I have had this keyboard case for many months now and I have only charged the keyboard once. Very easy to carry around and is a lot more convenient than a laptop. The case is of great quality, keyboard is highly responsive and have not had any issues with it so far.
My daughter has the M10 tablet for schoolwork so was in desperate need of a keyboard and this is great. The case holds the tablet tightly whilst giving full access to all the buttons and charging. It is tight to get on and off which is good as it won’t need to come off often, but seems sturdy enough to not worry about snapping anything
Positives:
– Perfect fit for the tablet
– Stylish case
– Stylus holder
– Strong magnets to keep keyboard and screen in place well
– Easy to connect with bluetooth
– Good battery life
Negatives:
– none
When it comes to keyboards I’m very easy to please and this keyboard did just the job I needed it for, the Bluetooth range was decent so you can type at the angle and comfort of best suited to your needs.
The magnet does seem slightly weak however I didn’t expect a really tough magnet to begin with.
When closed the case provides great cover for the screen itself which is just what I need. The case feels sturdy and feels great too.
Overall great case and definitely would recommend
The Lenovo case comes with detachable keypad. Its keypad has a good battery life so far. Its connectivity via Bluetooth to the Lenovo device is good and the keypad very responsive
The case does its job, which is to hold a tablet and allow a keyboard to be used in a similar way to a laptop. Alternatively the keyboard, as it is blue tooth connected can be used at a distance away from the screen and case without wires. When tested the keyboard connected up to a laptop with no problems.
The keyboard is magnetic which means it is attracted to the inside base of the case to keep it secure, unfortunately this magnetism isn’t that strong and whilst it stays on the base it does not feel that secure.
The case has 3 possible positions which can be selected to alter the angle of the tablet screen, these seem to cover most regularly used angles but it would have been good to have a continuously adjustable mechanism so the alternatives were much greater. The whole case does feel like it may flop around a bit but that could be because of the lack of a tablet in the unit when I was testing it.
This seems like a case and keyboard made to a price point and whilst it does the job there are probably more premium options out there, albeit at a higher price.
The case itself is ok quality and does the intended job unfortunately it is let down by having a magnetic keyboard which isn’t strong enough. It is a c type USB but this is very short so will need to be within 10-15 cm of a plug, really needs a longer cable. But this does work if the magnetic side was stronger and the cable longer it would of got 5 stars
This item comprises the case, a small keyboard and a short USB cable for use with the keyboard.
Firstly, the case itself has quite a nice finish. It feels decent, and the tablet feels secure when in position. It is a wrap-over style, and there are 3 “slots” in the case that the screen can be placed in when sitting it at an angle. These seem fairly secure too.
The keyboard is a small qwerty type which, contrary to some other, similar, keyboards I’ve bought, seems to have the keys in all the right places (given the size constraints). It actually feels not bad either although, as I’m a software engineer who spends 8 hours a day on a full-size keyboard, it does feel cramped.
Together, however, I’m not so sure. The keyboard is supposed to be magnetic and, while there is some, obvious, attractive force going on between it and the case, it doesn’t feel very strong, and seems to only be in certain positions. As a result, I can imagine the keyboard falling out when the case is folded, either hitting, or scratching the tablet screen.
In addition, I’d hoped that the case could be folded tighter around the tablet if I wanted to use it without the keyboard. Maybe this would be possible over time but, certainty initially, the folds on the case are not flexible enough for that and you end up with a gap.
My choice of 4 stars is mainly due to this product feeling and looking good, in terms of both case and keyboard, but it doesn’t give me the flexibility I’d want in a 5* product.
If you’re sure you’ll use the keyboard a lot (such that you need it with you all the time), I think this would be a good choice, however, if so, I’d be tempted to invest in some sort of thing pad to place between the keyboard and tablet when the case is closed, and some strips of velcro to help keep the keyboard in place both in use, and when folded inside the case.
