This feeder pole come in amazingly small packaging. All the parts come together in a matter of moments so assembly wise this is super easy.
I love the design as you can poop 2 feeders one on each ‘arm’ of the pole. The bottom of the pole has a 4 legged stand that goes into the ground and makes it all pretty sturdy.
Beautiful design, well made bird feeder pole it is definitely worth the money as it will last for a good while.
Highly recommend it.
This bird feeder stand is lightweight and easy to assemble. The base consists of five spikes that make the stand much sturdier as compared to my old feeder stand which only has 3 spikes. This feeder stand also looks great for its price point. It is reasonably priced at 20.99 so I would recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable and good-quality feeder stand.
Hello. And welcome to my review of something that I’ve wanted for a while, and now I have it and love it, so let’s review it
I guess, I should break this down into stages with stage one being the assembly of this: so building this was pretty easy to be honest, it was just a case or twisting and attaching the different poles together, completed with the foot part (that’s the bit that goes into the ground for stability), then pop on some bread or whatever you want on the hooks at the top and you have yourself a really cool sturdy bird feeder!
Didn’t really do that in stages did I? Whoops, but you know what it doesn’t matter as this is really really awesome – it’s such great value for money, it’s really high in terms of pole length, and looks really nice in the back garden.
Also I’ve had so many birds already! So this is clearly working and doing the job.
Lovely and stable too, once you press those feet into the soil / grass etc this isn’t going anywhere at all. Definitely recommended from me! 10/10
I received this item via the vine programme. Here is my honest and unbiased review.
This bird feeder/plant stand is really really lovely.
Simple and stylish design with a whimsical victorian feel.
Well made and solid, but you do need to add weight to the bottom or it won’t stay upright. This is not a problem, just something that you need to do to get the most out of the stand. I would suggest a bucket of rocks with some concrete to keep it in place (easy to dig up if you change your mind on location)
The price is fair and I am very happy with this ornamental stand!
4 Stars
– Review for Bird Feeder Pole Stand, 195cm Approx.2m Adjustable Feeding Station Hanging with 2 Hook, Heavy Duty Freestanding Double Shepherd Crook for Outdoor Garden Light Lantern Plant Metal Hanger, Black || Price: 20.99 (at time of ordering) –
This is so great; not just as a bird stand, but it’s absolutely perfect for stringing lights in your garden. It’s also a great plant stand and looks lovely with a couple of draping plants in hanging baskets.
It’s not too hard to put together, but I did have to change around the order of the poles as some fit better than others. The metal quality could be a bit better at this price, but it’s not bad. It has nice deep ground pegs and stands up sturdy, even in the wind. It looks great in my garden, I’m super happy with it. Recommended.
Summary: The end result for me, for this burd feeder pole, is a plant pot of concrete. Then I’ll be really happy with it. I will be able to regularly position it.
First impressions and prior to first use: It looks really nice, screws together really well, and holds tight (when screwing all the pole pieces together), really you wouldn’t really know it is made of multiple pieces. I can’t wait to put some lights on one side and bird feed on the other.
Fixing/Positioning: TIP – spike the fixed two spiikes in the ground first, THEN slide down the remaining two and push those into the ground second. I tried to do all four at the same time and I totally bent the spikes (two of them, one up and outwards). At this present time, all four spikes are in the ground and in a new place, but it’s a bit wobbly, sadly. I am sure it will take bird feeders and work out ok – but I’d rather have super sturdy. I guess it is down to preference.
5 star for looks and putting together, 3 star for sturdiness. I’m torn with three or four stars for this. It’s a good price and if you’re not fussy it’s a 4. If you’re like me and you want a good price but the best function – then you might be fussy lol. I’ll go with 4 stars.
Comes basically packaged in its individual parts, this take second to construct. Its set so you can have low to save reaching to plenty high if you prefer or want to deter critters.
It constructs nice and tight and is easy to set into the soil with its step on skewers that are plenty long and firm.
It would of been nice for a cross bar or something to make it look more like a bird feeder instead of an old coat stand but it does the job.
This comes flat packed and is easily assembled by screwing the various poles together. The height is 195cm at its tallest but you can shorten it simply by using fewer of the poles.
The spikes sink a good way into the ground and should withstand winds.
There are two hooks which you can use for bird feeders, lanterns or plants. Personally I am using it to replace an old bird feeder which has rusted. I would have preferred to have 4 hooks, but if you use small feeders you can use the two middle hooks too.
It is quite sturdy metal, so I think it is reasonable value for the current price of around 20.
It took my partner about ten minutes to assemble and install in our garden. Assembled it stands just over six feet tall, and feels quite sturdy. The four prongs in the base definitely help with this as does the threading on the poles; our last feeder stand only had one prong and the poles were a friction fit held together with a single screw so it never stood straight and swayed quite a lot in high winds. This one seems a lot more solid, it’s quite a windy day today and even with full feeders hanging off it it’s not bending, flexing or threatening to tip over.
I do feel the price is a little high for just the stand though especially when you compare it to similar items.
