These workout wrist straps are comfortable to use and provide extra grip to the bar or dumbbell. They are good quality and shouldn’t tear easily. They can work across various equipment types and provides extra help in lifting. Would recommend to gym/workout users!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable to use

These give good hand protection and would fit a lot of wrist sizes. I have tiny wrists but they expand quite far. I use them for strengthening my shoulders after a shoulder injury on my son’s pull up bars. They do also fit him too. They are comfortable and the suede tongue offers a decent amount of protection and cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for pull up bar protectio

Pair of wrist straps for weightlifting and working out. Two layers of leather give soft yet strong support. Helping to protect your palms from blisters and calluses. Less abrasive than webbing style straps and less slippy than rubber/silicone. Wrists are protected with the velcro adjustable straps. Slightly expensive at over 20, but the leather should last a long time.

I have soft hands so have used these for assistance when doing pullups.

Hold up well and have saved my hands from those manly awful blisters when a fat man is trying to pull himself up.

I got these because I needed some extra wrist support when weight training, however, I didn’t realise they had an extra flap of fabric which makes it very hard to wear gloves at the same time. Also the instructions were useless, but it was easy enough to figure out how to wear them. Whilst I found that they do provide a decent amount of wrist support, I like to wear gloves so they didn’t work that well for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Didn’t work well for me

This is certainly made with care. The stitching is well done, which in my mind when lifting weights that have course grips.

The leather is well finished with a suede texture. This acts as both a with comfortable surface to grip, protecting your hands, but also prevents slipping from sweat.

The finger grip has some additional padding which also acts as a nice anti slip, stopping bars from moving and also a bit of extra stability when doing pull ups.

The wrist strap is good for a range of wrist sizes. Mine are quite small at about 120mm.

Aesthetically the grips look really nice and professional. The lightning bolt stitched in is a nice touch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Robust. Well fitted. Excellent stitching. Fits wrist well.

I thought I’d try these straps to provide additional support / grip while weightlifting, instead of the old school strips of fabric type straps. The leather flap is longer than expected but I suspect that’s mainly due to small hands. That being said they seem to be of great quality and I have no doubt they will last for a long time.

The velcro adjustment also makes it really easy to secure the wraps in place and provides the necessary hand protection to prevent blisters/calluses. The straps are also very flexible so do not get in the way of any movements, allowing you to continue with your workout with ease.

They’re much quicker to wrap around the bar compared to the long ones that take multiple wraps, I manage to get these wrapped and ready to go in seconds. They make dropping the weight easier too if you’re a fan of dropping weights from a height… A little weight at the bottom of the flap helps you get the flap around the bar a little easier.

Overall, very happy with the product and pretty good for the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for grip, better than the old-school long wraps

As a person who is new to the gym, I was really struggling with lifting as it was hurting my hands.
    No more!
These straps are easy to attach and make it more comfortable.

I used this wrist straps as intended and didn’t find anything special about ‘dual layer oxford leather’ however, they wrapped around my wrists well and tight and acted as a sufficient barrier between me and the weights. I do wish one thing, that the leather part was just a tiny bit wider. I have small/medium size hands and found the width to be just a little short.

These are a bit rough on your hands, but a lot less rough than the barbells. They provide good grip and protection, and I’m pretty sure they’ll wear in nicely. Took me a while to work out how to wear them correctly, but have had no problems since.

These are the only straps I’ve ever used, so I don’t know where they stand in comparison with others. But these straps certainly beat any gloves I’ve ever used and I love them – both, their look and quality. Finally I can deadlift as heavy as I can without barbell slipping out of my hands.

4.0 out of 5 stars good quality and long enough.

I’ve always been a user of the kind of long wraps you put around the bar several times for heavy pull movements. These straps offer the different approach of a velcro wrist wrap with an attached leather piece to put around the bar. That has pros and cons, it seems to me. It’s certainly easier than the other kind: you can just about leave these on for most of your workout, and deploy the wraps as needed. Using them is very easy. On the other hand it seems inherently less strong, so time will tell how durable they prove to be. These straps certainly appear to be well-made and comfortable (no loose ends or rough bits), so I’m optimistic!

I think these outperform other more expensive options, both in comfort and grip.

These wrist straps are comfortable to wear and provide a beneficial amount of padding. Thus allowing me to get on with lifting without any distraction from them.

They are easy to apply to bars and machine handles.

I have unilaterally lifted more than a full weight stack (additional weights added) on a back machine at a gym with these and without any issue with their performance and integrity.

Individually labelled with an L and R for left and right.

Upon inspection I cannot find any flaws in their construction.

I am however unable to comment on their longevity.

Boxed (cardboard) with an instructions sheet of paper included.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are really well made, they are very comfortable to wear, they look great and I will happily use these going forward for exercises that do not use a barbell, so for dumbbell lifts, and pull-ups and chin-ups. The reason I say I will not use for barbell exercises, deadlifts as an example, is because whilst they definitely improve your grip, massively so compared to bare hand or just a pair of lifting gloves, they do not give anywhere near the support that lifting straps or figure 8 straps do for these heavy lifts.

What I really like about these is the quality of the different materials used from the black neoprene type wrist guard to the black durable material wrist strap to the velcro patches to the metal hook for threading the wrist strap through to the leather lifting strap — all high quality. Also the stitching looks very good and like it will stand the test of time well.

Each strap has a L and a R label to help you easily identify what arm to fit them. Please refer to photos included with this review to see how to wear and use these straps.

I do recommend these but as already mentioned if you are used to normal lifting straps or figure 8 straps and are considering these for big heavy liftsif your grip is the weakest part of your big lifts then prepare to be humbled by using these for those! May not be a bad thing though as will help grip strength improve. For me the sweet spot with these is how comfortable they are and how quick it is to set them in place on equipment and use them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well made, very comfortable, quick to attach to equipment, look grea

These straps look good and you can tell straight away that they’re excellent quality. I normally use weight lifting gloves to protect my hands (and keep them warm against the metal weights) in the gym. These are a better alternative for some of my weightlifting exercises as they help more with my grip, but I struggled a little bit getting them on without assistance. They also got in the way of my smart watch (which I also wear in the gym for obvious reasons). I had to negotiate positioning of the wrap so that I could still wear my watch and the wrap correctly. When all that was sorted they were great. Watch this space, practice makes perfect.

These are very well made with a high quality robust feel, but just as importantly, they are a good idea, providing better grip and wrist support while lifting heavy weights. Having developed bad tennis elbow as an indirect consequence of continuing to exercise with a strained wrist I am not taking any more chances.

When I first looked at these I thought I had made a mistake by ordering a large size that would be too big for my skinny wrists, but it turned out to be L for left and there is plenty latitude for any sized wrist.

I did struggle a bit with the fitting, having a bit of brain fog at the time, so I visited the website and worked it out by looking at the photos. I do think the L and R labels should be on the outside, rather than the inside so they are easier to see. Overall though, these are very good, providing wrist support, better grip and protection for your hands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good wrist support and enhanced grip
