The quality is excellent.
It’s well made.
It has really good adjustability to make a good fit and is comfortable to wear for extended periods – which is ideal as this has a battery built in to allow for extended sessions.
It’s still reasonably light weight with the battery too.
Overall, I’ve had no issues at all in 4+ weeks of use so far.
It’s great! It’s good value IMO. I’m very pleased with it.
Most battery headstraps are close to the 100 mark or over, this product is great value because it charges the headset while playing and is a very comfortable fit, it can even be flipped up to take a breather if needs be, my only complaint is that the material of the back strap could be a bit sturdier but that doesn’t take away from the comfort. I’d definitely recommend.
Got the to upgrade an old strap for my quest 3. A much better design in my opinion. Much more comfortable and very easy to install as you don’t have to feed through the top strap into the headset as with most other straps. I’m a little wary of the headset only being attached by the sides, less it fall off by accident, but so far so good. It’s not loose and hasn’t come off when in use.
Much more comfortable to wear. I usually have issues with face pressure with vr headsets as they seem to push down on the bridge of my nose. This doesn’t do that and spaces out the weight more evenly over the top of the head. Very much like the strap design on the psvr although that system weigh much less.
The wire and battery pack are not removable though like with other straps. It can be a bit annoying when you want to play without it plugged in as there is a wire flapping about at the side of your head. I’m not a fan of leaving batteries attached to the headset when it’s not in use as that can drain the internal battery. It does extend the playtime by a few hours though which is great.
For the price, it’s one of the better straps I have used so far. Happy with this product.
