    Pros:

Multifunctional: The ability to steam, blend, defrost, reheat, and even sterilize in one appliance is incredibly convenient and saves valuable counter space.
Nutrient Retention: Steaming helps preserve the vitamins and minerals in fruits and vegetables, ensuring my baby gets the most out of their meals.
Easy to Use: The controls are straightforward, and the blending function produces smooth pures with minimal effort.
Easy to Clean: Most parts are dishwasher-safe, making cleanup a breeze after messy meal prep sessions.
    Cons:

Small Capacity: The steamer basket is relatively small, limiting the amount of food that can be prepared at once, especially for older babies with bigger appetites.
Longer Steaming Times: Compared to stovetop steaming, the appliance takes a bit longer to steam vegetables to the desired softness.
Blending Issues: While it handles softer foods well, tougher vegetables like carrots or sweet potatoes can be challenging to blend smoothly, even after adequate steaming.
    Overall:

This Baby Food Steamer & Blender is a valuable tool for parents who want to prepare homemade baby food. Its multifunctional design and nutrient-preserving capabilities are major advantages. However, the small capacity and occasional blending difficulties can be frustrating. If you’re looking for a convenient and versatile appliance for making baby food, this is worth considering, but be aware of its limitations.

I wish I had this when I first started weaning years ago with my first, I’ve always liked the idea of saving money on pre-made baby food and batch-cooking lots of healthy baby food. I tried to do this as much as possible, but this certainly makes it quicker and easier to do.

It’s multi-functional being able to steam, blend, defrost (great for when you pull out a pot you pre-made), reheat and sterilise. As someone who is into nutrition, i particularly like how it preserves all of the nutrients when steaming and blending.

Furthermore, the instructions were an easy read with lots of pictures explaining how it all works. So, no problems getting to grips with how it worked.

The only slight downside I can see is that if I really wanted to use it to sterilise all the breastfeeding bottles etc, it wouldn’t be big enough.

Overall, I think this is good value for money and good quality for any busy parents trying to wean their little ones onto healthy food.

This is a really useful product for making homemade baby food. It has four functions – Steam, Blend, Defrost and Reheat. You can even set it to sterilise a baby bottle or dummies, cup lids, etc The product arrives in a smart retail box, so it would make a good gift for parents-to-be.

When you unbox this, the first impression is that it is well made and feels like a quality product for a reasonable price. It’s perfect for a smaller kitchen as it doesn’t take up much space – no more worktop space than a jug kettle – and especially as it can replace other products (no need for a separate blender). Before using the product for the first time, you should sterilise it by adding water and steaming the empty jug for 10 minutes. Once done, you can add more water to the tank on the bottom and add various ingredients which you can steam and blend. You could even use it to make soup for yourself.

I tried steaming almost all the vegetables. Parsnip and celery were hard even after 30 minutes, the rest of the vegetables were very soft and juicy.

I would like to warn you that when you’re cooking, the juices stay in the bowl and all the vegetables that are on the bottom are literally boiled and not steamed. All plastic parts look good, nothing leaks. When it finishes working, the steamer emits a very quiet and short beep and turns off, which is very convenient and safe.

I even cooked chicken soup with couscous and everything was cooked perfectly, this is very important for me because my baby loves pureed soups. This steamer is an irreplaceable thing and I use it every day, it significantly reduces cooking time compared to cooking on the hob. The quality is excellent for such a price. I am very happy.

Great food steamer and blender. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good but honestly it is very good quality and handy in the kitchen.

It is very easy to use, clear instructions, I would have liked to watch a video of how to use it but it is really not that complicated.

I used it to warm up my baby’s food, and I used the bottle setting, which was 10 minutes. The food was hot

I also chopped 2 onions, and it was done very quickly, made it into a pure.

The steamer works well too, it can be set to 10, 20 or more minutes. I only put some cauliflower for 10minutes, as it was recommended by the manufacturer, but I needed it steamed for another 10 minutes.

It’s easy to clean as well, if it’s washed straight away it’s even easier.

I like it as it’s like 3 machines in one, I consider it as a food warmer too because it is safer to warm up food than in the microwave. I will definitely use it for my children’s food, for steaming and chopping.

