the user too. I think it’s a fab price for what you get and can make the gaming experience a lot better. The item arrived well packaged and are set at a very fair price 🙂
Quite good quality of this facial interface for Meta Quest 3.
Adjustable, quite easy to put it on.
Nice desing, soft material.
Its also breathable.
Im happy with the quality of this replacemnt pad.
So surely can recommend it to all.
Comes with two face pads which are perforated to make them more breathable. Fitting is fairly straight forward, it should just click into place (you might have to give it a good push). The adjustments are also easy using the buttons which are located on the outside.
One issue I did have was it’s a lot tighter than the original interface and I did find my glasses coming off and staying with the headset when I took it off, so worth noting if you wear glasses.
Barely lets any light in, helped greatly by the nose piece, which is great and adds to the overall immersion.
Not a bad upgrade over the original, especially given it can be wiped clean more easily if sharing with family and friends.
This is a very nice replacement for the stock padded facial interface, the standard one makes my face itch but this has a cooling feel to it so i can use my MQ3 longer with no irritation.
It was a little difficult to swap them over, but that’s more down to me being careful and not wanting to force / damage anything.
Once in place you press the buttons to adjust the depth from the lenses to where you want and away you go.
There are a couple of thin flaps that sit over the nose which really do help prevent the light bleed and help with immersion.
It also comes with a lens protector to help keep everything perfect.
Very happy with this upgrade.

Shipping in a plain cardboard box, you get a new facial interface, two pads for said interface and most handy, a lens cover/protector.
Attaching the new interface isn’t without issue – it took a moment or two for it to clip (and a bit more pressure than I liked) but it fitted fine. The pad for it is your choice, I left the one it came with on which is like a faux leather I’d say – it has little perforations but it’s all fine (or will be after a few uses).
The lens protector is a welcome touch – you can just pop it in the Quest when you store it – yeah, I’d prefer something a bit more like the prescription lenses you can get to protect but it’s better than absolutely nothing. it’s also quite stiff/sturdy compared to ones I’ve had for my Quest 2 so that’s also a bonus.
In terms of the adjusting…..it’s not great, but it’s not terrible. There’s two side buttons you press and then pull it forward or back to give the extra space. It works but it’s not great – you sometimes feel like, and probably will, pull the interface off. Having said that, there’s less of a gap (most notably the nose area) than the one fitted originally on the Quest, so that’s a positive as is the ability to change the pad itself.
If it weren’t quite so annoying to clip on or adjust, then it would be a very easy recommend, as it is, it’s fine but it is caveated after all.
