Bought for my parents after them complaining abour not enough cables around and having to plug and unplug constaltly. Now all they have to do is place their phone on this pad and come back and its charged.
If they get an incoming call or just want their phone they can just pick it up and walk away, no cable faff, which my dad thought was superb
Only thing is I should have taught them how to use it because regularly i find their phones slightly not in the center and the warning orange light shines and their phones dont charge, so has to be perfectly positioned but thats expected.
Does seem to collect crumbs and lint easly and due to the raised rubber feet things is slightly a pain to clean but a fluffy cloth made short work of this.
This works, most of the time, with our iPhones and AirPods. Occasionally it will lose connection mid-charge and the first you’ll know about it is when you see an orange light when you go to pick up your phone.
I use this downstairs so the buzzing sound while charging isn’t such a as problem.. if it was in my bedroom I’d have to remove my phone to sleep as it’s too noticeable in a quiet room unless it was at far side of room..