Baby Food Steamer & Blender has four functions: Steam, Blend, Defrost & Reheat, and Sterilise. Space & time saving, preserves nutrients, easy meal prep.

This product arrives in a printed retail box with the central unit, jug with blade, spatula, rack (for sterilising bottles), and instruction booklet. as off reviewing, this product costs 59.95 —his price is excellent as the product is so much more useful than you first thought.

When you unbox this, the first impression is that it is well made and feels like a premium product for a reasonable price. The unit is perfect for a small kitchen as it is big enough to use but small enough not to take up much space, especially as it can replace several other products.

Before using the product for the first time, it should be sterilised by adding water and steaming the empty jug for 10 minutes. When you have done this, you can add more water to the tank on the bottom and add various vegetables (for example), which you can then steam. There are a number of different functions, including “Steam and Blend,” “Steam Only,” “Blend only,” “Defrost and Warm Food,” and “Sterilise.”

You can use this to make baby food or even use it to make soup for other family members. They recommend between 20-25 minutes for steaming 1.5cm cubes of various food, a list of which is included in the instruction booklet.

I recommend this product, especially to people with babies or young children, as it blends quite a few different items into one: a steriliser, blender & steamer.

I’m impressed with this steamer/blender, it saves time and energy in the kitchen and is very easy to use.

The instructions are clear and include pictures to make it easy to understand, they also include a list of various items (peppers/carrots/etc) and how long to steam them for which is very useful. Steaming is the best way of cooking vegetables to retain the highest amount of nutrients which is especially important when preparing food for babies. So, having the steam+blend function is really handy since I can fill the water resevoir, chop the veg, pop it in the jug and set it to steam and then automatically blend whilst I’m doing other things. The blend function works really well and gets everything nice and smooth without my having to stir it between blends, the blades are nice and sharp too which realy helps.

Everything fits together nice and tightly and the steamer won’t function unless everything is correctly fitted/aligned. Operation is very easy and the swivel button is a good design with a light up function indicator so I’m sure what mode I’ve selected.

I particularly like that you can defrost/warm food and sterilise items as well as steam/blend food. It comes with a little spatula which is perfectly shaped to get everything out of the corners of the jug, and a mesh/stand to use when sterilising. Everything is easy to disassemble and wash, and the unit is the perfect size to be stored in a kitchen cupboard.

Overall I think this is a brilliant kitchen tool, it’s perfect for busy parents. I’d definitely recommend it. 5*

What a great combo gadget idea this is!

If you’re making home-made baby food, this really is something to seriously consider.. Not only does it cook by steaming, which is a great way to lock the nutrients into food, but it can also blend those foods together when it’s steamed them to the consistency you require, and you don’t even have to take them out of the machine. It’s all in one place.

Less washing, less cupboard space, less counter space, less hassle. I’m genuinely impressed.

As an added bonus it can even sterilise a bottle or other bits and pieces, as needed. True, it can only do one bottle at a time, but it could do a heckload of dummies or teats or tippy lids, or the like.

I also like that you can leave a set time between steaming and blending, meaning that you can take any brief opportunity to get processes started, then walk away and know that it’ll tick along just fine on its own, thank you very much. If you leave it a bit too long and its cooled down a bit too much, you can just leave it in there and set it to reheat again.

Honestly, when you’ve finished making bay’s food, you can put a batch in for yourself and have some very healthy soup, as it’s basically a normal blender. But with this, I can start with raw veggies and end up with a hot meal. Perfect!

Honestly, I’m so impressed by this. The unit itself seems nice quality, the steam function dealt with parsnip and turnip, the bane of all steamers, and whilst it is of course smaller, the blender does its job just as well as my dedicated table-top version. The controls are nice and simple, and don’t require you to have memorised a massive instruction book (honestly, a mix of hormones and sleep deprivation meant that my brain was basically on quarter-power for the first nine months for both my kids). Plus very importantly with steam, the lid has a secure seal which won’t allow you to make mistakes.

All this without taking up more room on the surface than a kettle.

It comes nicely boxed with a few accessories, and would make an amazing gift for any mum/mum-to-be.
