This baby gate is amazing! I installed it on my patio to keep my dog from roaming off. We’ve had it in place for about 2 months now and it’s never let me down. I love that it can swing either direction and can lock open easily. It makes it so easy for carrying items back and forth from our BBQ grill. You won’t be disappointed buying this.
The gate is tall enough to keep our son contained yet short enough that I can step over it. Our son tries to wiggle the gate and shake it, but it’s on there very well. I don’t have to worry about it coming loose. It’s super easy to install and only took a few minutes. We do not have the extension in for this spot, but would also work well in wider areas.
I would love to give this gate 5 stars but, I can not. I did not see anywhere under the product specs where it stated the spacing between the bars. It is 2 1/4 inches. Yes, it has a small door but it doesn’t matter when the dogs can just walk thru the bars while the gate is closed. I have 3 chihuahua puppies ranging from 2.8 to 2 pounds. I like everything about this gate and it fits the 34″ doorway with the one small attachment. Unfortunately, I have no use for it as it can not do what it is intended to.

Produit de qualit. Facile installer, solide. La hauteur est un plus. On ne trouve pas de barrire de scurit de cette taille partout. Idal pour fermer un couloir et bloquer son berger allemand. Bien plus solide que le autres portillons que j’ai pu avoir avant. Trs satisfaite
La puerta es bastante ms esttica de lo que esperaba. Excelente calidad y muy resistente. Muy fcil de armar y colocar siempre que se respeten las instrucciones (no retirar el cinturn que la mantiene cerrada antes de instalar).
La uso para evitar que un salchicha cachorro baje la escalera y es perfecta, no cabe entre los barrotes pero es fcil de abrir y cerrar an con una mano.
Bien instalada no se mueve de lugar a pesar del uso constante. Muy recomendable.
Works well. Used it at the top of our stairs. I did hv my husband install it backward so that the gate would swing towards me in the right direction at the top of our stairs. Works fine
La mia cucciola non riesce a saltarlo, veramente alto. Bello da vedere, facile da montare se si seguono bene le istruzioni (tipo non togliere il fermo che blocca l’apertura se non a fine montaggio). Apertura impossibile per il cane. Veramente un buon acquisto
En mi caso yo tengo una perrita de 14 kg y esta bastante grande, una Boyero de Berna y se para a veces en la valla pero no la tumba ni nada. Es muy segura. Se puede abrir hacia ambos lados pero bueno hay un lado que queda mucho ms cmodo. Tiene muy buena altura que era lo que ms me preocupaba. Adems los perros se acostumbran cuando ven la valla a no intentar saltar.. Bueno en mi caso mi perrita no es tan gil como un Galgo. Esta mi opinin. Yo la recomiendo. Queda muy bonita puesta. Para abrir se aprieta arriba y abajo a la vez fuerte.. Bueno eso s mi nio de 2 aos y 4 meses ya intenta pillar la tcnica aunque an no tiene la fuerza para abrirlo.
La he usado para la separacio de diferentes tamaos de perros y la calidad es muy buena ya que es fuerte, rgida y bastante duradera, aparte de tener buen tamao para que no salten por encima.

Sturdy, heavy metal. I like the textured finish vs a shiny smooth finish. The self-closing door is nice, especially when your hands are full. Fairly easy to install, possible with 1 person, but easier with 2. One extension piece was needed to fit across the stair entrance. I did buy extra foot pad pieces to give the tension bars more surface area on the wall. We purchased the gate to keep the dogs downstairs to give the cat some peace upstairs while pet sitting 2 extra dogs. The cat door is great for allowing kitty to venture thru.

Things to note
* the door can be finicky to close, one gate worked perfectly while the other needed a little more attention when closing to latch on top and bottom
* you’ll need to tie the gate closed when uninstalling or it opens up and makes it hard to install again, a strong velcro loop may hold the spring of the door shu
I like that you can open the door fully and it will stay in place as you pass through. The latch is definitely childproof but requires pinching two different mechanisms simultaneously in different directions. Slide top while depressing bottom. I don’t like that this gate and most others will sit on a stair and cause you to have to turn your foot to traverse the stair tread due to the hardware taking up the area where you normally walk on the tread. Walking on top of the rail I speak of is not all that safe or comfortable. It latches securely and with a slight push close automatically. Very nice when trying to keep a wild puppy in the room you want them in and not easily slip through while you open and close the gate. All in all I like this gate and felt the price was decent.
I love this gate. Easy to assemble. Doesn’t move. Stays in place. This is the best gate l have ever had with all my dogs. Swings both ways! Very sturdy and stable. We looked for the right gate and we are very satisfied with this purchase. I hope this review helps you decide, you won’t be disappointed.
We had a wooden gate installed here before. The dogs decided they didn’t like being in the basement when stuff was going on upstairs and chewed the wood apart. This gate is solid metal and they haven’t been able to damage it so far. Easy to install with the included hardware. The lock seems sturdy.
