I have been looking for a mat that is long enough to place infront of the kitchen sink without slipping and finally found one that is big enough and works! The amount of water splashing around when washing up the dishes and all some of the mats are really small but this one is long enough to cover more area. Plus it doesnt move around. The colour is a brown and goes well with a nice homely look.
Got this rug for my entrance hallway, Perfect size as it’s not too wide. However, it’s a bit difficult to clean. Even after I hoover there are small crumbs that simply don’t lift up from the rug. I have also found it clicks easily which also doesn’t help when you then try to hoove
This mat arrived with minimal packaging, as seen in the photos. Having been tightly-coiled for some time, it didn’t flatten out immediately. The notes recommend reverse-rolling for a while, and it emerged completely flat. The non-slip backing seems to help it hug the floor, and it is thin enough not to present much of a trip hazard.
The fabric of the top layer has a prominent weave and the edges are all neatly bound, with square corners. In the kitchen, the mat is better to stand on than the bare vinyl, but not as comfortable as a padded PU leather mat.
We noticed that the mat seems to attract dirt and hairs (which may be a good thing), and it’s difficult to keep it looking smart with vacuuming alone. It’s good to know that it can be cleaned in a washing machine many times, or even with a hose. we haven’t tried it in the machine yet. The price has risen by 20% in the last month, to 42.99 for this six-footer, which looks uncompetitive, even with other offerings from the same maker, but it might become better value at some point.
I was in shock when I saw the price of this kitchen runner rug, 45.99 ????? I don’t understand how they can justify that cost. Its grey and 43x180cm, its non slip and has a good absorbency if you do spill water/liquids. You can get it in blue or brown too plus a slightly smaller size of 43x120cm but that’s still very expensive (34.99) To be honest it doesn’t look much different to others on the market that are a lot cheaper. Personally I would not have this any where in my home other than the kitchen or laundry room, maybe the passage to catch dirty/wet shoes, it would look totally out of place anywhere else. It states its washable but I would say only with a proper carpet cleaner, I would not put it in a washing machine because of the backing on it.
I have been looking for a decent length runner, in a plain pattern, for my kitchen for a while but have only seen short mats or bright ‘garish’ designs in the past. Seeing the Color G runner with a decent 1.8m length, I took a chance on it.
The runner is a plain almost mottled grey with a tight weave and a neoprene type backing that stops it from sliding around on solid flooring. It came rolled up and the instructions said to leave for a day or so to flatten but I found it flattened in about 30 minutes as the roll was not too tight.
Having now used it for a couple of weeks, it looks almost new still and is not showing heavy soiling as other mats have. I have also been able to wipe of spillages without any issue or staining.
Being critical, it could do with being a little wider. The 43cm width means it doesn’t cover as much floor as I would like – 50 or 60cm would have been better. It is also not the cheapest but feels like it will last a long time.
Ordered this runner as I wanted something at my back French doors as some of the other mats that I have had have only been really small not even the width of one of the doors. This is perfect. Item arrived rolled up and was easy to unpackage and lay on the floor, didn’t need to roll a different way or anything, it simply laid flat first time which was a bonus!
This comes in a nice grey colour and the texture of the fabric isn’t rough, it’s quite smooth. With it being a dark grey I feel this will help to hide some of the dirt that may get brought into the house. Now it’s disappointing that this isn’t washing machine safe, the instructions show how to clean the runner.
I do like this product and I’m glad that I got it, however I do feel that the current price of 34.99 may be a little expensive for what it is, but given the quality of the stitching and everything I feel that it could be justified.
The Color G Kitchen Non Slip Washable rug is a great addition to any home. Measuring at 43x180cm, it provides ample coverage for any kitchen or dining room. The woven design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also absorbent, making spills and messes a breeze to clean up. The non-skid bottom ensures safety while the rug stays securely in place. I love that it is easy to clean and maintain, making it a practical choice for any household. The grey color is neutral and versatile, blending seamlessly with any decor. Overall, I highly recommend the rug for anyone looking for a durable, functional, and stylish rug for their kitchen or dining area.
This runner style rug is perfect for both the kitchen and the hallway and has a thick, woven pattern that is non slip and somewhat comfy to stand on. The rug looks great in the grey design and this hides a loot of footprints but the rug itself is not all that water repellent and takes ages to dry if even slightly wet. Its also not the easiest to clean as it cannot be machine washed. For the price, it offers decent value for money and it does its job well. While not a full 5 stars, this is never the less a very good rug. Recommended!
This is a decent enough non-slip rug, the non-slip backing works well on my vinyl kitchen floor. At about 4′ long, it’s the right size to place on the floor by the sink or the oven to catch spills, water, oil etc. It’s well made and looks like it should last a long time.
My only real concern is that it’s not washable as far as I can tell, so it’s quite possible that it will get dirty and won’t be easy to clean, and I wonder whether it will become a little smelly in time. Other than that, I am pleased with it. Of course, the important thing is that the non-slip backing works, and although it’s fine in my kitchen, it may not work everywhere.
